1 Then Yawasap (Joseph) bawaa (bring) in and nagad (told) Paraih (Pharaoh), and amar (said), “My ab (father) and my ach (brother/kinsman), with their tzaan (flocks), their baqar (morning), and all that they own, bawaa (bring) come out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan); and behold, they are in the aratz (Earth/land) of Gashan (Goshen).”
2 From among his ach (brother/kinsman) he laqach (take / seize) chamash (five) anashayam (men), and yatzag (presented) them to Paraih (Pharaoh).
3 Paraih (Pharaoh) amar (said) to his ach (brother/kinsman), “What is your maishah (occupation)?” They amar (said) to Paraih (Pharaoh), “Your ibad (servant) are raih (shepherds), both we, and our ab (father).”
4 They amar (said) to Paraih (Pharaoh), “We bawaa (bring) come to live as foreigners in the aratz (Earth/land), for there is no maraih (pasture) for your ibad (servant)’ tzaan (flocks). For the raib (famine) is severe in the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan). Now therefore, please let your ibad (servant) yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Gashan (Goshen).”
5 Paraih (Pharaoh) amar (said) to Yawasap (Joseph), amar (said), “Your ab (father) and your ach (brother/kinsman) bawaa (bring) come to you.
6 The aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) is panayam (face) you. Yashab (inhabit/dwell) your ab (father) and your ach (brother/kinsman) yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the best of the aratz (Earth/land). Let them yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Gashan (Goshen). If you yadai (know) any able yadai (men) among them, then shawam (place / establish / appoint) them in charge of my livestock.”
7 Yawasap (Joseph) bawaa (bring) in Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch), his ab (father), and imad (set) him panayam (face) Paraih (Pharaoh), and Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch) barak (blessed) Paraih (Pharaoh).
8 Paraih (Pharaoh) amar (said) to Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch), "mah (how) many are the yamay (days) of the years of your life?"
9 Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch) amar (said) to Paraih (Pharaoh), “The yamay (days) of the shanay (second) of my magawar (pilgrimage) are one maah (hundred) shalawashayam (thirty) shanay (second). Mait (few) and rai (evil) have been the yamay (days) of the shanay (second) of my chay (life), and they have not nashag (attained) to the yamay (days) of the shanay (second) of the chay (life) of my ab (father) in the yamay (days) of their magawar (pilgrimage).”
10 Yaiqab (Jacob - Patriarch) barak (blessed) Paraih (Pharaoh), and yatzaa (go out / come out) out from the panayam (face) of Paraih (Pharaoh).
11 Yawasap (Joseph) yashab (inhabit/dwell) his ab (father) and his ach (brother/kinsman), and nathan (give) them a achazah (possession) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), in the mayatab (best) of the aratz (Earth/land), in the aratz (Earth/land) of Raimasas (Rameses), as Paraih (Pharaoh) had tzawah (commanded).
12 Yawasap (Joseph) kawal (all) his ab (father), his ach (brother/kinsman), and all of his ab (father) bayath (house), with lacham (bread), pah (according) to their tap (families).
13 There was no lacham (bread) in all the aratz (Earth/land); for the raib (famine) was very severe, so that the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) and the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan) lahah (fainted) by panayam (face) of the raib (famine).
14 Yawasap (Joseph) laqat (gathered) up all the kasap (money) that was matzaa (found) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), and in the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), for the grain which they bought: and Yawasap (Joseph) bawaa (bring) the kasap (money) into Paraih (Pharaoh's) bayath (house).
15 When the kasap (money) was thamam (all) spent in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), and in the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), all the Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) bawaa (bring) to Yawasap (Joseph), and amar (said), “yahab (give) us lacham (bread), for why should we mawath (death) in your presence? For our kasap (money) apas (fails).”
16 Yawasap (Joseph) amar (said), “yahab (give) me your livestock; and I will nathan (give) you food for your livestock, if your kasap (money) is apas (gone).”
