2 It will be as with the im (nation / people), so with the kahan (priest); as with the ibad (servant), so with his adawan (master / lord); as with the shapachah (maid), so with her gabarath (mistress); as with the qanah (buyer), so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the nashaa (lift) of interest.
3 The aratz (Earth/land) will be baqaq (utterly) baqaq (emptied) and bazaz (utterly) laid waste; for Yahawah () has dabar (word / matter) this dabar (word / matter).
4 The aratz (Earth/land) abal (mourns) and nabal (fades) away. The thabal (world) amal (languishes) and nabal (fades) away. The lofty im (people) of the aratz (Earth/land) amal (languish).
5 The aratz (Earth/land) also is chanap (polluted) under its yashab (inhabit/dwell), because they ibar (pass over/through) transgressed the thawarath (laws), violated the chaq (statute), and parar (broken) the iwalam (eternity) barayath (covenant).
6 Therefore the alah (these) has akal (eat) the aratz (Earth/land), and those who yashab (inhabit/dwell) therein are asham (found) guilty. Therefore the yashabay (inhabitants) of the aratz (Earth/land) are charar (burned), and mazair (few) anawash (men) shaar (left).
7 The new thayarawash (wine) abal (mourns). The gapan (vine) languishes. All the shamach (merry-hearted) anach (sigh).
8 The mashawash (mirth) of tambourines shabath (shabath / rest). The sound of those who ilayaz (rejoice) chadal (ends). The mashawash (joy) of the kanawar (harp) shabath (shabath / rest).
9 They will not shathah (drinks) yayan (wine) with a shayar (song). Shakar (strong) drink will be marar (bitter) to those who shathah (drinks) it.
10 The confused qarayah (city / town) is shabar (broken) down. Every bayath (house) is sagar (shut) up, that no man may bawaa (bring) in.
11 There is a tzawachah (crying) in the chawatzawath (streets) because of the yayan (wine). All shamachah (joy) is irab (evening). The mashawash (mirth) of the aratz (Earth/land) is galah (gone).
12 The iyar (city) is shaar (left) in shamah (desolation), and the shair (gate) is struck with shaayah (destruction).
13 For it will be so in the qarab (among / near) of the aratz (Earth/land) thawak (midst) the imayam (peoples), as the naqap (shaking) of an zayath (olive) tree, as the gleanings when the batzayar (vintage) is kalah (complete / finish).
14 These shall nashaa (lift) up their qawal (sound / voice). They will ranan (shout) for the gaawan (majesty) of Yahawah (). They tzahal (cry) aloud from the yam (sea/waters).
15 Therefore kabad (glorify) Yahawah () in the east, even the sham (name) of Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), in the ayay (islands) of the yam (sea/waters)!
16 From the kanap (uttermost) part of the aratz (Earth/land) have we shamai (hearken / hear) zamarath (song). Glory to the tzadayaq (righteous)! But I amar (said), “I pine away! I pine away! Away (woe) is me!” The bagad (treacherous) have dealt bagad (treacherously). Yes, the bagad (treacherous) have dealt very bagad (treacherously).
17 Pachad (fear / dread), the pachath (pit), and the pach (snare / trap), are on you who yashab (inhabit/dwell) the aratz (Earth/land).
18 It will happen that he who nawas (flees) from the qawal (sound / voice) of the pachad (fear / dread) will napal (fall / be cast down) into the pachath (pit); and he who ilah (go up / offer) up out of the thawak (midst) of the pachath (pit) will be lakad (taken) in the pach (snare / trap); for the arabawath (windows) on marawam (high) are pathach (opened), and the mawasaday (foundations) of the aratz (Earth/land) raish (tremble).
19 The aratz (Earth/land) is utterly raii (wicked / dysfunctional / evil). The aratz (Earth/land) is torn apart. The aratz (Earth/land) is mawat (shaken) violently.
20 The aratz (Earth/land) will nawai (stagger) like a shakawar (drunken) nawai (man), and will sway back and forth like a hammock. Its disobedience will be kabad (heavy) on it, and it will napal (fall / be cast down) and not qawam (rise up) again.
21 It shall happen in that yawam (day) that Yahawah () will paqad (visit) the tzabaa (troop) of the marawam (high) ones on marawam (high), and the malakay (kings) of the adamah (earth) on the adamah (earth).
22 They shall be asap (gathered) together, as asayar (prisoners) are gathered in the bawar (pit), and shall be sagar (shut) up in the masagar (prison); and after many yamayam (days) shall they be paqad (visit).
23 Then the labanah (moon) shall be chapar (confounded), and the chamah (sun) bawash (ashamed); for Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies) will malak (king) on har (mountain) Tzayawan (Zion), and in Yarawashalam (Jerusalem); and before his zaqan (elders) will be kabawad (glory).
