Jeremiah 28 — Novel English Bible

It happened the same shanah (year), in the raashayath (beginning) of the mamalakah (reign) of Tzadaqayah (Zedekiah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Judah), in the rabayaiy (fourth) shanah (year), in the chamayashay (fifth) chadash (month), that Chananayah (Hananiah) the ban (son) of Izawar (Azzur), the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), who was of Gabaiwan (Gibeon), amar (spoke) to me in the bayath (house) of Yahawah (), in the iyan (eye) of the kahanayam (priests) and of all the im (nation / people), amar (spoke),

“Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), amar (spoke), ‘I have shabar (broken) the il (over) of the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon).

Within yawam (day) full shanathayam (years) will I shawab (turn back / repent) again into this maqawam (place) all the kalay (vessels) of Yahawah () bayath (house), that Nabawakadanaatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) malak (king) of Babal (Babylon) laqach (take / seize) away from this maqawam (place), and bawaa (come) to Babal (Babylon):

And I will shawab (turn back / repent) again to this maqawam (place) Yakanayah (Jeconiah) the ban (son) of Yahawayaqayam (Jehoiakim), malak (king) of Yahawadah (Judah), with all the galawath (captives) of Yahawadah (Judah), who bawaa (come) to Babal (Babylon),’ naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (); ‘for I will shabar (break) the il (over) of the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon).’”

Then the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) Yaramayah (Jeremiah) amar (spoke) to the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) Chananayah (Hananiah) in the iyan (eye) of the kahanayam (priests), and in the iyan (eye) of all the im (nation / people) who imad (stood) in the bayath (house) of Yahawah (),

Even the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) Yaramayah (Jeremiah) amar (spoke), “aman (believe / have faith): Yahawah () ishah (make) so; Yahawah () qawam (rise up) your dabar (word / matter) which you have nabaa (prophesied), to shawab (turn back / repent) again the kalay (vessels) of Yahawah () bayath (house), and all them of the gawalah (captivity), from Babal (Babylon) to this maqawam (place).

Nevertheless shamai (hearken / hear) you now this dabar (word / matter) that I dabar (word / matter) in your azanay (ears), and in the azanay (ears) of all the im (nation / people):

The nabayaayam (prophets) who have been panayam (face) me and panayam (face) you of iwalam (eternity) nabaa (prophesied) against many aratzawath (countries), and against gadawal (very great/important/mighty) mamalakawath (kingdoms), of malachamah (war), and of rai (evil), and of dabar (word / matter).

The nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) who prophesies of shalawam (peace / safety), when the dabar (word / matter) of the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) shall happen, then shall the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) be yadai (known), that Yahawah () has truly shalach (send) him.”

Then Chananayah (Hananiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) laqach (take / seize) the bar from off the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) Yaramayah (Jeremiah's) tzawaar (neck), and shabar (broke) it.

Chananayah (Hananiah) amar (spoke) in the iyan (eye) of all the im (nation / people), amar (spoke), “Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (): ‘Even so will I shabar (break) the il (over) of Nabawakadanaatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) malak (king) of Babal (Babylon) within yawam (day) full shanathayam (years) from off the tzawaar (neck) of all the gawayam (nations).’” The nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) Yaramayah (Jeremiah) yalak (went) his darak (way).

Then the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to Yaramayah (Jeremiah), achar (other) that Chananayah (Hananiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) had shabar (broken) the bar from off the tzawaar (neck) of the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) Yaramayah (Jeremiah), amar (spoke),

“Halak (move), and amar (spoke) Chananayah (Hananiah), amar (spoke), ‘Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (): “You have shabar (broken) the bars of itz (wood); but you ishah (make) made in their place bars of barazal (iron).”

For thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel): “I nathan (give) put a il (over) of barazal (iron) on the tzawaar (neck) of all these gawayam (nations), that they may ibad (servant) Nabawakadanaatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) malak (king) of Babal (Babylon); and they shall ibad (servant) him: and I nathan (give) given him the animals of the shadah (field) also.”’”

Then the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) Yaramayah (Jeremiah) amar (spoke) to Chananayah (Hananiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), “shamai (hearken / hear) now, Chananayah (Hananiah): Yahawah () has not shalach (send) you; but you make this im (nation / people) to batach (trust) in a shaqar (lie).

Therefore thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), ‘Behold, I will shalach (send) you away from off the surface of the adamah (earth): this shanah (year) you shall mawath (death), because you have dabar (word / matter) sarah (rebellion) against Yahawah ().’”

So Chananayah (Hananiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) mawath (death) the same shanah (year) in the shabayaiy (seventh) chadash (month).