17 They bawaa (bring) their livestock to Yawasap (Joseph), and Yawasap (Joseph) nathan (give) them lacham (bread) in exchange for the sawasayam (horses), and for the tzaan (flocks), and for the baqar (morning), and for the donkeys: and he nahal (fed) them with lacham (bread) in exchange for all their livestock for that shanah (year).
18 When that shanah (year) was thamam (ended), they bawaa (come) to him the shanay (second) shanah (year), and amar (spoke) to him, “We will not kachad (hide) from my Adawan () how our kasap (money) is thamam (all) spent, and the maqanah (herds) of livestock are my Adawan (). There is nothing shaar (left) in the panayam (face) of my Adawan (), but our gawayah (corpse), and our adamah (lands).
19 Why should we mawath (death) before your iyan (eye), both we and our adamah (land)? Qanah (buy) us and our adamah (land) for lacham (bread), and we and our adamah (land) will be ibadayam (servants) to Paraih (Pharaoh). Nathan (give) us zarai (seed), that we may chayah (live), and not mawath (death), and that the adamah (land) won't be yasham (desolate).”
20 So Yawasap (Joseph) bought all the adamah (land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) for Paraih (Pharaoh), for every ayash (man / husband) of the Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) makar (sold) his shadah (field), because the raib (famine) was severe on them, and the aratz (Earth/land) became Paraih (Pharaoh's).
21 As for the im (nation / people), he moved them to the irayam (cities) from one qatzah (end / extremity / border) of the gabawal (border/boundary) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) even to the other qatzah (end / extremity / border) of it.
22 Only he didn't buy the adamah (land) of the kahanayam (priests), for the kahanayam (priests) had a chaq (statute) from Paraih (Pharaoh), and akal (eat) their chaq (statute) which Paraih (Pharaoh) nathan (give) them. That is why they didn't makar (sell) their adamah (land).
23 Then Yawasap (Joseph) amar (said) to the im (nation / people), “Behold, I have bought you and your adamah (land) today for Paraih (Pharaoh). Haa (behold), here is zarai (seed) for you, and you shall zarai (sow) the adamah (land).
24 It will happen at the harvests, that you shall nathan (give) a chamayashay (fifth) to Paraih (Pharaoh), and arabai (four) yadath (parts) will be your own, for zarai (seed) of the shadah (field), for your akal (food), for them of your bayath (house), and for akal (eat) for your little tap (ones).”
25 They amar (spoke), “You have chayah (saved) our lives! Let us matzaa (find) favor in the iyan (eye) of my Adawan (), and we will be Paraih (Pharaoh's) ibadayam (servants).”
26 Yawasap (Joseph) shawam (place / establish / appoint) it a chaq (statute) concerning the adamah (land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) to this yawam (day), that Paraih (Pharaoh) should have the chamash (fifth). Only the adamah (land) of the kahanayam (priests) raq (concept: what comes out / spittle) didn't become Paraih (Pharaoh's).
27 Yashar-Al (Israel) lived in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), in the aratz (Earth/land) of Gashan (Goshen); and they got themselves yaachazaw (possessions) therein, and were parah (bear fruit / increase), and rabah (multiplied) maad (exceedingly).

29 The yawam (day) qarab (come close) near that Yashar-Al (Israel) must mawath (death), and he qaraa (called) his ban (son) Yawasap (Joseph), and amar (said) to him, “If now I matzaa (have) found favor in your iyan (eye), please shawam (place / establish / appoint) your yad (hand) under my yarak (thigh), and ishah (make) chasad (grace) and truly with me. Please don't qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) me in Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt),
30 But when I sleep with my ab (father), you shall nashaa (lift) me out of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), and qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) me in their qabawarah (burying) place.” He amar (said), “I will ishah (make) as you have dabar (word / matter).”
31 He amar (said), “shabai (swear / take oath) to me,” and he shabai (swear / take oath) to him. Yashar-Al (Israel) shachah (bowed) himself on the matah (bed's) raash (head).
