The Kanainay (Canaanite), the malak (king) of Irad (Arad), who lived in the nagab (south), shamai (hearken / hear) tell that Yashar-Al (Israel) bawaa (bring) by the darak (way) of Atharayam (Atharim); and he lacham (fought) against Yashar-Al (Israel), and shabah (took) some of them shabay (captive).
Yashar-Al (Israel) nadar (make vow) a nadar (vow) to Yahawah (), and amar (spoke), “If you will nathan (give) nathan (give) this im (nation / people) into my yad (hand), then I will utterly charam (destroy) their iyar (cities).”
Yahawah () shamai (hearken / hear) to the qawal (sound / voice) of Yashar-Al (Israel), and nathan (give) up the Kanainay (Canaanites); and they charam (utterly) destroyed them and their iyar (cities): and the sham (name) of the maqawam (place) was qaraa (called) Charamah (Hormah).
They traveled from har (mountain) Har (mountain) by the darak (way) to the sawap (red) yam (sea/waters), to sabab (compass) the aratz (Earth/land) of Adawam (Edom): and the napash (soul) of the im (nation / people) was much qatzar (discouraged) because of the darak (way).
The im (nation / people) dabar (word / matter) against Alahayam (), and against Mashah (Moses), “Why have you ilah (go up / offer) us up out of Matzarayam (Egypt) to mawath (death) in the madabar (wilderness)? For there is no lacham (bread), and there is no mayam (Waters); and our napash (soul) qawatz (loathes) this qalaqal (light) lacham (bread).”
Yahawah () shalach (send) sharap (fiery) nachashayam (serpents) among the im (nation / people), and they bit the im (nation / people); and many im (nation / people) of Yashar-Al (Israel) mawath (death).
The im (nation / people) bawaa (come) to Mashah (Moses), and amar (spoke), “We have chataa (sinned), because we have amar (spoke) against Yahawah (), and against you. Palal (pray) to Yahawah (), that he sawar (take) away the nachash (serpents) from us.” Mashah (Moses) palal (prayed) for the im (nation / people).
Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “ishah (make) a sharap (fiery) serpent, and shawam (place / establish / appoint) it on a nas (standard): and it shall happen, that everyone who is bitten, when he raah (see) it, shall live.”
Mashah (Moses) ishah (make) a nachash (serpent) of nachashath (brass), and shawam (place / establish / appoint) it on the nas (standard): and it happened, that if a nachash (serpent) had bitten any ayash (man / husband), when he nabat (looked) to the nachash (serpent) of nachashath (brass), he chayay (life).
The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) traveled, and chanah (encamped) in Abath (Oboth).
They traveled from Abath (Oboth), and chanah (encamped) at Iyayahaibarayam (Iyeabarim), in the madabar (wilderness) which is panayam (face) Mawaab (Moab), toward the sunrise.
From there they traveled, and chanah (encamped) in the nachal (stream / river) of Zarad (Zered).
From there they traveled, and chanah (encamped) on the other ibar (side) of the Aranawan (Arnon), which is in the madabar (wilderness), that yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the gabawal (border/boundary) of the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite): for the Aranawan (Arnon) is the gabawal (border/boundary) of Mawaab (Moab), between Mawaab (Moab) and the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite).
Therefore it is amar (spoke) in the sapar (book / scribed document) of the malachamath (wars) of Yahawah (), “Wahab (Vaheb) in Suphah, the nachalayam (valleys) of the Aranawan (Arnon),
The slope of the nachalayam (valleys) that natah (incline) toward the yashab (inhabit/dwell) of Ir (Ar), shain (leans) on the gabawal (border/boundary) of Mawaab (Moab).”
From there they traveled to Baar (Beer): that is the baar (well) of which Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “asap (gather) the im (nation / people) asap (together), and I will nathan (give) them mayam (Waters).”
Then shayar (sang) Yashar-Al (Israel) this shayar (song): “ilah (go up / offer) up, baar (well); inah (answer / respond) to it:
The baar (well), which the sharayam (princes) chapar (dug), which the nadayabay (nobles) of the im (nation / people) karah (dug), with the scepter, and with their poles.” From the madabar (wilderness) they traveled to Mathanah (Mattanah);
And from Mathanah (Mattanah) to Nachalayaal (Nahaliel); and from Nachalayaal (Nahaliel) to Bamawath (Bamoth);
And from Bamawath (Bamoth) to the gayaa (valley) that is in the shadah (field) of Mawaab (Moab), to the raash (head) of Pasagah (Pisgah), which shaqap (looks) down on the yashayamawan (desert).
