Isaiah 56 — Novel English Bible

1 Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), “shamar (keep/guard) mashapat (justice), and ishah (make) tzadaqah (righteousness); for my yashawaih (salvation) is qarawab (near) to bawaa (come), and my tzadaqah (righteousness) to be galah (revealed).

2 Ashar (who/that) is the anawash (man) who ishah (make) this, and the ban (son) of adam (man) who chazaq (holds) it fast; who shamar (keep/guard) the shabath (shabath / rest) from chalal (profaning) it, and shamar (keep/guard) his yad (hand) from ishah (make) any rai (evil).”

3 Neither let the foreigner, who has lawah (joined) himself to Yahawah (), amar (spoke), amar (spoke), “Yahawah () will surely badal (separated) me from his im (nation / people);” neither let the sarayas (eunuch) amar (spoke), “Behold, I am a yabash (dry land) itz (tree).”

4 For thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), “To the sarayasayam (eunuchs) who shamar (keep/guard) my shabath (shabath / rest), and bachar (choose) the things that please me, and chazaq (hold) fast my barayath (covenant):

5 To them I will nathan (give) in my bayath (house) and within my chawamah (walls) a yad (hand) and a sham (name) tawab (good / proper function) than of banayam (sons) and of banawath (daughters); I will nathan (give) them an iwalam (eternity) sham (name), that shall not be karath (cut) off.

6 Also the foreigners who lawah (join) themselves to Yahawah (), to sharath (minister) to him, and to ahab (love) the sham (name) of Yahawah (), to be his ibadayam (servants), everyone who shamar (keep/guard) the shabath (shabath / rest) from chalal (profaning) it, and machazayaqayam (holds) fast my barayath (covenant);

7 Even them will I bawaa (bring) to my qadash (set apart / make holy) har (mountain), and shamach (make) them joyful in my bayath (house) of thapalah (prayer): their burnt ilah (offerings) and their zabach (sacrifices) shall be accepted on my mazabach (altar); for my bayath (house) shall be qaraa (called) a bayath (house) of thapalah (prayer) for all imayam (peoples).”

8 The Adanay () Yahawah (), who qabatz (gathers) the nadachay (outcasts) of Yashar-Al (Israel), naam (declares prophetically), “Yet will I qabatz (gather) others to him, besides his own who are qabatz (gathered).”

9 All you animals of the shadah (field), athah (you (masc)) to akal (eat), all you animals in the yair (forest).

10 His watchmen are iwar (blind), they are all without yadai (knowledge); they are all mute kalabayam (dogs), they can't nabach (bark); dreaming, lying down, ahab (love) to nawam (slumber).

11 Yes, the kalabayam (dogs) are iz (greedy), they yadai (can) never yadai (have) shabaih (seven); and these are raiyam (shepherds) who can't bayan (between): they have all panah (turn) to their own darak (way), ayash (man / husband) one to his batzai (gain), from every qatzah (end / extremity / border).

12 “Athah (you (masc)),” say they, “I will laqach (take / seize) yayan (wine), and we will sabaa (fill) ourselves with shakar (strong) drink; and machar (tomorrow) shall be as this machar (day), maad (great) beyond measure.”
