5 You hem me in achawar (behind) and qadam (before). You shayath (put / appoint / make) your kap (hand) on me.
6 This daith (knowledge) is beyond me. It's shagab (lofty). I can't yakal (attain) it.
7 Where could I yalak (go) from your rawach (spirit / wind)? Or where could I barach (flee) from your panayam (face)?
8 If I nasaq (ascend) up into shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens), you are there. If I yatzai (make) my bed in shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), behold, you are there!
9 If I nashaa (lift) the kanapay (wings) of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the yam (sea/waters);
10 Even there your yad (hand) will nachah (lead) me, and your right yamayan (right hand) will achaz (hold) me.
11 If I amar (said), “Surely the chashak (darkness) will overwhelm me; the awar (light) around me will be layal (night);”
12 Even the chashak (darkness) doesn't chashak (darkness) from you, but the layal (night) awar (light) as the yawam (day). The chashakah (darkness) is like awarah (light) to you.
13 For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my am (mother) batan (womb).
14 I will give yadah (thanks) to you, for I am fearfully and palah (wonderfully) made. Your maishah (works) are palaa (be wonderful / extraordinary / marvelous). My napash (soul) yadai (knows) that very maad (well).
15 My frame wasn't kachad (hidden) from you, when I was ishah (make) in sathar (secret / hidden), woven together in the depths of the aratz (Earth/land).
16 Your iyan (eye) raah (see / saw) my body. In your sapar (book / scribed document) they were all kathab (write), the yamayam (days) that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
17 How yaqar (precious) to me are your rai (thoughts), Al! How vast is their raash (head)!
18 If I would sapar (book) them, they are more in number than the chawal (sand). When I qawatz (wake) up, I am still with you.
19 If only you, Alawah (), would qatal (kill) the rashai (wicked). Sawar (get) away from me, you bloodthirsty anashay (men)!
20 For they amar (said) against you mazamah (wickedly). Your ir (enemies) nashaa (lift) your name in shawaa (vanity).
21 Yahawah (), don't I shanaa (hate) those who shanaa (hate) you? Am I not grieved with those who thaqawamam (rise) up against you?
22 I shanaa (hate) them with thakalayath (perfect) hatred. They have become my awayabayam (enemies).
23 Chaqar (search) me, Al, and yadai (know) my labab (heart). Bachan (try) me, and yadai (know) my sharaip (thoughts).
24 Raah (see / saw) if there is any itzab (wicked) darak (way) in me, and nachah (lead) me in the iwalam (eternity) darak (way).
