1 So all Yashar-Al (Israel) were yachash (reckoned) by genealogies; and behold, they are kathab (write) in the sapar (book / scribed document) of the malakay (kings) of Yashar-Al (Israel): and Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) was galah (carried) away captive to Babal (Babylon) for their disobedience.
2 Now the raashawan (first) yawashabayam (inhabitants) who lived in their achazah (possessions) in their iyar (cities) were Yashar-Al (Israel), the kahanayam (priests), the Lawayay (Levites), and the nathayan (nethinim).
3 In Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem) lived of the banay (my son) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), and of the banay (my son) of Banayamayan (Benjamin), and of the banay (my son) of Aparayam (Ephraim) and Manashah (Manasseh):
4 Iwathay (Uthai) the ban (son) of Imayahawad (Ammihud), the ban (son) of Imaray (Omri), the ban (son) of Amaray (Imri), the ban (son) of Banay (Bani), of the banay (children) of Paratz (Perez) the ban (son) of Yahawadah (Judah).
5 Of the Shayalawanay (Shilonites): Ishayah (Asaiah) the bakawar (firstborn), and his ban (son).
6 Of the banay (my son) of Zarach (Zerah): Yaiwaal (Jeuel), and their ach (brother/kinsman), shash (six) maah (hundred) thashaiyam (ninety).
7 Of the banay (my son) of Banayamayan (Benjamin): Salaw (Sallu) the ban (son) of Mashalam (Meshullam), the ban (son) of Hawadawayah (Hodaviah), the ban (son) of Sanawaah (Hassenuah),
8 And Yabanayah (Ibneiah) the ban (son) of Yaracham (Jeroham), and Alah (these) the ban (son) of Izay (Uzzi), the ban (son) of Makaray (Michri), and Mashalam (Meshullam) the ban (son) of Shapatayah (Shephatiah), the ban (son) of Raiwaal (Reuel), the ban (son) of Yabanayah (Ibnijah);
9 And their ach (brother/kinsman), according to their thawaladah (generation), thashai (nine) maah (hundred) chamashayam (fifty) - shash (six). All these anashayam (men) were raashay (heads) of abawath (fathers)’ households by their abawath (fathers)’ bayath (house).
10 Of the kahanayam (priests): Yadaiyah (Jedaiah), and Yahawayarayab (Jehoiarib), Yakayan (Jachin),
11 And Izarayah (Azariah) the ban (son) of Chalaqayah (Hilkiah), the ban (son) of Mashalam (Meshullam), the ban (son) of Tzadawaq (Zadok), the ban (son) of Marayawath (Meraioth), the ban (son) of Achayatawab (Ahitub), the nagayad (ruler) of the bayath (house) of Alahayam ();
12 And Idayah (Adaiah) the ban (son) of Yaracham (Jeroham), the ban (son) of Pashachawar (Pashhur), the ban (son) of Malakayah (Malchijah), and Maishay (Maasai) the ban (son) of Idayaal (Adiel), the ban (son) of Yachazarah (Jahzerah), the ban (son) of Mashalam (Meshullam), the ban (son) of Mashalamayath (Meshillemith), the ban (son) of Amar (said);
13 And their ach (brother/kinsman), raashayam (heads) of their ab (father)’ bayath (house), one alap (thousand) shabai (seven) maah (hundred) shashayam (sixty); very chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) gabawaray (men) for the malaakah (work) of the ibadah (service) of the bayath (house) of Alahayam ().
14 Of the Lawayay (Levites): Shamaiyah (Shemaiah) the ban (son) of Chashawab (Hasshub), the ban (son) of Izarayaqam (Azrikam), the ban (son) of Chashabayah (Hashabiah), of the banay (my son) of Mararay (Merari);
15 And Baqabaqar (Bakbakkar), Charash (Heresh), and Galal (Galal), and Mathanayah (Mattaniah) the ban (son) of Mayakaa (Mica), the ban (son) of Zakaray (Zichri), the ban (son) of Asap (Asaph),
16 And Ibadayah (Obadiah) the ban (son) of Shamaiyah (Shemaiah), the ban (son) of Galal (Galal), the ban (son) of Yadawathawan (Jeduthun), and Barakayah (Berechiah) the ban (son) of Asaa (Asa), the ban (son) of Alaqanah (Elkanah), who lived in the chatzaray (villages) of the Natapathay (Netophathites).
17 The shairayam (porters): Shalawam (peace / safety), and Iqawab (Akkub), and Talamawan (Talmon), and Achayaman (Ahiman), and their ach (brother/kinsman) (Shalawam (peace / safety) was the raash (head)),
18 Who previously served in the malak (king) shair (gate) eastward: they were the shairayam (porters) for the machanah (camp) of the banay (my son) of Laway (Levi).
19 Shalawam (Shallum) the ban (son) of Qawaraa (Kore), the ban (son) of Abayasap (Ebiasaph), the ban (son) of Qarach (Korah), and his ach (brother/kinsman), of his ab (father) bayath (house), the qarachayam (korahites), were over the malaakah (work) of the ibadah (service), keepers of the sapayam (thresholds) of the ahal (tent): and their ab (father) had been over the machanah (camp) of Yahawah (), keepers of the mabawaa (entry).
