2 A shalayashay (third) part you shall bair (burn) in the awar (light) in the thawak (midst) of the iyar (city), when the yamay (days) of the matzawar (siege) are malaa (fulfilled); and you shall laqach (take / seize) a shalayashay (third) part, and nakah (strike) with the charab (sword) around it; and a shalayashay (third) part you shall zarah (scatter) to the rawach (spirit / wind), and I will rawaq (draw) out a charab (sword) achar (other) them.
3 You shall laqach (take / seize) of it a mait (few) in masapar (number), and tzawar (bind) them in your kanap (skirts).
4 Of these again you shall take, and shalak (cast) them into the thawak (midst) of the ash (fire), and sharap (burn) them in the ash (fire); from it shall a ash (fire) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth into all the bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel).
5 “Thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘This is Yarawashalam (Jerusalem); I have shawam (place / establish / appoint) her in the thawak (midst) of the gawayam (nations), and aratzawath (countries) are around her.
6 She has marah (rebelled) against my mashapat (ordinances) in doing rashaih (wickedness) more than the gawayam (heathen), and against my chaqah (statutes) more than the aratzawath (countries) that are around her; for they have maas (rejected) my mashapat (ordinances), and as for my chaqah (statutes), they have not halak (move) in them.’
7 “Therefore thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘Because you are turbulent more than the gawayam (nations) that are around you, and have not halak (move) in my chaqah (statutes), neither ishah (make) kept my mashapatay (ordinances), neither ishah (make) done after the mashapatay (ordinances) of the gawayam (nations) that are around you;
8 Therefore thus amar (spoke) the Adanay () Yahawah (): ‘Behold, I, even I, am against you; and I will ishah (make) mashapatayam (judgments) in the thawak (midst) of you in the iyan (eye) of the gawayam (nations).
9 I will ishah (make) in you that which I ishah (make) not done, and whereunto I will not ishah (make) any more the like, yain (because) of all your thawaibah (abominations).
10 Therefore the abawath (fathers) shall akal (eat) the banayam (sons) in the thawak (midst) of you, and the banayam (sons) shall akal (eat) their abawath (fathers); and I will ishah (make) shapatayam (judgments) on you; and the whole shaarayath (remnant) of you will I zarah (scatter) to all the rawach (spirit / wind).
11 Therefore, as I chay (life),’ naam (declares prophetically) the Adanay () Yahawah (), ‘surely, because you have tamaa (defiled) my maqadash (sanctuary) with all your shaqawatz (detestable) things, and with all your thawaibah (abominations), therefore will I also garai (diminish) you; neither shall my iyan (eye) chawas (spare), and I also will chamal (have) no pity.
12 A shalayashay (third) part of you shall mawath (death) with the dabar (word / matter), and with raib (famine) shall they be kalah (complete / finish) in the thawak (midst) of you; and a shalayashay (third) part shall napal (fall / be cast down) by the charab (sword) around you; and a shalayashay (third) part I will zarah (scatter) to all the rawach (spirit / wind), and will rawaq (draw) out a charab (sword) achar (other) them.
13 “‘Thus shall my ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) be kalah (complete / finish), and I will cause my chamah (wrath) toward them to nawach (rest), and I shall be nacham (turn away / repent); and they shall yadai (know) that I, Yahawah (), have dabar (word / matter) in my qanaah (zeal), when I kalah (complete / finish) accomplished my chamah (wrath) on them.
14 “‘Moreover I will nathan (give) you a desolation and a charapah (reproach) among the gawayam (heathen) that are around you, in the iyan (eye) of ibar (pass over/through) that pass by.
15 So it shall be a charapah (reproach) and a gadawapah (taunt), an mawasar (instruction) and an mashamah (astonishment), to the gawayam (nations) that are around you, when I shall ishah (make) shapatayam (judgments) on you in ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) and in chamah (wrath), and in chamah (wrathful) thakachawath (rebukes); (I, Yahawah (), have dabar (word / matter) it;)
16 When I shall shalach (send) on them the rai (evil) chatzay (arrows) of raib (famine), that are for mashachayath (destruction), which I will shalach (send) to shachath (destroy) you: and I will yasap (increase) the raib (famine) on you, and will shabar (break) your matah (staff / rod / tribe) of lacham (bread);
17 And I will shalach (send) on you raib (famine) and rai (evil) animals, and they shall shakal (bereave) you; and dabar (word / matter) and dam (blood) shall ibar (pass over/through) through you; and I will bawaa (come) the charab (sword) on you: I, Yahawah (), have dabar (word / matter) it.’”
