1 Shamai (hearken / hear) my thapalah (prayer), Yahawah (). Listen to my petitions. In your amawanah (faithfulness) and tzadaqah (righteousness), relieve me.
2 Don't bawaa (bring) into mashapat (judgment) with your ibad (servant), for in your panayam (face) no man chay (life) is tzadaq (righteous / just / fair).
3 For the ayab (enemy) radap (pursues) my napash (soul). He has struck my chay (life) down to the aratz (Earth/land). He has yashab (inhabit/dwell) me live in machashak (dark) places, as those who have been iwalam (eternity) mawath (death).
4 Therefore my rawach (spirit / wind) is itap (overwhelmed) within me. My lab (heart) thawak (midst) me is shamam (desolate).
5 I zakar (remember) the yamayam (days) of qadam (old). I hagah (meditate) on all your pail (doings). I contemplate the pail (work) of your yad (hand).
6 I parash (spread) forth my yad (hand) to you. My napash (soul) thirsts for you, like a parched aratz (Earth/land). Salah (selah).
7 Hurry to inah (answer / respond) me, Yahawah (). My rawach (spirit / wind) kalah (complete / finish). Don't sathar (hide) your panayam (face) from me, so that I don't mashal (speak in proverb/parable) like those who yarad (go) down into the bawar (pit).
8 Shamai (hearken / hear) me to hear your loving chasad (grace) in the baqar (morning), for I batach (trust) in you. Yadai (cause) me to know the darak (way) in which I should yalak (walk), for I nashaa (lift) up my napash (soul) to you.
9 Natzal (deliver) me, Yahawah (), from my ayab (enemy). I flee to you to kasah (hide) me.
10 Lamad (teach / instruct) me to ishah (make) your ratzawan (will), for you are my Alahayam (). Your rawach (spirit / wind) is tawab (good / proper function). Nachah (lead) me in the aratz (Earth/land) of mayashawar (uprightness).
11 Chayah (revive) me, Yahawah (), for your sham (name) sake. In your tzadaqah (righteousness), yatzaa (go out / come out) my napash (soul) out of tzarah (trouble).
12 In your loving chasad (grace), tzamath (cut) off my ayab (enemy), and abad (destroy / perish) all those who tzarar (afflict) my napash (soul), For I am your ibad (servant).
