1 Marayam (Miriam) and Aharawan (Aaron) dabar (word / matter) against Mashah (Moses) awadawath (because) of the Kawashayath (Cushite) ayashah (woman / wife) whom he had married; for he had married a Kawashayath (Cushite) ayashah (woman / wife).
2 They amar (spoke), “Has Yahawah () amar (spoke) spoken only with Mashah (Moses)? Hasn't he dabar (word / matter) also with us?” And Yahawah () shamai (hearken / hear) it.
3 Now the ayash (man / husband) Mashah (Moses) was very inaw (humble), above all the adam (men) who were on the surface of the adamah (earth).
4 Yahawah () amar (spoke) pathaawam (suddenly) to Mashah (Moses), to Aharawan (Aaron), and to Marayam (Miriam), “You shalawash (three) yatzaa (go out / come out) out to the ahal (tent) of Meeting!” The shalawash (three) of them yatzaa (go out / come out) out.
5 Yahawah () yarad (came) down in a imawad (pillar) of inan (cloud), and imad (stood) at the pathach (door) of the ahal (tent), and qaraa (called) Aharawan (Aaron) and Marayam (Miriam); and they shanayam (two) yatzaa (go out / come out) forward.
6 He amar (spoke), “shamai (hearken / hear) now my dabar (word / matter). If there is a nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) among you, I Yahawah () yadai (will) make myself known to him in a maraah (vision). I will dabar (word / matter) with him in a chalawam (dream).
7 My ibad (servant) Mashah (Moses) is not so. He is aman (believe / have faith) in all my bayath (house).
8 With him I will dabar (word / matter) pah (mouth) to pah (mouth), even plainly, and not in chayadath (riddles); and he shall nabat (see) Yahawah () form. Why then were you not yaraa (fear / be afraid) to dabar (word / matter) against my ibad (servant), against Mashah (Moses)?”
9 The ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) of Yahawah () was charah (hot with anger) against them; and he departed.
10 The inan (cloud) sawar (departed) from over the ahal (tent); and behold, Marayam (Miriam) was tzarai (leprous), as white as shalag (snow). Aharawan (Aaron) panah (turn) at Marayam (Miriam), and behold, she was tzarai (leprous).
11 Aharawan (Aaron) amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “Oh, my Adawan (), please don't count this chataah (sin) against us, in which we have yaal (done) foolishly, and in which we have chataa (sinned).
12 Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the bashar (flesh) is chatzay (half) akal (eat) when he yatzaa (go out / come out) out of his am (mother) racham (show mercy / love).”
13 Mashah (Moses) tzaiq (cried) to Yahawah (), amar (spoke), “rapaa (heal) her, Al, I beg you!”
14 Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “If her ab (father) had but yaraq (spit) in her panayam (face), shouldn't she be kalam (ashamed) shabai (seven) yamayam (days)? Let her be sagar (shut) up outside of the machanah (camp) shabai (seven) yamayam (days), and achar (other) that she shall be asap (brought) in again.”
15 Marayam (Miriam) was sagar (shut) up outside of the machanah (camp) shabai (seven) yamayam (days), and the im (nation / people) didn't travel until Marayam (Miriam) was asap (brought) in again.
16 Afterward the im (nation / people) traveled from Chatzarawath (Hazeroth), and chanah (encamped) in the madabar (wilderness) of Paaran (Paran).
