3 And amar (spoke) it, ‘Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “Behold, I am against you, har (mountain) Shaiyar (Seir), and I will natah (stretch) out my yad (hand) against you, and I will nathan (give) you a shamamah (desolation) and an astonishment.
4 I will shawam (place / establish / appoint) your iyar (cities) charabah (waste), and you shall be shamamah (desolate); and you shall yadai (know) that I am Yahawah ().
5 “‘“Because you have had a iwalam (eternity) enmity, and have given over the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) to the yad (hand) of the charab (sword) in the ith (time) of their ayad (calamity), in the ith (time) of the iwan (guilt/iniquity) of the qatz (end);
6 Therefore, as I chay (life),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (), “I will ishah (make) you for dam (blood), and dam (blood) shall radap (pursue) you: am (mother) you have not shanaa (hate) dam (blood), therefore dam (blood) shall radap (pursue) you.
7 Thus will I nathan (give) har (mountain) Shaiyar (Seir) an astonishment and a shamamah (desolation); and I will karath (cut) off from it him who passes through and him who shawab (turn).
8 I will malaa (fill) its har (mountain) with its chalal (slain): in your gabaih (hills) and in your gayaa (valleys) and in all your watercourses shall they napal (fall / be cast down) who are chalal (slain) with the charab (sword).
9 I will nathan (give) you a iwalam (forever) shamamah (desolation), and your iyar (cities) shall not be inhabited; and you shall yadai (know) that I am Yahawah ().
10 “‘“Because you have amar (spoke), ‘These shanayam (two) gawayam (nations) and these shanayam (two) aratzawath (countries) shall be mine, and we will yarash (possess) it;’ whereas Yahawah () was there:
11 Therefore, as I chay (life),” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (), “I will ishah (make) according to your ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting), and according to your qanaah (envy) which you ishah (make) shown out of your hatred against them; and I yadai (will) make myself known among them, when I shall shapat (judge / judgement) you.
12 You shall yadai (know) that I, Yahawah (), have shamai (hearken / hear) all your insults which you have amar (spoke) against the haray (mountains) of Yashar-Al (Israel), amar (spoke), ‘They are shamam (laid) desolate, they nathan (give) been given us to akalah (devour).’
13 You have gadal (magnified) yourselves against me with your pah (mouth), and have ithar (multiplied) your dabar (word / matter) against me: I have shamai (hearken / hear) it.”
14 Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “When the whole aratz (Earth/land) shamach (rejoices), I will ishah (make) you shamamah (desolate).
15 As you shamachah (rejoiced) over the nachalah (inheritance) of the bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel), because it was shamam (desolate), so will I ishah (make) to you: you shall be shamamah (desolate), har (mountain) Shaiyar (Seir), and all Adawam (Edom), even all of it; and they shall yadai (know) that I am Yahawah ().’”
