Isaiah 3 — Novel English Bible

For, behold, the Adawan (), Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), sawar (takes) away from Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) and from Yahawadah (Judah) supply and support, the whole supply of lacham (bread), and the kal (every) supply of mayam (Waters);

The gabawar (mighty) man, the ayash (man / husband) of malachamah (war), the shapat (judge / judgement), the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), the diviner, the zaqan (elder),

The shar (prince / ruler) of chamashayam (fifty), the nashaa (lift) panayam (face), the yaitz (counselor), the skilled craftsman, and the clever enchanter.

I will nathan (give) nairayam (boys) to be their shar (prince / ruler), and nairayam (children) shall mashal (rule/have dominion) over them.

The im (nation / people) will be nagash (oppressed), everyone by ayash (man / husband), and everyone by his neighbor. The nair (child) will rahab (behave) himself proudly against the zaqan (old) man, and the qalah (base) against the honorable.

Indeed a ayash (man / husband) shall thapash (take) hold of his ach (brother/kinsman) in the bayath (house) of his ab (father), saying, “You have shamalah (clothing), you be our qatzayan (ruler), and let this makashalah (ruin) be under your yad (hand).”

In that yawam (day) he will cry out, amar (said), “I will not be a chabash (healer); for in my bayath (house) is neither lacham (bread) nor shamalah (clothing). You shall not shawam (place / establish / appoint) me qatzayan (ruler) of the im (nation / people).”

For Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) is kashal (stumble / stagger), and Yahawadah (Judah) is napal (fall / be cast down); because their lashawan (tongue / language) and their mailal (doings) are against Yahawah (), to marah (provoke) the inay (eyes) of his kabawad (glory).

The look of their panayam (face) inah (answer / respond) against them. They parade their chataah (sin) like Sadam (Sodom). They don't kachad (hide) it. Away (woe) to their napash (soul)! For they have brought disaster upon themselves.

Amar (said) the tzadayaq (righteous) “tawab (good / proper function)!” For they shall akal (eat) the paray (fruit) of their deeds.

Away (woe) to the rashai (wicked)! Disaster is upon them; for the deeds of his yad (hand) will be paid back to him.

As for my im (nation / people), ilal (children) are their nagash (oppressors), and nashayam (women) mashal (rule/have dominion) over them. My im (nation / people), those who ashar (who/that) you thaih (cause) you to err, and balai (destroy) the darak (way) of your arach (paths).

Yahawah () natzab (stands) up to rayab (contend), and imad (stands) to dayan (judge) the imayam (peoples).

Yahawah () will bawaa (come) into mashapat (judgment) with the zaqanay (elders) of his im (nation / people), and their leaders: “It is you who have bair (eaten) up the karam (vineyard). The gazalah (spoil) of the inay (poor) is in your bayath (house).

What do you mean that you dakaa (crush) my im (nation / people), and tachan (grind) the panayam (face) of the inay (poor)?” Naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay (), Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies).

Moreover Yahawah () amar (spoke), “yain (because) the banawath (daughters) of Tzayawan (Zion) are gabah (haughty), and yalak (walk) with natah (outstretched) garawan (necks) and flirting iyanayam (eyes), halak (move) to trip as they yalak (go), jingling ornaments on their ragal (feet / foot);

Therefore the Adanay () brings sores on the qadaqad (crown) of the head of the women of Tzayawan (Zion), and Yahawah () will make their scalps bald.”

In that yawam (day) the Adanay () will sawar (take) away the thapaarah (beauty) of their anklets, the headbands, the crescent necklaces,

The earrings, the shayarawath (bracelets), the railawath (veils),

The headdresses, the ankle chains, the sashes, the perfume bottles, the charms,

The signet tabaiwath (rings), the ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) tabaiwath (rings),

The fine robes, the capes, the cloaks, the purses,

The galayawan (hand) mirrors, the sadayan (fine) linen garments, the tiaras, and the shawls.

It shall happen that instead of basham (sweet) spices, there shall be maq (rottenness); instead of a belt, a rope; instead of maishah (well) set maqashah (hair), qarachah (baldness); instead of a robe, a wearing of sackcloth; and branding instead of yapay (beauty).

Your math (men) shall napal (fall / be cast down) by the charab (sword), and your gabawarah (mighty) in the malachamah (war).

Her pathach (gates) shall anah (lament) and abal (mourn); and she shall be naqah (clean/innocent) and yashab (inhabit/dwell) on the aratz (Earth/land).
