1 Yahawah () dabar (word / matter) to Mashah (Moses) in har (mountain) Sayanay (Sinai),
2 “Dabar (word / matter) to the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel), and amar (spoke) them, ‘When you bawaa (come) into the aratz (Earth/land) which I nathan (give) you, then the aratz (Earth/land) shall shabath (shabath / rest) a shabath (shabath / rest) to Yahawah ().
3 Shash (six) shanayam (two) you shall zarai (sow) your shadah (field), and shash (six) shanayam (two) you shall zamar (prune) your karam (vineyard), and asap (gather) in its thabawaah (fruits);
4 But in the shabayaiy (seventh) shanah (year) there shall be a shabath (shabath / rest) of solemn shabathawan (rest) for the aratz (Earth/land), a shabath (shabath / rest) to Yahawah (). You shall not zarai (sow) your shadah (field) or zamar (prune) your karam (vineyard).
5 What sapayach (grows) of itself in your qatzayar (harvest) you shall not qatzar (reap), and the inabay (grapes) of your nazayar (Nazarite) vine you shall not batzar (gather). It shall be a shanah (year) of solemn shabathawan (rest) for the aratz (Earth/land).
6 The shabath (shabath / rest) of the aratz (Earth/land) shall be for akalah (food) for you; for yourself, for your ibad (servant), for your amah (maid), for your hired ibad (servant), and for your thawashab (stranger), who lives as a thawashab (foreigner) with you.
7 For your livestock also, and for the animals that are in your aratz (Earth/land), shall all its thabawaah (increase) be for akal (eat).
8 “‘You shall sapar (book) off shabai (seven) shabathath (sabbaths) of shanayam (two), shabai (seven) paimayam (times) shabai (seven) shanayam (two); and there shall be to you the yamay (days) of shabai (seven) shabathath (sabbaths) of shanayam (two), even forty - nine shanayam (two).
9 Then you shall ibar (pass over/through) the tharawaih (loud) shawapar (Shofar / Ram's horn) on the ishawar (tenth) day of the shabayaiy (seventh) chadash (month). On the yawam (day) of kapar (atonement) you shall ibar (pass over/through) the shawapar (Shofar / Ram's horn) throughout all your aratz (Earth/land).
10 You shall make the fiftieth shanah (year) qadash (set apart / make holy), and qaraa (called) darawar (liberty) throughout the aratz (Earth/land) to all its yashab (inhabit/dwell). It shall be a yawabal (jubilee) to you; and ayash (man / husband) of you shall shawab (turn) to his own property, and ayash (man / husband) of you shall shawab (turn) to his mashapachah (tribe / clan / family).
11 That fiftieth shanah (year) shall be a yawabal (jubilee) to you. In it you shall not zarai (sow), neither qatzar (reap) that which sapayach (grows) of itself, nor batzar (gather) from the nazayar (Nazarite) vines.
12 For it is a yawabal (jubilee); it shall be qadash (set apart / make holy) to you. You shall akal (eat) of its thabawaah (increase) out of the shadah (field).
13 “‘In this shanah (year) of yawabal (jubilee) ayash (man / husband) of you shall shawab (turn) to his property.
14 “‘If you makar (sell) anything to your neighbor, or qanah (buy) from your neighbor, you shall not wrong ayash (man / husband) ach (brother/kinsman).
15 According to the masapar (number) of shanayam (two) achar (other) the yawabal (jubilee) you shall qanah (buy) from your neighbor. According to the masapar (number) of shanayam (two) of the crops he shall makar (sell) to you.
16 Pah (according) to the length of the shanayam (two) you shall rabah (increase) its price, and pah (according) to the shortness of the shanayam (two) you shall mait (diminish) its price; for he is makar (selling) the masapar (number) of the crops to you.
17 You shall not wrong ayash (man / husband) imayath (another); but you shall yaraa (fear / be afraid) your Alahayam (): for I am Yahawah () your Alahayam ().
