2 “But who kawal (all) endure the yawam (day) of his bawaa (bring)? And who will imad (stand) when he raah (see / saw)? For he is like a refiner's ash (fire), and like launderer's’ soap;
3 And he will yashab (inhabit/dwell) as a refiner and purifier of kasap (silver), and he will tahar (purify) the banay (sons) of Laway (Levi), and zaqaq (refine) them as zahab (gold) and kasap (silver); and they shall nagash (offer) to Yahawah () manachah (offerings) in tzadaqah (righteousness).
4 Then the manachah (offering) of Yahawadah (Judah) and Yarawashalam (Jerusalem) will be irab (evening) to Yahawah (), as in the yamay (days) of iwalam (forever), and as in qadamawanay (ancient) shanayam (years).
5 I will qarab (come close) near to you to mashapat (judgment); and I will be a mahar (swift) id (until / as far as) against the makashapayam (sorcerers), and against the manaapayam (adulterers), and against the perjurers, and against those who ishaq (oppress) the shakayar (hireling) in his shakar (wages), the alamanah (widow), and the yathawam (fatherless), and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don't yaraa (fear / be afraid) me,” amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies).
6 “For I, Yahawah (), don't shanah (change); therefore you, banay (sons) of Yaiqab (Jacob), are not kalah (complete / finish).
7 From the yamay (days) of your ab (father) you have sawar (turned) aside from my chaq (statute), and have not shamar (keep/guard) them. Shawab (turn back / repent) to me, and I will shawab (turn back / repent) to you,” amaratham (says) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies). “But you amar (spoke), ‘How shall we shawab (turn back / repent)?’
8 Will a adam (man) qabai (rob) Alahayam ()? Yet you qabai (rob) me! But you amar (spoke), ‘How have we qabai (robbed) you?’ In maishar (tithes) and tharawamah (offerings).
9 You are arar (cursed) with the maarah (curse); for you qabai (rob) me, even this whole gaway (heathen / nation).
10 Bawaa (come) the whole maishar (tithe) into the awatzar (storehouse), that there may be food in my bayath (house), and test me now in zaath (this),” amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), “if I will not pathach (open) you the arabawath (windows) of shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens), and rawaq (pour) you out a barakah (blessing), that there shall not be room day (enough) for.
11 I will gair (rebuke) the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not shachath (destroy) the paray (fruits) of your adamah (ground); neither shall your gapan (vine) shakal (cast) its fruit before its time in the shadah (field),” amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies).
12 “All gawayam (nations) shall ashar (who/that) you blessed, for you will be a delightful aratz (Earth/land),” amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies).
13 “Your dabar (word / matter) have been chazaq (stout) amar (spoke) me,” says Yahawah (). “Yet you amar (spoke), ‘What have we dabar (word / matter) against you?’
14 You have amar (spoke), ‘It is shawaa (vanity) to ibad (servant) Alahayam ();’ and ‘What batzai (profit) is it that we have followed his instructions, and that we have halak (move) qadaranayath (mournfully) panayam (face) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies)?
15 Now we ashar (who/that) the zad (proud) ashar (who/that); yes, those who ishah (make) rashaih (wickedness) are banah (build) up; yes, they bachan (tempt) Alahayam (), and malat (escape).’
16 Then those who yaraa (fear / be afraid) Yahawah () dabar (word / matter) ayash (man / husband) with rai (neigbor/another person); and Yahawah () listened, and shamai (hearken / hear), and a sapar (book / scribed document) of memory was kathab (write) panayam (face) him, for those who yaraa (fear / be afraid) Yahawah (), and who honored his sham (name).
17 They shall be mine,” amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), “my own sagalah (possession) in the yawam (day) that I ishah (make), and I will chamal (spare) them, as a ayash (man / husband) chamal (spares) his own ban (son) who ibad (servant) him.
18 Then you shall shawab (turn back / repent) and raah (see) between the tzadayaq (righteous) and the rashai (wicked), between him who ibad (servant) Alahayam () and him who doesn't ibad (servant) him.
19 “For, behold, the yawam (day) bawaa (come), it bair (burns) as a thanawar (furnace); and all the zad (proud), and all who ishah (make) rashaih (wickedness), will be qash (stubble); and the yawam (day) that bawaa (come) will lahat (burn) them up,” amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaa (troop), “that it shall izab (leave) them neither sharash (root) nor inap (branch).
20 But to you who yaraa (fear) my sham (name) shall the shamash (sun) of tzadaqah (righteousness) arise with marapaa (healing) in its kanap (wings). You will yatzaa (go out / come out) out, and leap like calves of the marabaq (stall).
21 You shall isas (tread) down the rashai (wicked); for they will be ashes under the kap (soles) of your ragal (feet / foot) in the yawam (day) that I ishah (make),” amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaa (troop).
22 “Zakar (remember) the thawarah (Torah / Instruction) of Mashah (Moses) my ibad (servant), which I tzawah (commanded) to him in Charab (Horeb) for all Yashar-Al (Israel), even chaq (statute) and mashapat (ordinances).
23 Behold, I will shalach (send) you Alayah (Elijah) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) panayam (face) the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) and yaraa (fear / be afraid) yawam (day) of Yahawah () bawaa (come).
24 He will shawab (turn) the lab (heart) of the ab (father) to the ban (son), and the lab (heart) of the ban (son) to their ab (father), lest I bawaa (bring) and nakah (strike) the aratz (Earth/land) with a charam (curse).”
