The zapayam (ziphites) bawaa (bring) to Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) to Gabaih (Gibeah), amar (said), “Doesn't Dawad (David) sathar (hide) himself in the gabaih (hill) of Chakayalah (Hachilah), which is panayam (face) the yashayamawan (desert)?”
Then Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) qawam (rise up), and yarad (went) down to the madabar (wilderness) of Zayap (Ziph), having shalawash (three) alap (thousand) bachar (chosen) ayash (man / husband) of Yashar-Al (Israel) with him, to baqash (seek) Dawad (David) in the madabar (wilderness) of Zayap (Ziph).
Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) chanah (encamped) in the gabaih (hill) of Chakayalah (Hachilah), which is panayam (face) the yashayamawan (desert), by the darak (way). But Dawad (David) stayed in the madabar (wilderness), and he raah (see / saw) that Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) bawaa (bring) achar (other) him into the madabar (wilderness).
Dawad (David) therefore shalach (send) out maragalayam (spies), and yadai (understood) that Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) had certainly bawaa (bring).
Dawad (David) qawam (rise up), and bawaa (bring) to the maqawam (place) where Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) had chanah (encamped); and Dawad (David) raah (see / saw) the maqawam (place) where Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) shakab (lay), and Abanar (Abner) the ban (son) of Nar (Ner), the shar (prince / ruler) of his tzabaa (troop): and Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) shakab (lay) within the place of the wagons, and the im (nation / people) were chanah (encamped) around him.
Then inah (answer / respond) Dawad (David) and amar (said) to Achayamalak (Ahimelech) the Chathay (Hittite), and to Abayashay (Abishai) the ban (son) of Tzarawayah (Zeruiah), ach (brother/kinsman) to Yawaab (Yawaab / Joab), amar (said), “Who will yarad (go) down with me to Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) to the machanah (camp)?” Abayashay (Abishai) amar (said), “I will yarad (go) down with you.”
So Dawad (David) and Abayashay (Abishai) bawaa (bring) to the im (nation / people) by layal (night): and, behold, Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) shakab (lay) yashan (sleeping) within the place of the wagons, with his chanayath (spear) maik (stuck) in the aratz (Earth/land) at his maraashah (head); and Abanar (Abner) and the im (nation / people) shakab (lay) around him.
Then Abayashay (Abishai) amar (spoke) to Dawad (David), “Alahayam () has sagar (delivered) up your ayab (enemy) into your yad (hand) this yawam (day). Now therefore please let me nakah (strike) him with the chanayath (spear) to the aratz (Earth/land) at paim (one) stroke, and I will not strike him the shanah (second) time.”
Dawad (David) amar (spoke) to Abayashay (Abishai), “Don't shachath (destroy) him; for who can shalach (send) forth his yad (hand) against Yahawah () mashayach (anointed one), and be naqah (clean/innocent)?”
Dawad (David) amar (spoke), “As Yahawah () chay (life), Yahawah () will nagap (strike) him; or his yawam (day) shall bawaa (come) to mawath (death); or he shall bawaa (come) down into malachamah (battle) and sapah (perish).
Yahawah () chalayalah (forbid) that I should shalach (send) forth my yad (hand) against Yahawah () mashayach (anointed one); but now please laqach (take / seize) the chanayath (spear) that is at his maraashah (head), and the jar of mayam (Waters), and yalak (let) us go.”
So Dawad (David) laqach (take / seize) the chanayath (spear) and the jar of mayam (Waters) from Shaawal (Saul's) raashath (head); and they yalak (went) away: and no man raah (see) it, nor yadai (knew) it, neither did any qawatz (awake); for they were all asleep, because a tharadamah (deep) sleep from Yahawah () was napal (fall / be cast down) on them.
Then Dawad (David) ibar (pass over/through) over to the other ibar (side), and imad (stood) on the raash (head) of the har (mountain) rachawaq (afar) off; a rab (great) maqawam (place) being between them;
And Dawad (David) qaraa (called) to the im (nation / people), and to Abanar (Abner) the ban (son) of Nar (Ner), amar (said), “Don't you inah (answer / respond), Abanar (Abner)?” Then Abanar (Abner) inah (answer / respond), “Who are you who qaraa (called) to the malak (king)?”
Dawad (David) amar (spoke) to Abanar (Abner), “Aren't you a ayash (man / husband)? Who is like you in Yashar-Al (Israel)? Why then have you not shamar (keep/guard) watch over your Adawan (), the malak (king)? For achad (one) of the im (nation / people) bawaa (come) in to shachath (destroy) the malak (king) your Adawan ().
This thing isn't tawab (good / proper function) that you ishah (make) done. As Yahawah () chay (life), you are ban (son) to mawath (death), because you have not shamar (keep/guard) watch over your Adawan (), Yahawah () mashayach (anointed one). Now raah (see) where the malak (king) chanayath (spear) is, and the jar of mayam (Waters) that was at his maraashah (head).”
Shaawal (Saul) nakar (knew) Dawad (David's) qawal (sound / voice), and amar (spoke), “Is this your qawal (sound / voice), my ban (son) Dawad (David)?” Dawad (David) amar (spoke), “It is my qawal (sound / voice), my Adawan (), O malak (king).”
He amar (spoke), “Why does my Adawan () radap (pursue) achar (other) his ibad (servant)? For what ishah (make) I done? Or what rai (evil) is in my yad (hand)?
Now therefore, please let my Adawan () the malak (king) shamai (hearken / hear) the dabaray (words) of his ibad (servant). If it is so that Yahawah () has sawath (stirred) you up against me, let him rawach (spirit / wind) an manachah (offering). But if it is the banay (children) of adam (men), they are arar (cursed) panayam (face) Yahawah (); for they have garash (driven) me out this yawam (day) that I shouldn't cling to Yahawah () nachalah (inheritance), amar (spoke), ‘yalak (go), ibad (servant) other Alahayam ()!’
Now therefore, don't let my dam (blood) napal (fall / be cast down) to the aratz (Earth/land) away from the panayam (face) of Yahawah (); for the malak (king) of Yashar-Al (Israel) yatzaa (go out / come out) come out to baqash (seek) a paraish (flea), as when one radap (hunts) a qaraa (called) in the harayam (mountains).”
Then Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) amar (said), “I have chataa (sinned). Shawab (turn), my ban (son) Dawad (David); for I will no more raii (wicked / dysfunctional / evil) you harm, because my napash (soul) was yaqar (precious) in your iyan (eye) this yawam (day). Behold, I have sakal (played) the fool, and have shagah (erred) rabah (exceedingly).”
Dawad (David) inah (answer / respond), “Behold the chanayath (spear), O malak (king)! Then let achad (one) of the nair (young) men ibar (pass over/through) over and laqach (take / seize) it.
Yahawah () will shawab (turn back / repent) to every ayash (man / husband) his tzadaqah (righteousness) and his amawanah (faithfulness); because Yahawah () nathan (give) you into my yad (hand) today, and I wouldn't shalach (send) forth my yad (hand) against Yahawah () mashayach (anointed one).
Behold, as your napash (soul) was respected this yawam (day) in my iyanay (eyes), so let my napash (soul) be respected in the iyanay (eyes) of Yahawah (), and let him natzal (deliver) me out of all oppression.”
Then Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) amar (said) to Dawad (David), “You are barak (blessed), my ban (son) Dawad (David). You shall both ishah (make) mightily, and shall surely yakal (prevail).” So Dawad (David) yalak (went) his darak (way), and Shaawal (Sheol / afterlife) shawab (turn) to his maqawam (place).
