Hosea 6 — Novel English Bible

“Yalak (come), and let us shawab (turn back / repent) to Yahawah (); for he has tarap (torn) us to pieces, and he will rapaa (heal) us; he has injured us, and he will chabash (bind) up our wounds.

After yawam (day) days he will chayah (revive) us. On the shalayashay (third) yawam (day) he will qawam (rise up) us up, and we will chayah (live) panayam (face) him.

Yadai (let) us acknowledge Yahawah (). Let us press on to yadai (know) Yahawah (). As surely as the sun rises, Yahawah () will appear. He will bawaa (come) to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the aratz (Earth/land).”

“Aparayam (Ephraim), what shall I ishah (make) to you? Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), what shall I ishah (make) to you? For your chasad (grace) is like a baqar (morning) inan (cloud), and like the tal (dew) that disappears shakam (early).

Therefore I have chatzab (cut) them to pieces with the nabayaayam (prophets); I harag (kill) them with the amaray (Amaray / Amorite) of my pah (mouth). Your mashapat (judgments) are like a flash of awar (light).

For I chapatz (desire) chasad (grace), and not zabach (sacrifice); and the daith (knowledge) of Alahayam () more than burnt ilawath (offerings).

But they, like Adam (), ibar (pass over/through) broken the barayath (covenant). They were bagad (unfaithful) to me, there.

Galaid (Gilead) is a qarayah (city / town) of those who pail (work) awan (iniquity); it is stained with dam (blood).

As gangs of robbers chakah (wait) to ambush a ayash (man / husband), so the chabar (company) of kahanayam (priests) ratzach (murder) in the darak (way) toward Shakam (Shechem), ishah (make) shameful zamah (crimes).

In the bayath (house) of Yashar-Al (Israel) I raah (see / saw) seen a shairawarah (horrible) thing. There is prostitution in Aparayam (Ephraim). Yashar-Al (Israel) is tamaa (defiled).

“Also, Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), there is a qatzayar (harvest) shayath (put / appoint / make) for you, when I shawab (turn) the fortunes of my im (nation / people).
