1 Yet for all this, we karath (cut) a amanah (sure) covenant, and kathab (write) it; and our shar (prince / ruler), our Lawayay (Levites), and our kahan (priest), chatham (seal) it.”
2 Now those who chatham (sealed) were: Nachamayah (Nehemiah) the governor, the son of Hacaliah, and Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah),
3 Sharayah (Seraiah), Izarayah (Azariah), Yaramayah (Jeremiah),
4 Pashhur, Amarayah (Amariah), Malakayah (Malchijah),
5 Chatawash (Hattush), Shabanayah (Shebaniah), Malawak (Malluch),
6 Charam (Harim), Maramawath (Meremoth), Ibadayah (Obadiah),
7 Danayaal (Daniel), Ganathawan (Ginnethon), Barawak (Baruch),
8 Mashalam (Meshullam), Abayah (Abijah), Mayaman (Mijamin),
9 Maizayah (Maaziah), Balagay (Bilgai), Shamaiyah (Shemaiah); these were the priests.
10 The Lawayay (Levites): namely, Yashawai (Jeshua) the son of Azanayah (Azaniah), Banaway (Binnui) of the sons of Chanadad (Henadad), Qadamayaal (Kadmiel);
11 And their brothers, Shabanayah (Shebaniah), Hawadayah (Hodiah), Qalayataa (Kelita), Palayah (Pelaiah), Hanan,
12 Mica, Rachab (Rehob), Chashabayah (Hashabiah),
13 Zakawar (Zaccur), Sharabayah (Sherebiah), Shabanayah (Shebaniah),
14 Hawadayah (Hodiah), Banay (Bani), Banayanaw (Beninu).
15 The chiefs of the people: Paraish (Parosh), Pachathamawaab (Pahathmoab), Iyalam (Elam), Zathawaa (Zattu), Banay (Bani),
16 Banay (Bunni), Izagad (Azgad), Babay (Bebai),
17 Adanayah (Adonijah), Bagaway (Bigvai), Idayan (Adin),
18 Atar (Ater), Chazaqayah (Hezekiah), Izawar (Azzur),
19 Hawadayah (Hodiah), Chasham (Hashum), Batzay (Bezai),
20 Charayap (Hariph), Inathawath (Anathoth), Nobai,
21 Magapayaish (Magpiash), Mashalam (Meshullam), Chazayar (Hezir),
22 Mashayazabaal (Meshezabel), Tzadawaq (Zadok), Yadawai (Jaddua),
23 Palatayah (Pelatiah), Hanan, Inayah (Anaiah),
24 Hawashai (Hoshea), Chananayah (Hananiah), Chashawab (Hasshub),
25 Lawachash (Hallohesh), Pilha, Shawabaq (Shobek),
26 Rachawam (Rehum), Chashabanah (Hashabnah), Maishayah (Maaseiah),
27 And Achayah (Ahiah), Hanan, Inan (Anan),
28 Malawak (Malluch), Charam (Harim), Bainah (Baanah).
29 The rest of the people, the priests, the Lawayay (Levites), the porters, the singers, the Nethinim, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of Alahayam (), their wives, their sons, and their daughters, everyone who had knowledge, and understanding—
30 They joined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in Alahayam () thawarah (instruction), which was yadai (given) by Mashah (Moses) the ban (son) of Alahayam (), and to observe and do all the commandments of Yahawah () our Adawan (), and his ordinances and his statutes;
31 And that we nathan (give) not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor chazaq (take) their daughters for our sons;
32 And if the imay (peoples) of the aratz (Earth/land) nathan (give) wares or any grain on the Shabath (Sabbath) day to sell, that we would not laqach (take / seize) of them on the Shabath (Sabbath), or on a holy day; and that we would forego the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
33 Also we made yad (hand) for ourselves, to yad (hand) ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the yad (hand) of the house of our Alahayam ();
34 For the show bread, and for the continual meal nathan (give), and for the continual burnt nathan (give), for the Shabath (Sabbaths), for the new moons, for the imad (set) feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Yashar-Al (Israel), and for all the ibadah (work) of the bayath (house) of our Alahayam ().
35 We cast lots, the priests, the Lawayay (Levites), and the people, for the wood manachah (offering), to bring it into the bayath (house) of our Alahayam (), according to our fathers’ bayath (house), at mawaidayam (times) mawaid (Feast/Holy Day), year by year, to burn on the altar of Yahawah () our Alahayam (), as it is written in the law;
36 And to bawaa (come) the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of all kinds of itzayam (trees), shanah (year) by shanah (year), to the bayath (house) of Yahawah ();
37 Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our livestock, as it is written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bawaa (come) to the bayath (house) of our Alahayam (), to the priests who minister in the bayath (house) of our Alahayam ();
38 And that we should bawaa (come) the ban (son) fruits of our dough, and our wave offerings, and the fruit of all kinds of trees, the new wine and the oil, to the kahanayam (priests), to the rooms of the bayath (house) of our Alahayam (); and the tithes of our ground to the Ban (Levites); for they, the Ban (Levites), bawaa (come) the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
39 The kahan (priest) the son of Aharawan (Aaron) shall be with the Lawayay (Levites), when the Lawayay (Levites) ishar (take) tithes: and the Lawayay (Levites) shall bawaa (come) up the maishar (tithe) of the maishar (tithes) to the bayath (house) of our Alahayam (), to the rooms, into the treasure bayath (house).
