21 They helped Dawad (David) against the raash (head) of rovers: for they were all mighty men of valor, and were raashay (captains) in the army.
22 For from hayah (came to pass) to hayah (came to pass) men hayah (came to pass) to Dawad (David) to izar (help) him, until there was a great gadawad (army), like the gadawad (army) of Alahayam ().
23 These are the numbers of the heads of those who were armed for bawaa (come), who bawaa (come) to Dawad (David) to Chabarawan (Hebron), to turn the kingdom of Shaawal (Saul) to him, according to the word of Yahawah ().

29 Of the nair (children) of Banayamayan (Benjamin), the brothers of Shaawal (Saul), three shanayam (two): for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept their allegiance to the bayath (house) of Shaawal (Saul).
30 Of the banay (children) of Aparayam (Ephraim) twenty alap (thousand) eight hundred, ban (son) banay (men) of valor, famous men in their fathers’ bayath (house).
31 Of the half-tribe of Manashah (Manasseh) eighteen alap (thousand), who were mentioned by sham (name), to ban (son) and make Dawad (David) king.
32 Of the children of Yashashakar (Issachar), men who had understanding of the times, to know what Yashar-Al (Israel) ought to do, their heads were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their commandment.
33 Of Zabawalawan (Zebulun), such as were able to go out in the army, who could ishah (make) the battle in array, with all kinds of instruments of war, fifty thousand, and who could command and were not of double heart.
34 Of Napathalay (Naphtali) one alap (thousand) captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty - seven alap (thousand).
35 Of the Danay (Danites) who could set the battle in array, twenty - eight alap (thousand) six hundred.
36 Of Ashar (Asher), such as were able to go out in the army, who could irak (set) the malachamah (battle) in array, forty alap (thousand).
37 On the other side of the Yaradan (Jordan), of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half - tribe of Manashah (Manasseh), with all kinds of instruments of tzabaa (troop) for the malachamah (battle), one hundred twenty alap (thousand).
38 All these being men of malachamah (war), who could order the battle array, came with a perfect shabat (heart) to Chabarawan (Hebron), to make Dawad (David) shabat (king) over all Yashar-Al (Israel): and all the rest also of Yashar-Al (Israel) were of one shabat (heart) to make Dawad (David) shabat (king).
