3 Because of the qawal (sound / voice) of the ayab (enemy), panayam (face) of the iqah (oppression) of the rashai (wicked). For they bring suffering on me. In ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) they hold a grudge shatam (against) me.
4 My lab (heart) is severely chawal (pained) qarab (among / near) me. The ayamawath (terrors) of mawath (death) napal (fall / be cast down) fallen on me.
5 Yaraah (fearfulness) and raid (trembling) bawaa (bring) come on me. Palatzawath (horror) has kasah (overwhelmed) me.
6 I amar (said), “Oh that I had abar (wings) like a yawanah (dove)! Then I would iwap (flying) away, and be at shakan (place).
7 Behold, then I would nadad (wander) rachaq (far) off. I would lawan (lodge) in the madabar (wilderness). Salah (selah).”
8 “I would hurry to a shelter from the stormy rawach (spirit / wind) and saih (storm).”
9 Confuse them, Adanay (), and palag (confound) their lashawan (tongue / language), for I raah (see) seen chamas (violence) and rayab (strife) in the iyar (city).
10 Yawamam (by day) and layal (night) they prowl around on its chawamah (walls). Malice and abuse are also qarab (among / near) her.
11 Destructive forces are qarab (among / near) her. Threats and lies don't depart from her rachab (streets).
12 For it was not an ayab (enemy) who insulted me, then I could have endured it. Neither was it he who shanaa (hate) me who raised himself up against me, then I would have sathar (hidden) myself from him.
13 But it was you, a anawash (man) like me, my companion, and my yadai (familiar) friend.
14 We mathaq (took) sweet fellowship yachad (together). We halak (move) in Alahayam () bayath (house) with ragash (company).
15 Let yashayamah (death) come suddenly on them. Yarad (let) them go down chay (life) into shaawal (Sheol / afterlife). For rai (wickedness) is in their magawar (dwelling), in their qarab (among / near).
16 As for me, I will qaraa (called) on Alahayam (). Yahawah () will yashai (salvation) me.
17 Irab (evening), baqar (morning), and at tzahar (noon), I will cry out in distress. He will shamai (hearken / hear) my qawal (sound / voice).
18 He has padah (redeemed) my napash (soul) in shalawam (peace / safety) from the qarab (battle) that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.
19 Al, who is enthroned qadam (forever), will shamai (hearken / hear), and inah (oppress / afflict) them. Salah (selah). They never chalayapah (change), who don't yaraa (fear / be afraid) Alahayam ().

22 Shalak (cast) your yahab (burden) on Yahawah (), and he will kawal (all) you. He will iwalam (forever) allow the tzadayaq (righteous) to be mawat (moved).
23 But you, Alahayam (), will yarad (bring) them down into the baar (pit) of shachath (destruction). Bloodthirsty and deceitful anashay (men) shall not chatzah (live) out half their yawam (day), but I will batach (trust) in you.
