Psalms 97 — Novel English Bible

1 Yahawah () malak (king)! Let the aratz (Earth/land) gayal (rejoice)! Let the rab (multitude) of ayayam (islands) be shamach (glad)!

2 Inan (cloud) and irapal (darkness) are around him. Tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) and mashapat (justice) are the makawan (foundation) of his kasaa (throne).

3 A ash (fire) yalak (goes) panayam (face) him, and lahat (burns) up his tzar (oppressor / distressor) on sabayab (surrounding) side.

4 His baraq (lightning) haayaraw (lights) up the thabal (world). The thabal (earth) raah (see / saw), and chawal (trembles).

5 The harayam (mountains) masas (melt) like dawanag (wax) at the panayam (face) of Yahawah (), at the panayam (face) of the Adawan () of the whole aratz (Earth/land).

6 The shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens) nagad (declare) his tzadaq (righteous / just / fair). All the imayam (peoples) raah (see / saw) seen his kabawad (glory).

11 Awar (light) is zarai (sown) for the tzadayaq (righteous), and shamachah (gladness) for the yashar (upright) in lab (heart).

12 Be shamach (glad) in Yahawah (), you tzadayaq (righteous) people! Give hawadaw (thanks) to his qadash (set apart / make holy) zakar (remember).
