Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke) to Shaawal (Saul), “Yahawah () shalach (send) me to mashach (anoint) you to be malak (king) over his im (nation / people), over Yashar-Al (Israel). Now therefore shamai (hearken / hear) to the qawal (sound / voice) of the dabaray (words) of Yahawah ().
Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah () of tzabaawath (armies), ‘I paqad (visit) marked that which Imalaq (Amalek) ishah (make) to Yashar-Al (Israel), how he shawam (place / establish / appoint) himself against him in the darak (way), when he ilah (go up / offer) up out of Matzarayam (Egypt).
Now yalak (go) and nakah (strike) Imalaq (Amalek), and utterly charam (destroy) all that they chamal (have), and don't spare them; but mawath (death) both ayash (man / husband) and ayashah (woman / wife), iwalal (infant) and yanaq (nursing) baby, shawar (ox) and shah (sheep), gamal (camel) and donkey.’”
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) summoned the im (nation / people), and paqad (visit) them in Talaayam (Telaim), two maah (hundred) alap (thousand) footmen, and ishar (ten) alap (thousand) men of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah).
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) bawaa (bring) to the iyar (city) of Imalaq (Amalek), and rayab (laid) wait in the nachal (stream / river).
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) amar (said) to the Qayanay (Kenites), “yalak (go), sawar (depart), yarad (go) down from thawak (midst) the Imalaq (Amalekites), lest I asap (destroy) you with them; for you showed chasad (grace) to all the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel), when they ilah (go up / offer) up out of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt).” So the Qayanay (Kenites) sawar (departed) from thawak (midst) the Imalaqay (Amalekites).
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) nakah (struck) the Imalaq (Amalekites), from Chawayalah (Havilah) as you bawaa (bring) to Shawar (Shur), that is panayam (face) Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt).
He thapash (took) Agag (Agag) the malak (king) of the Imalaq (Amalekites) chay (life), and charam (utterly) destroyed all the im (nation / people) with the pah (edge) of the charab (sword).
But Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) and the im (nation / people) chamal (spared) Agag (Agag), and the mayatab (best) of the tzaan (sheep), and of the cattle, and of the mashanayam (fatlings), and the karayam (lambs), and all that was tawab (good / proper function), and wouldn't utterly charam (destroy) them: but everything that was namabazah (vile) and masas (refuse), that they charam (destroyed) utterly.
Then the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah () came to Shamawaal (Samuel), amar (spoke),
“It grieves me that I have malak (king) up Shaawal (Saul) to be malak (king); for he is shawab (turn back / repent) back from achar (other) me, and has not qawam (rise up) my commandments.” Shamawaal (Samuel) was charah (hot with anger); and he zaiq (cried) to Yahawah () all layal (night).
Shamawaal (Samuel) shakam (rose) early to qaraa (called) Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) in the baqar (morning); and it was nagad (told) Shamawaal (Samuel), amar (said), “Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) bawaa (bring) to Karamal (Carmel), and behold, he natzab (set) up a monument for himself, and sabab (turned), and ibar (pass over/through) on, and yarad (went) down to Galagal (Gilgal).”
Shamawaal (Samuel) bawaa (come) to Shaawal (Saul); and Shaawal (Saul) amar (spoke) to him, “You are barak (blessed) by Yahawah ()! I have qawam (rise up) the commandment of Yahawah ().”
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (said), “Then what does this qawal (sound / voice) of the tzaan (sheep) in my azan (ear), and the qawal (sound / voice) of the cattle which I shamai (hearken / hear) mean?”
Shaawal (Saul) amar (spoke), “They bawaa (come) brought them from the Imalaqay (Amalekites); for the im (nation / people) chamal (spared) the mayatab (best) of the tzaan (sheep) and of the cattle, to zabach (sacrifice) to Yahawah () your Alahayam (). We charam (have) utterly destroyed the yathar (rest).”
Then Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke) to Shaawal (Saul), “rapah (stay), and I will nagad (tell) you what Yahawah () has dabar (word / matter) to me last layal (night).” He dabar (word / matter) to him, “dabar (word / matter) on.”
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke), “Though you were qatan (small / young / least) in your own iyan (eye), weren't you made the raash (head) of the shabatay (tribes) of Yashar-Al (Israel)? Yahawah () mashach (anointed) you malak (king) over Yashar-Al (Israel);
And Yahawah () shalach (send) you on a darak (journey), and amar (spoke), ‘yalak (go), and utterly charam (destroy) the chataayam (sinners) the Imalaq (Amalekites), and lacham (fight) against them until they are kalah (complete / finish).’
