Then all the sharay (captains) of the chayalayam (forces), and Yawachanan (Johanan) the ban (son) of Qarach (Kareah), and Yazanayah (Jezaniah) the ban (son) of Hawashaiyah (Hoshaiah), and all the im (nation / people) from the qatan (small / young / least) even to the greatest, nagash (came) near,
And amar (spoke) to Yaramayah (Jeremiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), “Please let our thachanah (supplication) be napal (fall / be cast down) panayam (face) you, and palal (pray) for us to Yahawah () your Alahayam (), even for all this shaarayath (remnant); for we are shaar (left) but a mait (few) of many, as your iyan (eye) do raah (see) us:
That Yahawah () your Alahayam () may show us the darak (way) in which we should yalak (walk), and the thing that we should ishah (make).”
Then Yaramayah (Jeremiah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) amar (spoke) to them, “I have shamai (hearken / hear) you; behold, I will palal (pray) to Yahawah () your Alahayam () according to your dabar (word / matter); and it shall happen that whatever thing Yahawah () shall inah (answer / respond) you, I will nagad (declare) it to you; I will manai (keep) nothing back from you.”
Then they amar (spoke) to Yaramayah (Jeremiah), “Yahawah () be a amath (truth) and aman (believe / have faith) id (until / as far as) among us, if we don't ishah (make) according to all the dabar (word / matter) with which Yahawah () your Alahayam () shall shalach (send) you to us.
Whether it be tawab (good / proper function), or whether it be rai (evil), we will shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah () our Alahayam (), to whom we shalach (send) you; that it may be yatab (well) with us, when we shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah () our Alahayam ().”
It happened qatz (after) ishar (ten) yamayam (days), that the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to Yaramayah (Jeremiah).
Then qaraa (called) he Yawachanan (Johanan) the ban (son) of Qarach (Kareah), and all the sharay (captains) of the chayalayam (forces) who were with him, and all the im (nation / people) from the qatan (small / young / least) even to the greatest,
And amar (spoke) to them, “Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), to whom you shalach (send) me to napal (fall / be cast down) your thachanah (supplication) panayam (face) him:
‘If you will still live in this aratz (Earth/land), then will I banah (build) you, and not haras (pull) you down, and I will natai (plant) you, and not nathash (pluck) you up; for I grieve over the rai (distress) that I ishah (make) brought on you.
Don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) of the malak (king) of Babal (Babylon), of whom you are yaraa (afraid); don't be yaraa (fear / be afraid) of him,’ naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (): ‘for I am with you to yashai (salvation) you, and to natzal (deliver) you from his yad (hand).
I will nathan (give) you racham (show mercy / love), that he may have racham (show mercy / love) on you, and cause you to shawab (turn) to your own adamah (land).
“‘But if you amar (spoke), “We will not yashab (inhabit/dwell) in this aratz (Earth/land);” so that you don't shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah () your Alahayam (),
Amar (said), “No; but we will bawaa (bring) into the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), where we shall raah (see / saw) no malachamah (war), nor shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of the shawapar (Shofar / Ram's horn), nor raib (have) hunger of lacham (bread); and there will we yashab (inhabit/dwell):”’
Now therefore shamai (hearken / hear) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), O shaarayath (remnant) of Yahawadah (Judah): Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), ‘If you indeed shawam (place / establish / appoint) your panayam (face) to bawaa (come) into Matzarayam (Egypt), and bawaa (come) to live there;
Then it shall happen, that the charab (sword), which you yaraa (fear / be afraid), shall nashag (overtake) you there in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt); and the raib (famine), about which you are daag (afraid), shall dabaq (follow) close achar (other) you there in Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt); and there you shall mawath (death).
So shall it be with all the anashayam (men) who shawam (place / establish / appoint) their panay (face of) to bawaa (bring) into Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) to live there: they shall mawath (death) by the charab (sword), by the raib (famine), and by the dabar (word / matter); and none of them shall sharayad (remain) or palayat (escape) from the rai (evil) that I will bawaa (bring) on them.’
For thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel): ‘As my ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) and my chamah (wrath) has been nathak (poured) forth on the yashabay (inhabitants) of Yarawashalam (Jerusalem), so shall my chamah (wrath) be nathak (poured) forth on you, when you shall bawaa (come) into Matzarayam (Egypt); and you shall be an object of horror, and an shamah (astonishment), and a qalalah (curse), and a charapah (reproach); and you shall raah (see) this maqawam (place) no more.’
“Yahawah () has dabar (word / matter) concerning you, shaarayath (remnant) of Yahawadah (Judah), ‘Don't you bawaa (come) into Matzarayam (Egypt):’ yadai (know) yadai (certainly) that I have iwad (admonish/bear witness against) to you this yawam (day).
For you have dealt deceitfully against your own napash (soul); for you shalach (send) me to Yahawah () your Alahayam (), amar (spoke), ‘palal (pray) for us to Yahawah () our Alahayam (); and according to all that Yahawah () our Alahayam () shall amar (spoke), so nagad (declare) to us, and we will ishah (make) it:’
And I have this yawam (day) nagad (declared) it to you; but you have not shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah () your Alahayam () in anything for which he has shalach (send) me to you.
Now therefore yadai (know) yadai (certainly) that you shall mawath (death) by the charab (sword), by the raib (famine), and by the dabar (word / matter), in the maqawam (place) where you chapatz (desire) to bawaa (bring) to live there.”