20 Payanachas (Phinehas) the ban (son) of Alaizar (Eleazar) was nagayad (ruler) over them in panayam (face) past, and Yahawah () was with him.
21 Zakarayah (Zechariah) the ban (son) of Mashalamayah (Meshelemiah) was shawair (porter) of the pathach (door) of the ahal (tent) of Meeting.
22 All these who were barar (chosen) to be shairayam (porters) in the sapayam (thresholds) were two maah (hundred) and shanayam (two). These were yachash (reckoned) by genealogy in their chatzar (villages), whom Dawad (David) and Shamawaal (Samuel) the seer yasad (ordained) in their amawanah (office) of trust.
23 So they and their ban (son) had the oversight of the shairayam (gates) of the bayath (house) of Yahawah (), even the bayath (house) of the ahal (tent), by mashamarawath (wards).
24 On the arabai (four) rawachawath (sides) were the shairayam (porters), toward the mazarach (east), yam (sea/waters), tzapawan (north), and nagab (south).
25 Their ach (brother/kinsman), in their chatzar (villages), were to bawaa (bring) in every shabai (seven) yamayam (days) from ith (time) to ith (time) to be with them:
26 For the arabai (four) gabawar (chief) shairayam (porters), who were Lawayay (Levites), were in an amawanah (office) of trust, and were over the rooms and over the atzarawath (treasuries) in the bayath (house) of Alahayam ().
27 They lawan (lodged) around the bayath (house) of Alahayam (), because that duty was on them; and to them pertained its opening baqar (morning) by morning.
28 Certain of them were in il (over) of the kalay (vessels) of service; for by count were these bawaa (bring) in and by count were these yatzaa (go out / come out) out.
29 Some of them also were manah (appointed) over the kalay (furniture), and over all the kalayam (vessels) of the qadash (set apart / make holy), and over the fine salath (flour), and the yayan (wine), and the shaman (oil), and the labawanah (frankincense), and the bashamayam (spices).
30 Some of the banay (my son) of the kahanayam (priests) raqach (prepared) the confection of the bashamayam (spices).
31 Mathathayah (Mattithiah), one of the Lawayay (Levites), who was the bakawar (firstborn) of Shalawam (peace / safety) the qarachay (korahite), had the amawanah (office) of trust over the things that were baked in chabathayam (pans).
32 Some of their ach (brother/kinsman), of the banay (my son) of the Qahathay (Kohathites), were over the show lacham (bread), to kawan (prepare) it every shabath (shabath / rest).
33 These are the singers, raashay (heads) of abawath (fathers)’ households of the Lawayay (Levites), who lived in the rooms and were patayar (free) from other service; for they were employed in their malaakah (work) yawamam (by day) and layal (night).
34 These were raashay (heads) of abawath (fathers)’ households of the Lawayay (Levites), throughout their thawaladah (generation), raash (head) men: these lived at Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem).
35 In Gabaiwan (Gibeon) there lived the ab (father) of Gabaiwan (Gibeon), Yaiyaal (Jeiel), whose ayashah (woman / wife) sham (name) was Maikah (Maacah):
36 And his bakawar (firstborn) ban (son) Ibadawan (Abdon), and Tzawar (Zur), and Qayash (Kish), and Bail (Baal), and Nar (Ner), and Nadab (Nadab),
37 And Gadar (Gedor), and Achayaw (Ahio), and Zakarayah (Zechariah), and Maqalawath (Mikloth).
38 Maqalawath (Mikloth) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Shamaam (Shimeam). They also lived with their ach (brother/kinsman) in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), over against their ach (brother/kinsman).
39 Nar (Ner) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Qayash (Kish); and Qayash (Kish) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife); and Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Yahawanathan (Jonathan), and Malakayashawai (Malchishua), and Abayanadab (Abinadab), and Ashabail (Eshbaal).
40 The ban (son) of Yahawanathan (Jonathan) was Marayababail (Merib Baal); and Marayababail (Merib Baal) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Mayakah (Micah).
41 The banay (sons) of Mayakah (Micah): Payathawan (Pithon), and malak (king), and Thacharai (Tahrea), and Achaz (Ahaz).
42 Achaz (Ahaz) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Yairah (Jarah); and Yairah (Jarah) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Ilamath (Alemeth), and Izamawath (Azmaveth), and Zamaray (Zimri); and Zamaray (Zimri) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Mawatzaa (Moza);
43 And Mawatzaa (Moza) became the yalad (birth / begot) of Banaia (Binea); and Rapayah (Rephaiah) his ban (son), Alaishah (Eleasah) his ban (son), Atzal (Azel) his ban (son).
44 Atzal (Azel) had shash (six) banayam (sons), whose sham (name) are these: Izarayaqam (Azrikam), Bakaraw (Bocheru), and Yashamaial (Ishmael), and Shairayah (Sheariah), and Ibadayah (Obadiah), and Chanan (showing favor): these were the banayam (sons) of Atzal (Azel).