18 “‘Therefore you shall ishah (make) my chaqah (statutes), and shamar (keep/guard) my mashapat (ordinances) and ishah (make) them; and you shall yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the aratz (Earth/land) in safety.
19 The aratz (Earth/land) shall nathan (give) its paray (fruit), and you shall akal (eat) your shabai (fill), and yashab (inhabit/dwell) therein in safety.
20 If you amar (said), “What shall we akal (eat) the shabayaiy (seventh) shanah (year)? Behold, we shall not zarai (sow), nor asap (gather) in our thabawaah (increase);”
21 Then I will tzawah (command) my barakah (blessing) on you in the shashay (sixth) shanah (year), and it shall ishah (make) forth thabawaah (fruit) for the shalawash (three) shanayam (two).
22 You shall zarai (sow) the shamayanay (eighth) shanah (year), and akal (eat) of the thabawaah (fruits), the yashan (old) store; until the thashayaiy (ninth) shanah (year), until its thabawaah (fruits) bawaa (bring) in, you shall akal (eat) the yashan (old) store.
23 “‘The aratz (Earth/land) shall not be makar (sold) in perpetuity, for the aratz (Earth/land) is mine; for you are garayam (strangers) and live as thawashabayam (foreigners) with me.
24 In all the aratz (Earth/land) of your achazah (possession) you shall nathan (give) a gaalah (redemption) for the aratz (Earth/land).
25 “‘If your ach (brother/kinsman) becomes mawak (poor), and makar (sells) some of his achazah (possessions), then his kinsman who is next to him shall bawaa (bring), and gaal (redeem) that which his ach (brother/kinsman) has mamakar (sold).
26 If a ayash (man / husband) has no one to gaal (redeem) it, and he becomes prosperous and matzaa (finds) sufficient means to redeem it;
27 Then let him chashab (reckon) the shanay (second) since its mamakar (sale), and shawab (turn) the surplus to the ayash (man / husband) to whom he makar (sold) it; and he shall shawab (turn) to his property.
28 But if he isn't day (able) to matzaa (get) it back for himself, then what he has mamakar (sold) shall remain in the yad (hand) of him who has bought it until the shanah (year) of yawabal (jubilee): and in the yawabal (jubilee) it shall be released, and he shall shawab (turn) to his property.
29 “‘If a ayash (man / husband) makar (sells) a mawashab (dwelling) bayath (house) in a chawamah (walled) iyar (city), then he may gaalah (redeem) it within a shanah (whole) shanah (year) after it has been mamakar (sold). For a yawam (day) year he shall have the right of gaalah (redemption).
30 If it isn't gaal (redeemed) within the malaa (space) of a thamayam (complete / whole) shanah (year), then the bayath (house) that is in the chawamah (walled) iyar (city) shall be qawam (rise up) sure in perpetuity to him who bought it, throughout his dawar (generation / age / period). It shall not be released in the yawabal (jubilee).
31 But the bathay (houses) of the chatzarayam (villages) which have no chawamah (wall) around them shall be chashab (reckoned) with the shadah (fields) of the aratz (Earth/land): they may be gaalah (redeemed), and they shall be released in the yawabal (jubilee).
32 “‘Nevertheless the iray (cities) of the Lawayay (Levites), the bathay (houses) in the iray (cities) of their achazah (possession), the Lawayay (Levites) may gaalah (redeem) at any iwalam (eternity).
33 The Lawayay (Levites) may gaal (redeem) the bayath (house) that was mamakar (sold), and the iyar (city) of his achazah (possession), and it shall be released in the yawabal (jubilee); for the bathay (houses) of the iray (cities) of the Lawayay (Levites) are their achazah (possession) thawak (midst) the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel).
34 But the shadah (field) of the magarash (suburbs) of their iyar (cities) may not be makar (sold); for it is their iwalam (eternity) achazah (possession).
