1 Ashar (who/that) is the ayash (man / husband) who doesn't halak (move) in the itzah (counsel) of the rashai (wicked), nor imad (stand) in the darak (way) of chataayam (sinners), nor yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the mawashab (seat) of latzayam (scoffers);
2 but his chapatz (delight) is in Yahawah’s thawarah (instruction). On Yah's thawarah (instruction), he hagah (meditates) yawamam (day) and layal (night).
3 He will be like a itz (tree) shathal (planted) by the palagay (streams) of mayam (Waters), that nathan (give) forth its paray (fruit) in its ith (season), whose ilah (leaf) also nabal (does) not wither. Whatever he ishah (make) shall tzalach (prosper).
4 The rashai (wicked) are laa (not) so, but are instead hamah (like) matz (chaff) which is driven away by Rawach (spirit/wind).
5 Therefore the rashai (wicked) shall not qawam (rise up) in the mashapat (judgment), nor chataayam (sinners) in the idah (congregation) of the tzadayaq (righteous).
6 For Yahawah () yadai (knows) the darak (way) of the tzadayaq (righteous), but the darak (way) of the rashai (wicked) shall abad (destroy / perish).
