When a raash (head) vows a vow to Yahawah (), or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his dabar (word / matter); he shall dabar (word / matter) according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

“Also when a woman nadar (make vow) a nadar (vow) to Yahawah (), and asar (binds) herself by a asar (bond), being in her father's house, in her youth,

And her ab (father) hears her nadar (vow), and her asar (bond) with which she has asar (bound) her soul, and her ab (father) holds his peace at her; then all her nadar (vow) shall stand, and every asar (bond) with which she has asar (bound) her soul shall stand.

But if her ab (father) disallow her in the day that he shamai (hearken / hear), none of her nadar (vow), or of her asar (bonds) with which she has asar (bound) her napash (soul), shall qawam (rise up): and Yahawah () will forgive her, because her ab (father) disallowed her.

And her ayash (man / husband) hears it, and hold his peace at her in the hayah (came to pass) that he hears it; then her nadar (vow) shall stand, and her asar (bonds) with which she has asar (bound) her napash (soul) shall stand.

But if her ayash (man / husband) forbids her in the yawam (day) that he shamai (hearken / hear) it, then he shall make void her nadar (vow) which is on her, and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has asar (bound) her napash (soul): and Yahawah () will forgive her.

“But the nadar (vow) of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has asar (bound) her napash (soul), shall stand against her.

And her ayash (man / husband) heard it, and held his peace at her, and didn't disallow her; then all her nadar (vow) shall stand, and every asar (bond) with which she asar (bound) her napash (soul) shall stand.

But if her ayash (man / husband) shamai (hearken / hear) them null and void in the day that he shamai (hearken / hear) them, then whatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her nadar (vow), or concerning the asar (bond) of her napash (soul), shall not qawam (rise up): her ayash (man / husband) has shamai (hearken / hear) them void; and Yahawah () will forgive her.

Every nadar (vow), and every asar (binding) oath to afflict the napash (soul), her ayash (man / husband) may qawam (rise up) it, or her ayash (man / husband) may parar (make) it void.