Yashar-Al (Israel) shalach (send) malaakayam (messengers) to Sayachawan (Sihon) malak (king) of the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), amar (said),
“Let me ibar (pass over/through) through your aratz (Earth/land): we will not natah (turn) aside into shadah (field), or into karam (vineyard); we will not shathah (drinks) of the mayam (Waters) of the baar (wells): we will yalak (go) by the malak (king) darak (highway), until we ibar (pass over/through) passed your gabawal (border/boundary).”
Sayachawan (Sihon) nathan (give) not allow Yashar-Al (Israel) to ibar (pass over/through) through his gabawal (border/boundary): but Sayachawan (Sihon) asap (gathered) all his im (nation / people) asap (together), and yatzaa (go out / come out) out qaraah (against) Yashar-Al (Israel) into the madabar (wilderness), and bawaa (bring) to Yahatz (Jahaz); and he lacham (fought) against Yashar-Al (Israel).
Yashar-Al (Israel) nakah (struck) him with the pah (edge) of the charab (sword), and yarash (possessed) his aratz (Earth/land) from the Aranawan (Arnon) to the Yabaq (Jabbok), even to the banay (my son) of Imawan (Ammon); for the gabawal (border/boundary) of the banay (my son) of Imawan (Ammon) was iz (strong).
Yashar-Al (Israel) laqach (take / seize) all these irayam (cities): and Yashar-Al (Israel) lived in all the irayam (cities) of the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), in Chashabawan (Heshbon), and in all its banath (daughter).
For Chashabawan (Heshbon) was the iyar (city) of Sayachawan (Sihon) the malak (king) of the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), who had lacham (fought) against the raashawan (former) malak (king) of Mawaab (Moab), and laqach (take / seize) all his aratz (Earth/land) out of his yad (hand), even to the Aranawan (Arnon).
Therefore those who mashal (speak in proverb/parable) in proverbs amar (said), “bawaa (bring) to Chashabawan (Heshbon). Let the iyar (city) of Sayachawan (Sihon) be banah (build) and kawan (established);
For a ash (fire) yatzaa (go out / come out) gone out of Chashabawan (Heshbon), a lahabah (flame) from the qarayah (city / town) of Sayachawan (Sihon). It has akal (eat) Ir (Ar) of Mawaab (Moab), The bailay (lords) of the high places of the Aranawan (Arnon).
Away (woe) to you, Mawaab (Moab)! You are abad (destroy / perish), im (nation / people) of Kamawash (Chemosh)! He nathan (give) given his ban (son) as palayatam (fugitives), and his banath (daughter) into shabay (captivity), to Sayachawan (Sihon) malak (king) of the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite).
We have yarah (shot) at them. Chashabawan (Heshbon) abad (destroy / perish) perished even to Dayabawan (Dibon). We have shamam (laid) waste even to Napach (Nophah), Which reaches to May-Dabaa (Medeba).”
Thus Yashar-Al (Israel) lived in the aratz (Earth/land) of the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite).
Mashah (Moses) shalach (send) to ragal (spy) out Yaizayar (Jazer); and they lakad (took) its banath (daughter), and yarash (drove) out the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite) who were there.
They panah (turn) and ilah (go up / offer) up by the darak (way) of Bashan (Bashan): and Iwag (Og) the malak (king) of Bashan (Bashan) yatzaa (go out / come out) out qaraah (against) them, he and all his im (nation / people), to malachamah (battle) at Adaraiy (Edrei).
Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “Don't yaraa (fear / be afraid) him: for I nathan (give) delivered him into your yad (hand), and all his im (nation / people), and his aratz (Earth/land); and you shall ishah (make) to him as you ishah (make) to Sayachawan (Sihon) malak (king) of the Amaray (Amorites), who lived at Chashabawan (Heshbon).”
So they nakah (struck) him, and his ban (son) and all his im (nation / people), until there was balathay (without) shaar (left) him sharayad (remaining): and they yarash (possessed) his aratz (Earth/land).
