Psalms 85 — Novel English Bible

1 Yahawah (), you ratzah (have) been favorable to your aratz (Earth/land). You have shawab (turn back / repent) the fortunes of Yaiqab (Jacob).

2 You have nashaa (lift) the iwan (guilt/iniquity) of your im (nation / people). You have kasah (covered) all their chataah (sin). Salah (selah).

3 You have asap (taken) away all your ibarah (wrath). You have shawab (turn) from the charawan (fierceness) of your ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting).

4 Shawab (turn back / repent) us, Alahayam () of our yashai (salvation), and cause your kais (indignation) toward us to parar (cease).

5 Will you be anap (angry) with us iwalam (eternity)? Will you mashak (draw) out your ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) to all dawar (generation / age / period)?

6 Won't you chayah (revive) us again, that your im (nation / people) may shamach (rejoice) in you?

7 Show us your loving chasad (grace), Yahawah (). Nathan (give) us your yashai (salvation).

11 Amath (truth) tzamach (springs) out of the aratz (Earth/land). Tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) has shaqap (looked) down from shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens).

12 Yes, Yahawah () will nathan (give) that which is tawab (good / proper function). Our aratz (Earth/land) will nathan (give) its yabawal (increase).

13 Tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) halak (move) panayam (face) him, And prepares the darak (way) for his paim (steps).