35 “‘If your ach (brother/kinsman) has become mawak (poor), and his mawat (hand) can't support him among you; then you shall uphold him. He shall chayah (live) with you like an gar (sojourner / stranger / foreigner) and a temporary resident.
36 Laqach (take / seize) no interest from him or profit, but yaraa (fear / be afraid) your Alahayam (); that your ach (brother/kinsman) may chayah (live) among you.
37 You shall not nathan (give) him your kasap (money) at interest, nor nathan (give) him your akal (food) for profit.
38 I am Yahawah () your Alahayam (), who yatzaa (go out / come out) you forth out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt), to nathan (give) you the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), and to be your Alahayam ().
39 “‘If your ach (brother/kinsman) has grown mawak (poor) among you, and makar (sells) himself to you; you shall not ibad (servant) him to ibadah (serve) as a ibad (servant).
40 As a hired shakayar (servant), and as a temporary resident, he shall be with you; he shall ibad (servant) with you until the shanah (year) of yawabal (jubilee):
41 Then he shall yatzaa (go out / come out) out from you, he and his ban (son) with him, and shall shawab (turn) to his own mashapachah (tribe / clan / family), and to the achazah (possession) of his ab (father).
42 For they are my ibad (servant), whom I yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt). They shall not be makar (sold) as ibad (servant).
43 You shall not radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue) over him with harshness, but shall yaraa (fear / be afraid) your Alahayam ().
44 “‘As for your male and your female slaves, whom you may have; of the gawayam (heathen) that are around you, from them you may qanah (buy) male and female amah (slaves).
45 Moreover of the banay (my son) of the aliens who live among you, of them you may qanah (buy), and of their mashapachah (tribe / clan / family) who are with you, which they have conceived in your aratz (Earth/land); and they will be your property.
46 You may make them an nachal (inheritance) for your banay (my son) achar (other) you, to hold for a achazah (possession); of them may you take your thaibadaw (slaves) iwalam (eternity): but over your ach (brother/kinsman) the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) you shall not radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue), ayash (man / husband) over ach (brother/kinsman), with harshness.
47 “‘If an alien or temporary resident with you becomes nashag (rich), and your ach (brother/kinsman) beside him has grown mawak (poor), and makar (sells) himself to the gar (sojourner / stranger / foreigner) or foreigner living among you, or to a member of the gar (sojourner / stranger / foreigner) mashapachah (tribe / clan / family);
48 Achar (other) he is makar (sold) he may be redeemed. Achad (one) of his ach (brother/kinsman) may gaal (redeem) him;
49 Or his dawad (uncle), or his dawad (uncle's) ban (son), may gaal (redeem) him, or any who is a close relative to him of his mashapachah (tribe / clan / family) may gaal (redeem) him; or if he has grown nashag (rich), he may gaal (redeem) yad (hand).
50 He shall chashab (reckon) with him who bought him from the shanah (year) that he makar (sold) himself to him to the shanah (year) of yawabal (jubilee): and the kasap (price) of his mamakar (sale) shall be according to the masapar (number) of shanayam (two); according to the yawam (day) of a hired shakayar (servant) shall he be with him.
51 If there are yet many shanayam (two), pah (according) to them he shall shawab (turn) back the price of his gaalah (redemption) out of the kasap (money) that he was maqanah (bought) for.
52 If there shaar (remain) but a mait (few) shanayam (two) to the shanah (year) of yawabal (jubilee), then he shall chashab (reckon) with him; pah (according) to his shanayam (two) of service he shall shawab (turn) back the price of his gaalah (redemption).
53 As a shakayar (servant) hired shanah (year) by year shall he be with him: he shall not radah (rule over / have dominion of / subdue) with harshness over him in your iyan (eye).
54 If he isn't gaal (redeemed) by these means, then he shall be released in the shanah (year) of yawabal (jubilee), he, and his ban (son) with him.
55 For to me the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) are ibadayam (servants); they are my ibadayam (servants) whom I yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt). I am Yahawah () your Alahayam ().
