2 Again she gave yalad (birth / begot), to Cain's ach (brother/kinsman) Habal (Abel). Habal (Abel) was a raih (keeper) of tzaan (sheep), but Qayan (Cain) was a ibad (servant) of the adamah (ground).
3 As yawam (day) passed, it happened that Qayan (Cain) bawaa (come) an manachah (offering) to Yahawah () from the paray (fruit) of the adamah (ground).
4 Habal (Abel) also bawaa (come) some of the bakawarah (firstborn) of his tzaan (flock) and of its chalab (fat). Yahawah () shaih (respected) Habal (Abel) and his manachah (offering),

8 Qayan (Cain) amar (said) to Habal (Abel), his ach (brother/kinsman), “Let's go into the shadah (field).” It happened when they were in the field, that Qayan (Cain) qawam (rise up) up al (toward) Habal (Abel), his ach (brother/kinsman), and harag (kill) him.
9 Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Qayan (Cain), “ay (where) is Habal (Abel), your ach (brother/kinsman)?” He amar (spoke), “I don't yadai (know). Am I my ach (brother/kinsman) keeper?”
10 Yahawah () said, “mah (what) ishah (make) you done? The qawal (sound / voice) of your ach (brother/kinsman) dam (blood) tzaiqayam (cries) to me from the adamah (ground).
11 Now you are arar (cursed) because of the adamah (ground), which has patzah (opened) its pah (mouth) to laqach (take / seize) your ach (brother/kinsman) dam (blood) from your yad (hand).
12 From kay (surely) on, when you ibad (servant) the adamah (ground), it won't nathan (give) its kach (strength / mighty / power) to you. You shall be a nawai (fugitive) and a wanderer in the aratz (Earth/land).”
13 Qayan (Cain) amar (spoke) to Yahawah (), “My iwan (guilt/iniquity) is greater than I can nashaa (lift).
14 Behold, you have garash (driven) me out this yawam (day) from the surface of the ground. I will be sathar (hidden) from your panayam (face), and I will be a nawai (fugitive) and a wanderer in the aratz (Earth/land). It will hayah (came to pass) that whoever matzaa (finds) me will harag (kill) me.”
15 Yahawah () amar (spoke) to him, “Therefore whoever harag (kill) Qayan (Cain), naqam (vengeance) will be taken on him sevenfold.” Yahawah () shawam (place / establish / appoint) a awath (sign / mark / miracle) for Qayan (Cain), balathay (without) any matzaa (finding) him should nakah (strike) him.
16 Qayan (Cain) yatzaa (go out / come out) out from Yahawah () panayam (face), and lived in the aratz (Earth/land) of Nawad (Nod), qadamah (east) of Idan (Eden).
17 Qayan (Cain) yadai (knew) his ayashah (woman / wife). She harah (conceived), and gave yalad (birth / begot) to Chanawak (Chanawak / Enoch). He banah (build) a iyar (city), and qaraa (called) the sham (name) of the iyar (city), after the sham (name) of his ban (son), Chanawak (Chanawak / Enoch).
18 To Chanawak (Chanawak / Enoch) was yalad (birth / begot) Iyarad (Irad). Iyarad (Irad) became the father of Machawayaal (Mehujael). Machawayaal (Mehujael) became the father of Mathawashaal (Methushael). Mathawashaal (Methushael) became the father of Lamak (Lamech).
19 Lamak (Lamech) laqach (take / seize) shanayam (two) wives: the sham (name) of the achad (one) was Idah (Adah), and the sham (name) of the other Tzalah (Zillah).
20 Idah (Adah) gave yalad (birth / begot) to Yabal (Jabal), who was the ab (father) of those who yashab (inhabit/dwell) in ahal (tents) and have livestock.
21 His ach (brother/kinsman) sham (name) was Yawabal (Jubal), who was the ab (father) of all who thapash (handle) the kanawar (harp) and pipe.
22 Tzalah (Zillah) also gave yalad (birth / begot) to Thawabalaqayan (Tubal) Qayan (Cain), the forger of every cutting instrument of nachashath (brass) and barazal (iron). Thawabalaqayan (Tubal) Cain's achawath (sister) was Naimah (Naamah).
23 Lamak (Lamech) amar (said) to his wives, “Idah (Adah) and Tzalah (Zillah), shamai (hearken / hear) my qawal (sound / voice). You wives of Lamak (Lamech), listen to my amarah (sayings), for I have harag (kill) a yalad (birth / begot) for patzai (wounding) me, a young yalad (birth / begot) for chabawarah (bruising) me.
24 If Qayan (Cain) will be naqam (avenged) shabaithayam (seven) times, truly Lamak (Lamech) seventy-seven shabai (seven).”
25 Adam () yadai (knew) his ayashah (woman / wife) again. She gave yalad (birth / begot) to a ban (son), and sham (name) him Shath (Seth), “for Alahayam () has shayath (put / appoint / make) me achar (other) zarai (child) thachath (under) of Habal (Abel), for Qayan (Cain) harag (kill) him.”
26 There was also yalad (birth / begot) a ban (son) to Shath (Seth), and he sham (name) him Anawash (Enosh). Then men began to qaraa (called) on Yahawah () sham (name).
