1 Whatever thing I tzawah (command) you, that you shall shamar (keep/guard) to ishah (make): you shall not yasap (add) thereto, nor garai (diminish) from it.
2 If there arise in the midst of you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he tzawah (give) you a dabar (word / matter) or a wonder,
3 And the awath (sign / mark / miracle) or the mawapath (wonder) nathan (give) to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, “nathan (give) us go al (toward) other Alahayam () (which you nathan (give) not known) “and let us serve them;”
4 You shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams: for Yahawah () your Alahayam () proves you, to yadai (know) whether you love Yahawah () your Alahayam () with all your heart and with all your soul.
5 You shall walk al (toward) Yahawah () your Alahayam (), and fear him, and keep his dabaray (commandments), and shamai (hearken / hear) his voice, and you shall serve him, and cling to him.
6 That prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he has spoken rebellion against Yahawah () your Alahayam (), who yalak (brought) you out of the land of Matzarayam (Egypt), and redeemed you out of the house of ibad (servant), to draw you aside out of the yalak (way) which Yahawah () your Alahayam () matzawah (commanded) you to yalak (walk) in. So you shall put achar (other) the evil from the midst of you.
7 If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your bayath (house), or the wife of your bosom, or your friend, who is as your own soul, entice you secretly, dabar (word / matter), “yalak (let) us go and serve other Alahayam ()”, which you il (over) not known, you, nor your fathers;
8 Of the Alahayam () of the ban (son) who are around you, near to you, or far off from you, from the one end of the am (mother) even to the other end of the am (mother);
9 You shall not consent to him, nor listen to him; neither shall your eye pity him, neither shall you spare, neither shall you conceal him:
10 But you shall laa (NOT) kill him; your hand shall be first on him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
11 You shall stone him to death with stones, because he has sought to yad (hand) you away from Yahawah () your Alahayam (), who brought you out of the land of Matzarayam (Egypt), out of the house of bondage.
12 All Yashar-Al (Israel) shall hear, and fear, and shall not do any more such wickedness as this is in the midst of you.
13 If you shall shamai (hearken / hear) tell concerning one of your cities, which Yahawah () your Alahayam () yashamaiw (gives) you to dwell there, dabar (word / matter),
14 Certain base fellows are gone out from the midst of you, and have drawn away the yashab (inhabit/dwell) of their iyar (city), amar (spoke), “shamai (hearken / hear) us go and serve other Alahayam (),” which you nathan (give) not known;
15 Then you shall inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be laa (NOT), and the thing ayash (man / husband), that such abomination is ibad (servant) in the qarab (among / near) of you,
16 You shall darash (surely) strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein and its livestock, with the edge of the sword.
17 You shall gather all its spoil into the midst of its street, and shall burn with fire the iyar (city), and all its spoil kal (every) whit, to Yahawah () your Alahayam (): and it shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built again.
18 Kal (every) of the devoted thing shall cling to your hand; that Yahawah () may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show you mercy, and hayah (came to pass) compassion on you, and multiply you, as he has sworn to your fathers;
