Rachabaim (Rehoboam) yalak (went) to Shakam (Shechem); for all Yashar-Al (Israel) bawaa (bring) come to Shakam (Shechem) to make him malak (king).
It happened, when Yarabaim (Jeroboam) the ban (son) of Nabat (Nebat) shamai (hearken / hear) of it, (for he was in Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), where he had barach (fled) from the panayam (face) of malak (king) Shalamah (Solomon - Patriarch)), that Yarabaim (Jeroboam) shawab (turn) out of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt).
They shalach (send) and qaraa (called) him; and Yarabaim (Jeroboam) and all Yashar-Al (Israel) bawaa (bring), and they dabar (word / matter) to Rachabaim (Rehoboam), amar (said),
“Your ab (father) made our il (over) qashah (rough / hard): now therefore make you the qashah (rough / hard) ibadah (service) of your ab (father), and his kabad (heavy) il (over) which he nathan (give) on us, lighter, and we will ibad (servant) you.”
He amar (said) to them, “shawab (turn) again to me after shalawash (three) yamayam (days).” The im (nation / people) departed.
Malak (king) Rachabaim (Rehoboam) took yaitz (counsel) with the zaqan (old) men, who had imad (stood) panayam (face) Shalamah (Solomon - Patriarch) his ab (father) while he yet chay (life), amar (said), “ayak (what) yaitz (counsel) do you give me to shawab (turn) dabar (word / matter) to this im (nation / people)?”
They dabar (word / matter) to him, amar (said), “If you are kind to this im (nation / people), and ratzah (please) them, and dabar (word / matter) tawab (good / proper function) dabarayam (words) to them, then they will be your ibadayam (servants) yawam (day).”
But he forsook the itzah (counsel) of the zaqan (old) men which they had yaitz (given) him, and took yaitz (counsel) with the yalad (birth / begot) men who had gadal (grown) up with him, who imad (stood) panayam (face) him.
He amar (said) to them, “What yaitz (counsel) do you give, that we may shawab (turn) dabar (word / matter) to this im (nation / people), who have dabar (word / matter) to me, amar (said), ‘Make the il (over) that your ab (father) nathan (give) on us lighter?’”
The yalad (birth / begot) men who had gadal (grown) up with him dabar (word / matter) to him, amar (said), “Thus you shall amar (said) the im (nation / people) who dabar (word / matter) to you, amar (said), ‘Your ab (father) kabad (made) our il (over) kabad (heavy), but qalal (make) it lighter on us;’ thus you shall amar (said) to them, ‘My qatan (small / young / least) finger is ibah (thicker) than my ab (father) waist.
Ithah (now / present moment) whereas my ab (father) imas (burdened) you with a kabad (heavy) il (over), I will yasap (add) to your il (over). My ab (father) yasar (chastised) you with shawatayam (whips), but I will chastise you with iqarabayam (scorpions).’”
So Yarabaim (Jeroboam) and all the im (nation / people) bawaa (bring) to Rachabaim (Rehoboam) the shalayashay (third) yawam (day), as the malak (king) asked, amar (said), “shawab (turn) to me again the shalayashay (third) yawam (day).”
The malak (king) inah (answer / respond) them qashah (rough / hard); and malak (king) Rachabaim (Rehoboam) forsook the itzah (counsel) of the zaqan (old) men,
And dabar (word / matter) to them after the itzah (counsel) of the yalad (birth / begot) men, amar (said), “My ab (father) made your il (over) kabad (heavy), but I will yasap (add) to it. My ab (father) yasar (chastised) you with shawatayam (whips), but I will chastise you with iqarabayam (scorpions).”
So the malak (king) didn't shamai (hearken / hear) to the im (nation / people); for it was brought about of Alahayam (), that Yahawah () might qawam (rise up) his dabar (word / matter), which he dabar (word / matter) by Achayah (Ahijah) the Shayalawanay (Shilonite) to Yarabaim (Jeroboam) the ban (son) of Nabat (Nebat).
When all Yashar-Al (Israel) raah (see / saw) that the malak (king) didn't shamai (hearken / hear) to them, the im (nation / people) shawab (turn) the malak (king), amar (said), “What chalaq (portion) have we in Dawad (David)? Neither have we nachalah (inheritance) in the ban (son) of Yashay (Jesse)! Every ayash (man / husband) to your ahal (tents), Yashar-Al (Israel)! Now raah (see / saw) to your own bayath (house), Dawad (David).” So all Yashar-Al (Israel) departed to their ahal (tents).
But as for the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) who lived in the iray (cities) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), Rachabaim (Rehoboam) malak (king) over them.
Then malak (king) Rachabaim (Rehoboam) shalach (send) Hadawaram (Hadoram), who was over the men subject to forced mas (labor); and the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) ragam (stoned) him to mawath (death) with aban (stone). Malak (king) Rachabaim (Rehoboam) amatz (made) speed to ilah (go up / offer) himself up to his marakabah (chariot), to nawas (flee) to Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem).
So Yashar-Al (Israel) pashai (rebelled) against the bayath (house) of Dawad (David) to this yawam (day).
