The zaqanay (elders) of Galaid (Gilead) amar (said) to Yapathach (Jephthah), “Therefore we have shawab (turn) again to you now, that you may halak (move) with us, and lacham (fight) with the banay (my son) of Imawan (Ammon); and you shall be our raash (head) over all the yashabay (inhabitants) of Galaid (Gilead).”
