Psalms 61 — Novel English Bible

Shamai (hearken / hear) my ranah (cry), Alahayam (). Listen to my thapalah (prayer).

From the qatzah (end / extremity / border) of the aratz (Earth/land), I will qaraa (called) to you, when my lab (heart) is itap (overwhelmed). Nachah (lead) me to the tzawar (rock) that is higher than I.

For you have been a machasah (refuge) for me, a iz (strength / might / refuge) magadal (tower) from the ayab (enemy).

I will gawar (dwell) in your ahal (tent) iwalam (eternity). I will take chasah (refuge) in the shelter of your kanap (wings). Salah (selah).

For you, Alahayam (), have shamai (hearken / hear) my nadar (vow). You nathan (give) given me the yarashah (heritage) of those who yaraa (fear) your sham (name).

You will yasap (prolong) the malak (king) yawam (day); his shanah (years) shall be for dawar (generation / age / period).

He shall be enthroned in Alahayam () panayam (face) iwalam (forever). Appoint your loving chasad (grace) and amath (truth), that they may natzar (preserve) him.

So I will zamar (sing) praise to your sham (name) id (until / as far as), that I may fulfill my nadar (vow) yawam (day).
