Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king) ibad (servant) an tzalam (likeness) of dahab (gold), whose rawam (will lift up) was shathayan (sixty) amah (cubits), and its pathay (breadth) shath (six) amah (cubits): he qawam (rise up) it up in the baqaia (plain) of Dawaraa (Dura), in the madayanah (province) of Babal (Babylon).
Then Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king) shalach (sent) to kanash (gather) together the satraps, the deputies, and the pachawath (governors), the adaragazaray (judges), the gadabaray (treasurers), the counselors, the thapathay (sheriffs), and kal (every) the shalatanay (rulers) of the madayanah (provinces), to athah (you (masc)) to the chanakaa (dedication) of the tzalam (likeness) which Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king) had qawam (rise up) up.
Then the satraps, the deputies, and the pachawath (governors), the adaragazaray (judges), the gadabaray (treasurers), the counselors, the thapathay (sheriffs), and kal (every) the shalatanay (rulers) of the madayanah (provinces), were kanash (gathered) together to the chanakaa (dedication) of the tzalam (likeness) that Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king) had qawam (rise up) up; and they qawam (rise up) qabal (before) the tzalam (likeness) that Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) had qawam (rise up) up.
Then the karawaz (herald) qaraa (called) chayal (aloud), “To you it is commanded, imamay (peoples), amay (nations), and lashanay (languages),
That whenever you shamai (hear) the qal (sound) of the qaran (horn), masharawaqay (flute), zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and kal (every) zanay (kinds) of music, you napal (fall / be cast down) down and sagad (worship) the dahab (golden) tzalam (likeness) that Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king) has qawam (rise up) up;
And whoever doesn't napal (fall / be cast down) down and sagad (worship) shall the same shaih (hour) be ramah (cast) into the gaw (midst) of a yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace).”
Qabal (therefore) at that zaman (time), when kal (every) the imamay (peoples) shamai (heard) the qal (sound) of the qaran (horn), masharawaqay (flute), zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and kal (every) zanay (kinds) of music, kal (every) the imamay (peoples), the amay (nations), and the lashanay (languages), napal (fall / be cast down) down and sagad (worshiped) the dahab (golden) tzalam (likeness) that Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king) had qawam (rise up) up.
Qabal (therefore) at that zaman (time) gabar (certain) Kashaday (Chaldeans) qarab (came) near, and brought accusation against the Yahawadaay (Jews).
They inah (answer / respond) Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king), “O malak (king), chayaa (live) for ilam (ever).
You, O malak (king), have shawam (place / establish / appoint) a taim (decree), that kal (every) anash (man) that shall shamai (hear) the qal (sound) of the qaran (horn), masharawaqay (flute), zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and kal (every) zanay (kinds) of music, shall napal (fall / be cast down) down and sagad (worship) the dahab (golden) tzalam (likeness);
And whoever doesn't napal (fall / be cast down) down and sagad (worship) shall be ramah (cast) into the gaw (midst) of a yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace).
There are gabar (certain) Yahawadaay (Jews) whom you have appointed over the ibayadah (affairs) of the madayanah (province) of Babal (Babylon): Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego); these gabarayan (men), O malak (king), have not respected you. They don't palach (serve) your Alahayam (), nor sagad (worship) the dahab (golden) tzalam (likeness) which you have qawam (rise up) up.”
Then Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) in his ragaz (rage) and chamaa (fury) commanded to athah (you (masc)) Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego). Then they athah (you (masc)) these gabaray (men) qadam (before) the malak (king).
Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) inah (oppress / afflict) them, “Is it on purpose, Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego), that you don't palach (serve) my Alahayam (), nor sagad (worship) the dahab (golden) tzalam (likeness) which I have qawam (rise up) up?
Kain (now) if you are ithayad (ready) whenever you shamai (hear) the qal (sound) of the qaran (horn), masharawaqay (flute), zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and kal (every) zanay (kinds) of music to napal (fall / be cast down) down and sagad (worship) the tzalam (likeness) which I have ibad (servant), well: but if you don't sagad (worship), you shall be ramah (cast) the same shaih (hour) into the gaw (midst) of a yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace); and who is that Alahayam () that shall shazab (deliver) you out of my yad (hand)?”
Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego) inah (answer / respond) the malak (king), “Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar), we have no chashach (need) to thawab (answer) you in dan (this) pathagam (matter).
If it be so, our Alahayam () whom we palach (serve) is yakal (able) to shazab (deliver) us from the yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace); and he will shazab (deliver) us out of your yad (hand), O malak (king).
But if not, be it yadai (known) to you, O malak (king), that we ayathay (will) not palach (serve) your Alahayam (), nor sagad (worship) the dahab (golden) tzalam (likeness) which you have qawam (rise up) up.”
Then was Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) malaa (full) of chamaa (fury), and the tzalam (likeness) of his appearance was shanaa (hate) il (over) Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego): therefore he inah (answer / respond), and commanded that they should azaa (heat) the athawan (furnace) shabaih (seven) times more day (than) it was usually azaa (heated).
He commanded certain gabar (mighty) gabarayan (men) who were in his chayal (army) to kapath (bind) Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego), and to ramah (cast) them into the yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace).
Then these gabaray (men) were kapath (bound) in their pants, their tunics, and their mantles, and their other labawash (garments), and were ramah (cast) into the gaw (midst) of the yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace).
Therefore man (from) the malak (king) commandment was chatzap (urgent), and the athawan (furnace) yathayar (exceeding) azaa (hot), the shabayab (flame) of the nawar (fire) killed alak (those) gabaray (men) who nasaq (took) up Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego).
These thalath (three) gabaray (men), Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego), napal (fall / be cast down) down kapath (bound) into the gaw (midst) of the yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace).
Then Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) the malak (king) was astonished, and qawam (rise up) up in bahal (haste): he inah (answer / respond) and amar (said) to his counselors, “Didn't we ramah (cast) thalath (three) gabarayan (men) kapath (bound) into the gaw (midst) of the nawar (fire)?” They inah (answer / respond) the malak (king), “yatzayab (true), O malak (king).”
He inah (oppress / afflict), “Look, I chazaa (see) arabai (four) gabarayan (men) sharaa (loose), halak (move) in the gaw (midst) of the nawar (fire), and they are unharmed; and the aspect of the rabayaiy (fourth) is like a bar (son) of the Alahayam ().”
Then Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) qarab (came) near to the tharai (mouth) of the yaqad (burning) nawar (fiery) athawan (furnace): he inah (oppress / afflict) and amar (spoke), “Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego), you ibad (servant) of the Most ilay (went up) Alahayam (), napaq (come) forth, and athah (you (masc)) here.” Then Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego) napaq (came) forth out of the gaw (midst) of the nawar (fire).
The satraps, the deputies, and the pachawath (governors), and the malak (king) counselors, being kanash (gathered) together, chazaa (saw) these gabaray (men), that the nawar (fire) had no shalat (power) on their gasham (bodies), nor was the shair (hair) of their raash (head) charak (singed), laa (NOT) were their pants shanaa (hate), nor had the rayach (smell) of nawar (fire) idaa (passed) on them.
Nabawakadanatzar (Nebuchadnezzar) inah (oppress / afflict) and amar (spoke), “barak (blessed) be the Alahayam () of Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego), who has shalach (sent) his malaak (angel / messenger of Yah), and shazab (delivered) his ibad (servant) who rachatz (trusted) in him, and have shanaa (hate) the malak (king) malah (word), and have yahab (yielded) their gasham (bodies), that they might not palach (serve) nor sagad (worship) any Alahayam (), lahan (except) their own Alahayam ().
Therefore I shawam (place / establish / appoint) a taim (decree), that kal (every) im (nation / people), amah (nation), and lashan (language), which amar (spoke) anything evil il (over) the Alahayam () of Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego), shall be ibad (servant) in hadamayan (pieces), and their bayath (house) shall be shawah (made) a nawalaw (dunghill); qabal (because) there is no other Alahayam () who is able to natzal (deliver) dan (after) this sort.”
Then the malak (king) tzalach (promoted) Shadarak (Shadrach), Mayashak (Meshach), and Ibadanagawaa (Abednego) in the madayanah (province) of Babal (Babylon).
