1 Ayawab (Job) again took up his mashal (parable), and amar (said),
2 “Oh that I were as in the yarachay (months) of qadam (old), as in the yamay (days) when Alawah () shamar (keep/guard) over me;
3 When his nayar (lamp) halal (praise) on my raash (head), and by his awar (light) I yalak (walked) through chashak (darkness),
4 As I was in the ripeness of my yamay (days), when the friendship of Alawah () was in my ahal (tent),
5 When the Shaday () was yet with me, and my nair (children) were around me,
6 When my halayak (steps) were rachatz (washed) with chamaah (butter), and the tzawar (rock) tzawaq (poured) out palagay (streams) of shaman (oil) for me,
7 When I yatzaa (go out / come out) forth to the qarath (city) shair (gate), when I kawan (prepared) my mawashab (seat) in the rachab (street).
8 The nair (young) men raah (see / saw) me and chabaa (hid) themselves. The yashayash (aged) qawam (rise up) up and imad (stood).
9 The sharayam (princes) itzar (refrained) from malah (talking), and shawam (place / establish / appoint) their kap (hand) on their pah (mouth).
10 The chabaa (voice) of the nagayadayam (nobles) was hushed, and their lashawan (tongue / language) dabaq (stuck) to the roof of their chak (mouth).
11 For when the azan (ear) shamai (hearken / hear) me, then it ashar (who/that) me; and when the iyan (eye) raah (see / saw) me, it commended me:
12 Because I malat (delivered) the inay (poor) who shawai (cried), and the yathawam (fatherless) also, who had none to izar (help) him,
13 The barakah (blessing) of him who was ready to abad (destroy / perish) bawaa (bring) on me, and I caused the alamanah (widow's) lab (heart) to ranan (sing) for joy.
14 I labash (put) on tzadaq (righteous / just / fair), and it labash (clothed) me. My mashapat (justice) was as a maiyal (robe) and a tzanayap (diadem).
15 I was iyanayam (eyes) to the iwar (blind), and ragalayam (feet) to the pasach (lame).
16 I was a ab (father) to the abayawan (needy). The rayab (cause) of him who I didn't yadai (know), I chaqar (searched) out.
17 I shabar (broke) the mathalaiwath (jaws) of the iwal (unrighteous), and shalak (plucked) the tarap (prey) out of his shan (teeth).
18 Then I amar (said), ‘I shall gawai (die) in my own qan (house), I shall number my yamayam (days) as the chawal (sand).
19 My sharash (root) is spread out to the mayam (Waters). The tal (dew) lies all lawan (night) on my qatzayar (branch).
20 My kabawad (glory) is chadash (fresh) in me. My qashath (bow) is chalap (renewed) in my yad (hand).’
21 “Men listened to me, yachal (waited), and damam (kept) silence for my itzah (counsel).
22 Achar (other) my dabar (word / matter) they didn't shanah (speak) again. My speech fell on them.
23 They yachal (waited) for me as for the matar (rain). Their pah (mouths) drank as with the spring malaqawash (rain).
24 I smiled on them when they had no confidence. They didn't reject the awar (light) of my panayam (face).
25 I bachar (chose) out their darak (way), and yashab (inhabit/dwell) as raash (head). I lived as a malak (king) in the gadawad (army), as one who nacham (turn away / repent) the mourners.
