Isaiah 14 — Novel English Bible

For Yahawah () will racham (show mercy / love) compassion on Yaiqab (Jacob), and will yet bachar (choose) Yashar-Al (Israel), and yanach (set) them in their own adamah (land). The foreigner will lawah (join) himself with them, and they will unite with the bayath (house) of Yaiqab (Jacob).

The imayam (peoples) will laqach (take / seize) them, and bawaa (come) them to their maqawam (place). The bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel) will nachal (possess) them in Yahawah () adamah (land) for ibadayam (servants) and for handmaids. They will shabah (take) as captives those whose shabayam (captives) they were; and they shall radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue) over their nagash (oppressors).

It will happen in the yawam (day) that Yahawah () will give you nawach (rest) from your itzab (sorrow), from your trouble, and from the qashah (rough / hard) ibadah (service) in which you were made to ibad (servant),

That you will nashaa (lift) up this mashal (parable) against the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon), and amar (said), “How the nagash (oppressor) has shabath (shabath / rest)! The madahabah (golden) city has shabath (shabath / rest)!”

Yahawah () has shabar (broken) the matah (staff / rod / tribe) of the rashai (wicked), the scepter of the mashalayam (rulers),

Who nakah (struck) the imayam (peoples) in ibarah (wrath) with a balathay (without) makah (stroke), who radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue) the gawayam (heathen) in ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting), with a persecution that balay (none) restrained.

The whole aratz (Earth/land) is at nawach (rest), and is shaqat (quiet). They patzach (break) out song.

Yes, the barawash (fir) trees shamach (rejoice) with you, with the arazay (cedars) of Labanawan (Lebanon), saying, “Since you are humbled, no lumberjack has ilah (go up / offer) up against us.”

Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) from beneath has ragaz (moved) for you to qaraah (meet) you at your bawaa (bring). It iwar (rouse / awaken) up the rapaa (dead) for you, even all the ithawaday (rulers) of the aratz (Earth/land). It has qawam (rise up) up from their kasaa (thrones) all the malakay (kings) of the gawayam (heathen).

They all will inah (answer / respond) and ask you, “Have you also become as chalah (afflict) as we are? Have you mashal (speak in proverb/parable) like us?”

Your gaawan (pomp) is yarad (brought) down to shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), with the sound of your stringed instruments. Maggots are yatzai (spread) out under you, and ramah (worms) makasah (cover) you.

How you napal (fall / be cast down) fallen from shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens), morning hayalal (star), ban (son) of the dawn! How you are gadai (cut) down to the aratz (Earth/land), who laid the gawayam (heathen) low!

You amar (said) in your labab (heart), “I will ilah (go up / offer) into shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens)! I will rawam (will lift up) my kasaa (throne) mail (top/above) the kawakabay (stars) of Al! I will yashab (inhabit/dwell) on the har (mountain) of mawaid (Feast/Holy Day), in the far tzapawan (north)!

I will ilah (go up / offer) above the bamathay (heights) of the ib (clouds)! I will make myself damah (like) the Most ilayawan (Most High)!”

Yet you shall be yarad (brought) down to shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), to the depths of the bawar (pit).

Those who raah (see / saw) you will stare at you. They will ponder you, saying, “Is this the ayash (man / husband) who made the aratz (Earth/land) to ragaz (tremble), who raish (shook) mamalakawath (kingdoms);

Who shawam (place / establish / appoint) the thabal (world) like a madabar (wilderness), and overthrew its iyar (cities); who didn't release his asayar (prisoners) to their bayath (house)?”

All the malakay (kings) of the gawayam (heathen), sleep in kabawad (glory), everyone in his own bayath (house).

But you are shalak (cast) away from your tomb like an thaib (abominable) natzar (branch), labawash (clothed) with the harag (kill), who are tain (thrust) through with the charab (sword), who yarad (go) down to the abanay (stones) of the bawar (pit); like a pagar (dead) body bawas (trodden) under foot.

You will not yachad (join) them in qabawarah (burial), because you have shachath (destroyed) your aratz (Earth/land). You have harag (kill) your im (nation / people). The zarai (seed) of evildoers will not be qaraa (called) iwalam (eternity).

Kawan (prepare) for matabach (slaughter) of his ban (son) because of the iwan (guilt/iniquity) of their ab (father), that they not qawam (rise up) up and yarash (possess) the aratz (Earth/land), and malaa (fill) the surface of the thabal (world) with cities.

“I will qawam (rise up) up against them,” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), “and karath (cut) off from Babal (Babylon) sham (name) and shaar (remnant), and nayan (son) and nakad (son's) son, naam (declares prophetically),” Yahawah ().

“I will also shawam (place / establish / appoint) it a mawarash (possession) for the porcupine, and agamay (pools) of mayam (Waters). I will tawaa (sweep) it with the broom of destruction,” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies).

Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies) has shabai (swear / take oath), amar (spoke), “Surely, as I have damah (thought), so shall it happen; and as I have yaitz (purposed), so shall it qawam (rise up):

That I will shabar (break) the Ashawar (Assyrian) in my aratz (Earth/land), and bawas (tread) him under foot on my har (mountain). Then his il (over) will sawar (leave) them, and his sabal (burden) sawar (leave) their shakam (shoulders).

This is the plan that is yaitz (determined) for the whole aratz (Earth/land). This is the yad (hand) that is natah (stretched) out over all the gawayam (heathen).

For Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies) has planned, and who can stop it? His yad (hand) is natah (stretched) out, and who can shawab (turn back / repent) it back?”

This mashaa (burden) was in the shanah (year) that malak (king) Achaz (Ahaz) mawath (death).

Don't shamach (rejoice), O Palashath (Philistia), all of you, because the shabat (rod) that nakah (struck) you is shabar (broken); for out of the nachash (serpent's) sharash (root) an tzapai (adder) will emerge, and his paray (fruit) will be a sharap (fiery) iwap (flying) serpent.

The bakawar (firstborn) of the dal (poor) will raih (eat), and the abayawan (needy) will rabatz (lie) down in safety; and I will mawath (death) your sharash (root) with raib (famine), and your shaarayath (remnant) will be harag (kill).

Yalal (howl), shair (gate)! Zaiq (cry), iyar (city)! You are mawag (melted) away, Palashath (Philistia), all of you; for ishan (smoke) bawaa (bring) out of the tzapawan (north), and there is no straggler in his ranks.

What will they inah (answer / respond) the malaakay (messengers) of the gaway (heathen / nation)? That Yahawah () has founded Tzayawan (Zion), and in her the inay (afflicted) of his im (nation / people) will take chasah (refuge).
