Ezekiel 41 — Novel English Bible

He bawaa (bring) me to the hayakal (temple), and madad (measured) the ayalayam (posts), shash (six) amawath (cubits) rachab (broad) on the one pah (side), and shash (six) amawath (cubits) rachab (broad) on the other pah (side), which was the rachab (breadth) of the ahal (tent).

The rachab (breadth) of the pathach (entrance) was ishar (ten) amawath (cubits); and the kathapawath (sides) of the pathach (entrance) were chamash (five) amawath (cubits) on the one side, and chamash (five) amawath (cubits) on the other side: and he madad (measured) its arak (length), arabaiyam (forty) amawath (cubits), and the rachab (breadth), isharayam (twenty) amawath (cubits).

Then bawaa (bring) he inward, and madad (measured) each ayal (post) of the pathach (entrance), shanayam (two) amawath (cubits); and the pathach (entrance), shash (six) amawath (cubits); and the rachab (breadth) of the pathach (entrance), shabai (seven) amawath (cubits).

He madad (measured) its arak (length), isharayam (twenty) amah (cubits), and the rachab (breadth), isharayam (twenty) amah (cubits), panayam (face) the hayakal (temple): and he amar (said) to me, “This is the most qadash (set apart / make holy) place.”

Then he madad (measured) the qayar (wall) of the bayath (house), shash (six) amawath (cubits); and the rachab (breadth) of every tzalai (side) room, arabai (four) amawath (cubits), all around the bayath (house) on sabayab (surrounding) side.

The tzalai (side) rooms were in shalawash (three) stories, tzalai (one) over another, and shalawashayam (thirty) in paim (order); and they bawaa (bring) into the qayar (wall) which belonged to the bayath (house) for the tzalai (side) rooms all around, that they might achaz (have) hold therein, and not achaz (have) hold in the qayar (wall) of the bayath (house).

The tzalai (side) rooms were broader as they encompassed the mail (top/above) higher and higher; for the encompassing of the bayath (house) went higher and higher around the bayath (house): therefore the rachab (breadth) of the bayath (house) continued upward; and so one ilah (go up / offer) up from the thachathawan (lowest) room to the highest by the thayakawan (middle) room.

I raah (see / saw) also that the bayath (house) had a raised base all around: the mayasadawath (foundations) of the tzalai (side) rooms were a malaa (full) qanah (reed) of shash (six) atzayal (great) amawath (cubits).

The rachab (thickness) of the qayar (wall), which was for the tzalai (side) rooms, on the outside, was chamash (five) amawath (cubits): and that which was yanach (left) was the bayath (house) of the tzalai (side) rooms that belonged to the bayath (house).

Between the rooms was a rachab (breadth) of isharayam (twenty) amah (cubits) around the bayath (house) on sabayab (surrounding) side.

The pathach (doors) of the tzalai (side) rooms were toward the yanach (place) that was left, achad (one) pathach (door) darak (toward) the tzapawan (north), and another pathach (door) toward the darawam (south): and the rachab (breadth) of the maqawam (place) that was yanach (left) was chamash (five) amawath (cubits) all around.

The banayan (building) that panayam (face) before the gazarah (separate) place at the paah (side) darak (toward) the yam (sea/waters) was shabaiyam (seventy) amawath (cubits) rachab (broad); and the qayar (wall) of the banayan (building) was chamash (five) amawath (cubits) thick all around, and its arak (length) thashaiyam (ninety) amawath (cubits).

So he madad (measured) the bayath (house), one maah (hundred) amah (cubits) arak (length); and the gazarah (separate) place, and the banayah (building), with its qayar (walls), one maah (hundred) amah (cubits) arak (length);

Also the rachab (breadth) of the panayam (face) of the bayath (house), and of the gazarah (separate) place toward the qadayam (east), one maah (hundred) amah (cubits).

He madad (measured) the arak (length) of the banayan (building) panayam (face) the gazarah (separate) place which was at its achar (other), and its athawaq (galleries) on the one side and on the other side, one maah (hundred) amah (cubits); and the inner hayakal (temple), and the porches of the chatzar (court);

The sapayam (thresholds), and the closed chalawanayam (windows), and the athayaqayam (galleries) around on their shalawash (three) stories, over nagad (against) the sap (threshold), with itz (wood) ceilings all around, and from the aratz (Earth/land) up to the chalawanayam (windows), (now the chalawanayam (windows) were kasah (covered)),

To the space above the pathach (door), even to the inner bayath (house), and outside, and by all the qayar (wall) all around inside and outside, by madah (measure).

It was ishah (make) with karawab (cherubim) and thamar (palm) trees; and a thamar (palm) tree was between karawab (cherub) and karawab (cherub), and every karawab (cherub) had shanayam (two) panayam (face);

So that there was the panayam (face) of a adam (man) toward the thamar (palm) tree on the one side, and the panayam (face) of a young kapayar (lion) toward the thamar (palm) tree on the other side. Thus was it ishah (make) through all the bayath (house) all around:

From the aratz (Earth/land) to above the pathach (door) were karawab (cherubim) and thamar (palm) trees ishah (make): thus was the qayar (wall) of the hayakal (temple).

As for the hayakal (temple), the mazawazah (door) posts were rabai (fourth); and as for the panayam (face) of the qadash (set apart / make holy), the maraah (appearance) of it was as the maraah (appearance) of the temple.

The mazabach (altar) was of itz (wood), shalawash (three) amawath (cubits) gabah (high), and its arak (length) shanayam (two) amawath (cubits); and its maqatzawai (corners), and its arak (length), and its qayar (walls), were of itz (wood): and he dabar (word / matter) to me, “This is the shalachan (table) that is panayam (face) Yahawah ().”

The hayakal (temple) and the qadash (set apart / make holy) had shanayam (two) dalathawath (doors).

The dalathawath (doors) had shanayam (two) leaves apiece, shanayam (two) mawasabah (turning) leaves: shanayam (two) leaves for the achad (one) dalath (door), and shanayam (two) leaves for the other.

There were ishah (make) on them, on the dalathawath (doors) of the hayakal (temple), karawab (cherubim) and thamar (palm) trees, like as were ishah (make) on the qayarawath (walls); and there was a threshold of itz (wood) on the panayam (face) of the awalam (porch) outside.

There were closed chalawanayam (windows) and thamar (palm) trees on the one kathap (side) and on the other side, on the sides of the awalam (porch): thus were the tzalai (side) rooms of the bayath (house), and the thresholds.
