1 The dabaray (words) of Yaramayah (Jeremiah) the ban (son) of Chalaqayah (Hilkiah), of the kahanayam (priests) who were in Inathawath (Anathoth) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Banayamayan (Benjamin):
2 To whom the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came in the yamay (days) of Yaashayah (Josiah) the ban (son) of Amawan (Amon), malak (king) of Yahawadah (Judah), in the thirteenth shanah (year) of his malak (king).
3 It came also in the yamay (days) of Yahawayaqayam (Jehoiakim) the ban (son) of Yaashayah (Josiah), malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), to the thamam (end) of the ishathay (eleven) shanah (year) of Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah), the ban (son) of Yaashayah (Josiah), malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), to the galah (carrying) away of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem) galah (captive) in the chamayashay (fifth) chadash (month).
4 Now the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke),
5 “Taram (before) I yatzar (formed) you in the batan (belly), I yadai (knew) you. Before you yatzaa (go out / come out) forth out of the racham (show mercy / love), I qadash (set apart / make holy) you. I nathan (give) appointed you a nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) to the gawayam (heathen).”
6 Then I amar (spoke), “ahah (ah), Adanay () Yahawah ()! Behold, I don't know how to dabar (word / matter); for I am a nair (child).”
7 But Yahawah () amar (spoke) to me, “Don't amar (spoke), ‘I am a nair (child);’ for to whoever I shall shalach (send) you, you shall yalak (go), and whatever I shall tzawah (command) you, you shall dabar (word / matter).
8 Don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) panayam (face) of them; for I am with you to natzal (deliver) you,” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah ().
9 Then Yahawah () shalach (send) forth his yad (hand), and nagai (touched) my pah (mouth); and Yahawah () amar (spoke) to me, “Behold, I nathan (give) put my dabar (word / matter) in your pah (mouth).
10 Raah (see / saw), I have this yawam (day) paqad (visit) you over the gawayam (heathen) and over the mamalakawath (kingdoms), to nathash (pluck) up and to nathatz (break) down and to abad (destroy / perish) and to haras (overthrow), to banah (build) and to natai (plant).”
11 Moreover the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me, amar (spoke), “Yaramayah (Jeremiah), what do you raah (see)?” I amar (spoke), “I raah (see) a branch of an shaqad (almond) tree.”
12 Then Yahawah () amar (spoke) to me, “You raah (see) seen yatab (well); for I shaqad (watch) over my dabar (word / matter) to ishah (make) it.”
13 The dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to me the shanay (second) time, amar (spoke), “What do you raah (see)?” I amar (spoke), “I raah (see) a boiling sayar (caldron); and it is tipping away from the tzapawan (north).”
14 Then Yahawah () amar (spoke) to me, “Out of the tzapawan (north) rai (evil) will pathach (break) out on all the yashabay (inhabitants) of the aratz (Earth/land).
15 For, behold, I will qaraa (called) all the mashapachawath (families) of the mamalakawath (kingdoms) of the tzapawan (north),” naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (); “and they shall bawaa (come), and they shall ayash (man / husband) nathan (give) his kasaa (throne) at the pathach (entrance) of the shairay (gates) of Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), and against all its chawamah (walls) all around, and against all the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Judah).
16 I will dabar (word / matter) my mashapat (judgments) il (over) them touching all their rai (wickedness), in that they have forsaken me, and have qatar (burned) incense to other Alahayam (), and shachah (worshiped) the maishay (works) of their own yad (hand).
17 “You therefore put your belt on your waist, qawam (rise up), and dabar (word / matter) to them all that I tzawah (command) you. Don't be chathath (dismayed) at them, lest I chathath (dismay) you panayam (face) them.
18 For, behold, I nathan (give) made you this yawam (day) a fortified iyar (city), and an barazal (iron) imawad (pillar), and bronze chamawath (walls), against the whole aratz (Earth/land), against the malakay (kings) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), against its shar (prince / ruler), against its kahan (priest), and against the im (nation / people) of the aratz (Earth/land).
19 They will lacham (fight) against you; but they will not yakal (prevail) against you; for I am with you”, naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (), “to natzal (deliver) you.”
