1 In the chamash (five) and isharayam (twenty) shanah (year) of our galawath (captivity), in the raash (head) of the shanah (year), in the ishawar (tenth) day of the chadash (month), in the fourteenth shanah (year) achar (other) that the iyar (city) was nakah (struck), in the same yawam (day), the yad (hand) of Yahawah () was on me, and he bawaa (come) me there.

2 In the maraawath (visions) of Alahayam () bawaa (come) he me into the aratz (Earth/land) of Yashar-Al (Israel), and nawach (set) me down on a very gabah (high) har (mountain), whereon was as it were the mabanah (frame) of a iyar (city) on the nagab (south).