Why then didn't you shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah (), but took the shalal (spoils), and ishah (make) that which was rai (evil) in the iyan (eye) of Yahawah ()?”
Shaawal (Saul) amar (spoke) to Shamawaal (Samuel), “But I have shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah (), and have yalak (gone) the darak (way) which Yahawah () shalach (send) me, and bawaa (come) brought Agag (Agag) the malak (king) of Imalaq (Amalek), and charam (have) utterly destroyed the Imalaq (Amalekites).
But the im (nation / people) laqach (take / seize) of the shalal (spoil), tzaan (sheep) and cattle, the raashayath (beginning) of the charam (devoted) things, to zabach (sacrifice) to Yahawah () your Alahayam () in Galagal (Gilgal).”
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke), “Has Yahawah () as great chapatz (delight) in burnt ilawath (offerings) and zabachayam (sacrifices), as in shamai (hearken / hear) the qawal (sound / voice) of Yahawah ()? Behold, to shamai (hearken / hear) is tawab (good / proper function) than zabach (sacrifice), and to shamai (hearken / hear) than the chalab (fat) of ayalayam (rams).
For rebellion is as the chataah (sin) of qasam (witchcraft), and patzar (stubbornness) is as tharapayam (idolatry) and teraphim. Because you have maas (rejected) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), he has also maas (rejected) you from being malak (king).”
Shaawal (Saul) amar (spoke) to Shamawaal (Samuel), “I have chataa (sinned); for I ibar (pass over/through) transgressed the commandment of Yahawah (), and your dabar (word / matter), because I yaraa (fear / be afraid) the im (nation / people), and shamai (hearken / hear) their qawal (sound / voice).
Now therefore, please nashaa (lift) my chataah (sin), and shawab (turn back / repent) again with me, that I may shachah (worship) Yahawah ().”
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke) to Shaawal (Saul), “I will not shawab (turn back / repent) with you; for you have maas (rejected) the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), and Yahawah () has maas (rejected) you from being malak (king) over Yashar-Al (Israel).”
As Shamawaal (Samuel) sabab (turned) about to yalak (go) away, Shaawal (Saul) grabbed the kanap (skirt) of his maiyal (robe), and it qarai (tore).
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke) to him, “Yahawah () has qarai (torn) the mamalakawath (kingdom) of Yashar-Al (Israel) from you this yawam (day), and nathan (give) given it to a neighbor of yours who is tawab (good / proper function) than you.
Also the natzach (strength) of Yashar-Al (Israel) will not shaqar (lie) nor nacham (turn away / repent); for he is not a adam (man), that he should nacham (turn away / repent).”
Then he amar (spoke), “I have chataa (sinned): yet please honor me now before the zaqanay (elders) of my im (nation / people), and before Yashar-Al (Israel), and shawab (turn back / repent) back with me, that I may shachah (worship) Yahawah () your Alahayam ().”
So Shamawaal (Samuel) shawab (turn back / repent) back with Shaawal (Saul); and Shaawal (Saul) shachah (worshiped) Yahawah ().
Then Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (said), “nagash (bring) here to me Agag (Agag) the malak (king) of the Imalaq (Amalekites)!” Agag (Agag) yalak (came) to him cheerfully. Agag (Agag) amar (said), “akan (surely) the bitterness of mawath (death) is sawar (past).”
Shamawaal (Samuel) amar (spoke), “As your charab (sword) has made nashayam (women) shakal (childless), so your am (mother) will be shakal (childless) among nashayam (women)!” Shamawaal (Samuel) cut Agag (Agag) in shasap (pieces) panayam (face) Yahawah () in Galagal (Gilgal).
Then Shamawaal (Samuel) yalak (went) to Ramah (Ramah); and Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) ilah (go up / offer) up to his bayath (house) to Gabaih (Gibeah) of Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife).
Shamawaal (Samuel) yasap (came) no more to raah (see) Shaawal (Saul) until the yawam (day) of his mawath (death); for Shamawaal (Samuel) abal (mourned) for Shaawal (Saul): and Yahawah () grieved that he had made Shaawal (Saul) malak (king) over Yashar-Al (Israel).
