1 There was a ayash (man / husband) of the har (mountain) country of Aparayam (Ephraim), whose sham (name) was Mayakahaw (Micah).
2 He amar (spoke) to his am (mother), “The eleven hundred pieces of kasap (silver) that were laqach (take / seize) from you, about which you uttered a alah (swear / adjure), and also amar (spoke) it in my azan (ear), behold, the kasap (silver) is with me; I laqach (take / seize) it.” His am (mother) amar (spoke), “barak (blessed) be my ban (son) of Yahawah ().”
3 He shawab (turn back / repent) the eleven hundred pieces of kasap (silver) to his am (mother); and his am (mother) amar (spoke), “I most certainly qadash (set apart / make holy) the kasap (silver) to Yahawah () from my yad (hand) for my ban (son), to ishah (make) an engraved pasal (image) and a molten pasal (image). Now therefore I will shawab (turn back / repent) it to you.”
4 When he shawab (turn) the kasap (money) to his am (mother), his am (mother) laqach (take / seize) two maah (hundred) pieces of kasap (silver), and nathan (give) them to the tzarap (founder), who ishah (make) of it an engraved pasal (image) and a masakah (molten) image: and it was in the bayath (house) of Mayakahaw (Micah).
5 The ayash (man / husband) Mayakah (Micah) had a bayath (house) of Alahayam (), and he ishah (make) an apawad (ephod), and tharapayam (teraphim), and malaa (consecrated) achad (one) of his ban (son), who became his kahan (priest).
6 In those yamayam (days) there was no malak (king) in Yashar-Al (Israel): every ayash (man / husband) ishah (make) that which was yashar (upright) in his own iyan (eye).

9 Mayakah (Micah) amar (said) to him, “ayan (NO ONE) did you bawaa (bring) from?” He amar (said) to him, “I am a Lawayay (Levite) of Bayath-Lacham (Bethlehem Judah), and I am looking for a halak (move) to live.”
10 Mayakah (Micah) amar (said) to him, “yashab (inhabit/dwell) with me, and be to me a ab (father) and a kahan (priest), and I will nathan (give) you ishar (ten) pieces of kasap (silver) per yawam (day), a irak (suit) of bagad (clothing), and your food.” So the Lawayay (Levite) yalak (went) in.
11 The Lawayay (Levite) was yaal (content) to yashab (inhabit/dwell) with the ayash (man / husband); and the young ayash (man / husband) was to him as nair (one) of his ban (son).
12 Mayakah (Micah) malaa (consecrated) the Lawayay (Levite), and the nair (young) man became his kahan (priest), and was in the bayath (house) of Mayakah (Micah).
13 Then Mayakah (Micah) amar (spoke), “Now yadai (know) I that Yahawah () will do yatab (good) to me, since I have a Lawayay (Levite) to my kahan (priest).”
