2 “Shalach (send) anashayam (men), that they may thawar (spy) out the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), which I nathan (give) to the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel). Of ayash (man / husband) matah (staff / rod / tribe) of their ab (father), you shall shalach (send) a achad (one), every one a nashayaa (prince) among them.”
3 Mashah (Moses) shalach (send) them from the madabar (wilderness) of Paaran (Paran) pah (according) to the commandment of Yahawah (): all of them anashayam (men) who were raashay (heads) of the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel).

17 Mashah (Moses) shalach (send) them to thawar (spy) out the aratz (Earth/land) of Kanain (Canaan), and amar (said) to them, “ilah (go up / offer) up this way by the nagab (south), and ilah (go up / offer) up into the har (mountain) country:
18 And raah (see / saw) the aratz (Earth/land), what it is; and the im (nation / people) who yashab (inhabit/dwell) therein, whether they are chazaq (strong) or rapah (weak), whether they are mait (few) or many;
19 And what the aratz (Earth/land) is that they yashab (inhabit/dwell) in, whether it is tawab (good / proper function) or rai (bad); and what irayam (cities) they are that they yashab (inhabit/dwell) in, whether in machanayam (camps), or in strongholds;
20 And what the aratz (Earth/land) is, whether it is shaman (fat) or razah (lean), whether there is itz (wood) therein, or not. Be courageous, and laqach (take / seize) of the paray (fruit) of the aratz (Earth/land).” Yawam (day) the time was the yawam (day) of the first-ripe inabayam (grapes).
21 So they ilah (go up / offer) up, and thawar (spied) out the aratz (Earth/land) from the madabar (wilderness) of Tzan (Zin) to Rachab (Rehob), to the entrance of Chamath (Hamath).
22 They ilah (go up / offer) up by the nagab (south), and bawaa (bring) to Chabarawan (Hebron); and Achayaman (Ahiman), Shashay (Sheshai), and Thalamay (Talmai), the yalayaday (children) of Inaq (Anak), were there. (Now Chabarawan (Hebron) was banah (build) shabai (seven) shanayam (two) panayam (face) Tzain (Zoan) in Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt).)
23 They bawaa (bring) to the nachal (stream / river) of Ashakal (Eshcol), and karath (cut) down from there a zamawarah (branch) with achad (one) ashakawal (cluster) of inabayam (grapes), and they nashaa (lift) it on a mawat (staff) between shanayam (two). They also brought some of the ramanayam (pomegranates) and thaanayam (figs).
24 That maqawam (place) was qaraa (called) the valley of Ashakal (Eshcol), awadawath (because) of the ashakawal (cluster) which the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) karath (cut) down from there.
25 They shawab (turn) from thawar (spying) out the aratz (Earth/land) at the qatz (end) of arabaiyam (forty) yawam (day).
26 They yalak (went) and bawaa (bring) to Mashah (Moses), and to Aharawan (Aaron), and to all the idah (congregation) of the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel), to the madabar (wilderness) of Paaran (Paran), to Qadash (set apart / make holy); and shawab (turn) back dabar (word / matter) to them, and to all the idah (congregation), and showed them the paray (fruit) of the aratz (Earth/land).
27 They sapar (book) him, and said, “We bawaa (bring) to the aratz (Earth/land) where you shalach (send) us; and surely it zawab (flow) with chalab (milk) and dabash (honey); and this is its paray (fruit).
28 However the im (nation / people) who yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the aratz (Earth/land) are iz (strong), and the irayam (cities) are batzar (fortified) and very large. Moreover, we raah (see / saw) the yaladay (children) of Inaq (Anak) there.
29 Imalaq (Amalek) yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the aratz (Earth/land) of the nagab (south): and the Chathay (Hittite), and the Yabawasay (Jebusite), and the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the har (mountain) country; and the Kanainay (Canaanite) yashab (inhabit/dwell) by the yam (sea/waters), and along by the yad (hand) of the Yaradan (Jordan).”
30 Kalab (Caleb) hasah (stilled) the im (nation / people) before Mashah (Moses), and amar (said), “Let us ilah (go up / offer) up at ilah (go up / offer), and yarash (possess) it; for we are well yakal (able) to yakal (overcome) it.”
31 But the anashayam (men) who ilah (go up / offer) up with him amar (said), “We aren't yakal (able) to ilah (go up / offer) up against the im (nation / people); for they are chazaq (stronger) than we.”
32 They yatzaa (go out / come out) up an dabah (evil) report of the aratz (Earth/land) which they had thawar (spied) out to the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel), amar (said), “The aratz (Earth/land), ibar (pass over/through) which we have gone to thawar (spy) it out, is a aratz (Earth/land) that akal (eat) up its yashab (inhabit/dwell); and all the im (nation / people) who we raah (see / saw) in it are banay (my son) of great madah (stature).
33 There we raah (see / saw) the Nephilim, the banay (my son) of Inaq (Anak), who come of the Nephilim: and we were in our own iyan (eye) as grasshoppers, and so we were in their iyan (eye).”
