Proverbs 3 — Novel English Bible

My ban (son), don't shakach (forget) my teaching; but let your lab (heart) natzar (keep) my matzawah (commandments):

For arak (length) of yamayam (days), and shanawath (years) of chay (life), and shalawam (peace / safety), will they yasap (add) to you.

Don't let chasad (grace) and amath (truth) izab (forsake) you. Qashar (bind) them around your garagarawath (neck). Kathab (write) them on the tablet of your lab (heart).

So you will matzaa (find) favor, and tawab (good / proper function) shakal (understanding) in the iyan (eye) of Alahayam () and adam (man).

Batach (trust) in Yahawah () with all your lab (heart), and don't shain (lean) on your own bayanah (understanding).

In all your darak (ways) yadai (acknowledge) him, and he will make your arach (paths) yashar (upright).

Don't be chakam (wise) in your own iyan (eye). Yaraa (fear / be afraid) Yahawah (), and sawar (depart) from rai (evil).

It will be rapaawath (health) to your body, and nourishment to your itzam (bones).

Honor Yahawah () with your hawan (substance), with the raashayath (beginning) fruits of all your thabawaah (increase):

So your asam (barns) will be malaa (filled) with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new thayarawash (wine).

My ban (son), don't maas (despise) Yahawah () mawasar (discipline), neither be qawatz (weary) of his thawakachah (reproof):

For whom Yahawah () ahab (love), he yakach (reproves); even as a ab (father) reproves the ban (son) in whom he ratzah (delights).

Ashar (who/that) is the adam (man) who matzaa (finds) chakamah (wisdom), the adam (man) who pawaq (gets) thabawan (understanding).

For her sachar (good) profit is tawab (good / proper function) than getting kasap (silver), and her thabawaah (return) is better than fine charawatz (gold).

She is more yaqar (precious) than panayayam (rubies). None of the things you can chapatz (desire) are to be shawah (compared) to her.

Arak (length) of yamayam (days) is in her right yamayan (right hand). In her left shamaawal (left hand) are riches and honor.

Her darak (ways) are darak (ways) of naim (pleasantness). All her nathayab (paths) are shalawam (peace / safety).

She is a itz (tree) of chay (life) to those who lay chazaq (hold) of her. Ashar (who/that) is everyone who thamak (retains) her.

By chakamah (wisdom) Yahawah () founded the aratz (Earth/land). By chakamah (understanding), he kawan (established) the shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens).

By his daith (knowledge), the thahawamawath (depths) were baqai (broken) up, and the shachaqayam (skies) raip (drop) down the tal (dew).

My ban (son), let them not depart from your iyan (eye). Natzar (keep) sound thawashayah (wisdom) and discretion:

So they will be chay (life) to your napash (soul), and chan (favor) for your garagarawath (neck).

Then you shall yalak (walk) in your darak (way) securely. Your ragal (feet / foot) won't nagap (stumble).

When you shakab (lie) down, you will not be pachad (fear / dread). Yes, you will shakab (lie) down, and your shanah (sleep) will be irab (evening).

Don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) of pathaawam (sudden) pachad (fear / dread), neither of the shawaa (vanity) of the rashai (wicked), when it bawaa (bring):

For Yahawah () will be your kasal (confidence), and will shamar (keep/guard) your ragal (feet / foot) from lakad (being) taken.

Don't manai (withhold) tawab (good / proper function) from bail (those) to whom it is due, when it is in the al (toward) of your yad (hand) to ishah (make) it.

Don't amar (said) to your neighbor, “yalak (go), and shawab (turn) again; machar (tomorrow) I will nathan (give) it to you,” when you yash (have) it by you.

Don't charash (devise) rai (evil) against your neighbor, since he yashab (inhabit/dwell) securely by you.

Don't rayab (strive) with a adam (man) chanam (without) cause, if he has gamal (done) you no rai (harm).

Don't qanaa (jealous) the ayash (man / husband) of violence. Bachar (choose) none of his darak (ways).

For the lawaz (perverse) is an thawaibah (abomination) to Yahawah (), but his friendship is with the yashar (upright).

Yahawah () maarah (curse) is in the bayath (house) of the rashai (wicked), but he blesses the nawah (habitation) of the tzadayaq (righteous).

Surely he latzayam (mocks) the latzayam (mockers), but he nathan (give) chan (favor) to the inay (humble).

The chakam (wise) will nachal (inherit) kabawad (glory), but qalawan (shame) will be the rawam (will lift up) of kasayalayam (fools).
