Esther 3 — Novel English Bible

Achar (other) these things malak (king) Achashawarawash (Ahasuerus) gadal (promoted) Haman (Haman) the ban (son) of Madathaa (Hammedatha) the agagay (agagite), and nashaa (lift) him, and shawam (place / establish / appoint) his kasaa (seat) above all the sharayam (princes) who were with him.

All the malak (king) ibaday (servant of) who were in the malak (king) shair (gate) karai (bowed) down, and paid homage to Haman (Haman); for the malak (king) had so tzawah (commanded) concerning him. But Maradakay (Mordecai) didn't karai (bow) down or pay him homage.

Then the malak (king) ibaday (servant of), who were in the malak (king) shair (gate), amar (said) to Maradakay (Mordecai), “Why ibar (pass over/through) you disobey the malak (king) matzawah (commandment)?”

Now it came to pass, when they amar (said) yawam (day) to him, and he didn't shamai (hearken / hear) to them, that they nagad (told) Haman (Haman), to raah (see / saw) whether Maradakay (Mordecai's) dabar (word / matter) would imad (stand); for he had nagad (told) them that he was a Yahawaday (Jew).

When Haman (Haman) raah (see / saw) that Maradakay (Mordecai) didn't karai (bow) down, nor pay him homage, Haman (Haman) was malaa (full) of chamah (wrath).

But he bazah (scorned) the iyan (eye) of shalach (send) yad (hand) on Maradakay (Mordecai) nagad (alone), for they had made known to him Maradakay (Mordecai's) im (nation / people). Therefore Haman (Haman) baqash (sought) to shamad (destroy) all the Yahawaday (Jews) who were throughout the whole malakawath (kingdom) of Achashawarawash (Ahasuerus), even Maradakay (Mordecai's) im (nation / people).

In the raashawan (first) chadash (month), which is the chadash (month) Nayasan (Nisan), in the shanayam (two) shanah (year) of malak (king) Achashawarawash (Ahasuerus), they napal (fall / be cast down) Pawar (Pur), that is, the gawaral (lot), panayam (face) Haman (Haman) from yawam (day) to yawam (day), and from chadash (month) to chadash (month), and chose the shanayam (two) chadash (month), which is the month Adar (Adar).

Haman (Haman) amar (said) to malak (king) Achashawarawash (Ahasuerus), “There is a achad (one) imayam (people) pazar (scattered) abroad and parad (dispersed) among the imayam (peoples) in all the madayanawath (provinces) of your malakawath (kingdom), and their dathay (laws) are different than other imayam (peoples). They don't ishah (make) the malak (king) dathay (laws). Therefore it is not for the malak (king) shawah (profit) to allow them to remain.

If it tawab (good / proper function) the malak (king), let it be kathab (write) that they be abad (destroy / perish); and I will shaqal (pay) ishar (ten) alap (thousand) kakar (talents) of kasap (silver) into the yaday (hands) of those who are in ishah (make) of the king's malaakah (business), to bawaa (bring) it into the malak (king) ganazay (treasuries).”

The malak (king) sawar (took) his tabaith (ring) from his yad (hand), and nathan (give) it to Haman (Haman) the ban (son) of Madathaa (Hammedatha) the agagay (agagite), the Yahawaday (Jews)’ tzarar (enemy).

The malak (king) amar (said) to Haman (Haman), “The kasap (silver) is nathan (give) to you, the im (nation / people) also, to ishah (make) with them as it seems tawab (good / proper function) to you.”

Then the malak (king) saparay (scribes) were qaraa (called) in on the raashawan (first) chadash (month), on the thirteenth yawam (day) of the chadash (month); and all that Haman (Haman) tzawah (commanded) was written to the malak (king) satraps, and to the pachawath (governors) who were over every madayanah (province), and to the sharay (princes) of every im (nation / people), to every madayanah (province) according its kathab (write), and to every im (nation / people) in their lashawan (tongue / language). It was kathab (write) in the sham (name) of malak (king) Achashawarawash (Ahasuerus), and it was chatham (sealed) with the malak (king) tabaith (ring).

Saparayam (letters) were shalach (send) by couriers into all the malak (king) madayanawath (provinces), to shamad (destroy), to harag (kill), and to cause to shamad (perish), all Yahawaday (Jews), both nair (young) and zaqan (old), little tap (children) and nashayam (women), in achad (one) yawam (day), even on the thirteenth yawam (day) of the shanayam (two) chadash (month), which is the chadash (month) Adar (Adar), and to plunder their shalal (possessions).

A parashagan (copy) of the letter, that the dath (decree) should be nathan (give) out in every madayanah (province), was galah (published) to all the imayam (peoples), that they should be ithayad (ready) against that yawam (day).

The couriers yatzaa (go out / come out) forth in dachap (haste) by the malak (king) commandment, and the dath (decree) was nathan (give) out in the citadel of Shawashan (Susa). The malak (king) and Haman (Haman) yashab (inhabit/dwell) down to shathah (drinks); but the iyar (city) of Shawashan (Shushan) was perplexed.
