Ezekiel 45 — Novel English Bible

1 “‘“Moreover, when you shall napal (fall / be cast down) by lot the aratz (Earth/land) for nachalah (inheritance), you shall rawam (will lift up) an tharawamah (offering) to Yahawah (), a qadash (set apart / make holy) portion of the aratz (Earth/land); the arak (length) shall be the arak (length) of isharayam (twenty) - chamash (five) alap (thousand) reeds, and the rachab (breadth) shall be ishar (ten) alap (thousand): it shall be qadash (set apart / make holy) in all its gabawal (border/boundary) all around.

2 Of this there shall be for the qadash (set apart / make holy) place chamash (five) maah (hundred) in length by chamash (five) maah (hundred) in breadth, rabai (fourth) all around; and chamashayam (fifty) amah (cubits) for its magarash (suburbs) all around.

3 Of this madah (measure) you shall madad (measure) a arak (length) of isharayam (twenty) - chamash (five) alap (thousand), and a rachab (breadth) of ishar (ten) alap (thousand): and in it shall be the maqadash (sanctuary), which is most qadash (set apart / make holy).

4 It is a qadash (set apart / make holy) portion of the aratz (Earth/land); it shall be for the kahanayam (priests), the masharathay (ministers) of the maqadash (sanctuary), who qarab (come) near to sharath (minister) to Yahawah (); and it shall be a maqawam (place) for their bathayam (houses), and a maqadash (holy) place for the maqadash (sanctuary).

5 Isharayam (twenty) - chamash (five) alap (thousand) in arak (length), and ishar (ten) alap (thousand) in rachab (breadth), shall be to the Lawayay (Levites), the masharathay (ministers) of the bayath (house), for a achazah (possession) to themselves, for isharayam (twenty) rooms.

6 “‘“You shall nathan (give) the achazah (possession) of the iyar (city) chamash (five) alap (thousand) rachab (broad), and isharayam (twenty) - chamash (five) alap (thousand) arak (length), side by side with the tharawamah (offering) of the qadash (set apart / make holy) portion: it shall be for the whole bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel).

7 “‘“Whatever is for the nashayaa (prince) shall be on the one side and on the other side of the qadash (set apart / make holy) tharawamah (offering) and of the achazah (possession) of the iyar (city), in panayam (face) of the qadash (set apart / make holy) tharawamah (offering) and in panayam (face) of the achazah (possession) of the iyar (city), on the yam (sea/waters) paah (side) westward, and on the qadam (east) paah (side) eastward; and in arak (length) answerable to achad (one) of the chalaqayam (portions), from the yam (sea/waters) gabawal (border/boundary) to the qadayam (east) gabawal (border/boundary).

8 In the aratz (Earth/land) it shall be to him for a achazah (possession) in Yashar-Al (Israel): and my nashayaa (princes) shall no more yanah (oppress) my im (nation / people); but they shall nathan (give) the aratz (Earth/land) to the bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel) according to their shabat (tribes).”

9 “‘Thus naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “Let it rab (suffice) you, nashayaay (princes) of Yashar-Al (Israel): sawar (remove) chamas (violence) and shad (spoil), and ishah (make) mashapat (justice) and tzadaqah (righteousness); dispossessing my im (nation / people),” amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah ().

10 “You shall have tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) maazanay (balances), and a tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) ayapah (ephah), and a tzadaq (righteous / just / fair) Banath (daughter).

11 The ayapah (ephah) and the Banath (daughter) shall be of achad (one) thakan (measure), that the Banath (daughter) may nashaa (lift) the maishar (tenth) part of a chamar (homer), and the ayapah (ephah) the ishayaray (tenth) part of a chamar (homer): its mathakanath (measure) shall be after the chamar (homer).

12 The shaqal (shekel) shall be isharayam (twenty) garah (gerahs). Isharayam (twenty) shaqalayam (shekels) plus isharayam (twenty) - chamash (five) shaqalayam (shekels) plus chamash (fifteen) shaqalayam (shekels) shall be your mina.

13 “‘“This is the tharawamah (offering) that you shall rawam (will lift up): the shashay (sixth) part of an ayapah (ephah) from a chamar (homer) of chatah (wheat); and you shall give the shashah (sixth) part of an ayapah (ephah) from a chamar (homer) of shairah (barley);

14 And the chaq (statute) portion of shaman (oil), of the Banath (daughter) of shaman (oil), the maishar (tenth) part of a Banath (daughter) out of the kar (cor), which is ishar (ten) bathayam (baths), even a chamar (homer); (for ishar (ten) bathayam (baths) are a chamar (homer);)

15 And achad (one) shah (lamb) of the tzaan (flock), out of two maah (hundred), from the well-watered mashaqah (pastures) of Yashar-Al (Israel—for) a meal manachah (offering), and for a burnt ilah (offering), and for shalam (peace) offerings, to make kapar (atonement) for them,” naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah ().

16 “All the im (nation / people) of the aratz (Earth/land) shall give to this tharawamah (offering) for the nashayaa (prince) in Yashar-Al (Israel).

17 It shall be the nashayaa (prince's) part to give the burnt iwalawath (offerings), and the meal manachah (offerings), and the drink nasak (offerings), in the chagayam (feasts), and on the new chadashayam (moons), and on the shabathawath (sabbaths), in all the mawaid (Feast/Holy Day) feasts of the bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel): he shall ishah (make) the sin manachah (offering), and the meal ilah (offering), and the burnt ilah (offering), and the shalam (peace) offerings, to make kapar (atonement) for the bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel).”

18 “‘Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): “In the raashawan (first) month, in the achad (one) day of the chadash (month), you shall laqach (take / seize) a ban (son) par (bull) thamayam (complete / whole) blemish; and you shall chataa (cleanse) the maqadash (sanctuary).

19 The kahan (priest) shall laqach (take / seize) of the dam (blood) of the chataah (sin) offering, and nathan (give) it on the mazawazah (door) posts of the bayath (house), and on the arabai (four) panawath (corners) of the ledge of the mazabach (altar), and on the mazawazah (posts) of the shair (gate) of the inner chatzar (court).

20 So you shall ishah (make) on the shabai (seven) day of the chadash (month) for everyone who shagah (errs), and for him who is pathay (simple): so you shall make kapar (atonement) for the bayath (house).

21 “‘“In the raashawan (first) month, in the fourteenth yawam (day) of the chadash (month), you shall have the pasach (passover), a chag (feast/festival) of shabawai (seven) yamayam (days); unleavened matzah (bread) shall be akal (eat).

22 On that yawam (day) shall the nashayaa (prince) ishah (make) for himself and for all the im (nation / people) of the aratz (Earth/land) a par (bull) for a chataah (sin) offering.

23 The shabai (seven) yamay (days) of the chag (feast/festival) he shall ishah (make) a burnt ilah (offering) to Yahawah (), shabai (seven) parayam (bulls) and shabai (seven) ayalayam (rams) thamayam (complete / whole) blemish yawam (day) the shabai (seven) yamay (days); and a male shaiyar (goat) yawam (day) for a chataah (sin) offering.

24 He shall ishah (make) a meal manachah (offering), an ayapah (ephah) for a par (bull), and an ayapah (ephah) for a ayal (ram), and a hayan (hin) of shaman (oil) to an ayapah (ephah).

25 “‘“In the shabai (seven) month, in the fifteenth yawam (day) of the chadash (month), in the chag (feast/festival), shall he ishah (make) the like the shabayaiy (seventh) yamayam (days); according to the chataah (sin) offering, according to the burnt ilah (offering), and according to the meal manachah (offering), and according to the shaman (oil).”
