Psalms 80 — Novel English Bible

2 Panayam (face) Aparayam (Ephraim) and Banayamayan (Benjamin) and Manashah (Manasseh), iwar (rouse / awaken) up your gabawarah (might)! Yalak (come) to yashawaih (salvation) us!

3 Shawab (turn back / repent) us again, Alahayam (). Cause your panayam (face) to awar (light), and we will be yashai (salvation).

4 Yahawah () Alahayam () of tzabaawath (armies), How long will you be ishan (angry) against the thapalah (prayer) of your im (nation / people)?

5 You have akal (eat) them with the lacham (bread) of damaiwath (tears), and given them damaiwath (tears) to shaqah (drink) in large shalayash (measure).

6 You shawam (place / establish / appoint) us a source of madawan (contention) to our neighbors. Our ayab (enemy) laig (laugh) among themselves.

7 Shawab (turn back / repent) us again, Alahayam () of tzabaawath (armies). Cause your panayam (face) to awar (light), and we will be yashai (salvation).

9 You cleared the panayam (face) for it. It took sharash (deep) sharash (root), and malaa (filled) the aratz (Earth/land).

10 The harayam (mountains) were kasah (covered) with its tzal (shadow). Its inap (boughs) were like Al arazay (cedars).

11 It shalach (send) out its branches to the yam (sea/waters), Its shoots to the nahar (river).

12 Why have you paratz (broken) down its gadar (walls), so that ibar (pass over/through) those who pass by the darak (way) arah (pluck) it?

13 The chazayar (boar) out of the yair (wood) ravages it. The zayaz (wild) animals of the shadah (field) raih (feed) on it.

14 Shawab (turn back / repent) again, we beg you, Alahayam () of tzabaawath (armies). Nabat (look) down from shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens), and raah (see), and paqad (visit) this gapan (vine),

15 The stock which your right yamayan (right hand) natai (planted), the ban (son) that you amatz (made) strong for yourself.

16 It's sharap (burned) with ash (fire). It's kasach (cut) down. They abad (destroy / perish) at your gairah (rebuke).

17 Let your yad (hand) be on the ayash (man / husband) of your right yamayan (right hand), on the ban (son) of adam (man) whom you amatz (made) strong for yourself.

18 So we will not sawag (turn) away from you. Chayah (revive) us, and we will qaraa (called) on your sham (name).

19 Shawab (turn back / repent) us again, Yahawah () Alahayam () of tzabaawath (armies). Cause your panayam (face) to awar (light), and we will be yashai (salvation).
