In the shanayam (two) shanah (year) of Yawaash (Joash) ban (son) of Yawaachaz (Joahaz) malak (king) of Yashar-Al (Israel) began Amatzayah (Amaziah) the ban (son) of Yawaash (Joash) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) to malak (king).
He was twenty-five shanah (years) ban (son) when he began to malak (king); and he malak (king) twenty-nine shanah (years) in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem): and his am (mother) sham (name) was Yahawaidayan (Jehoaddin) of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem).
He ishah (make) that which was yashar (upright) in the iyanay (eyes) of Yahawah (), yet not like Dawad (David) his ab (father): he ishah (make) according to all that Yawaash (Joash) his ab (father) ishah (make) done.
However the bamah (high) places were not sawar (taken) away: the im (nation / people) still zabach (sacrificed) and burnt qatar (incense) in the bamah (high) places.
It happened, as soon as the mamalakah (kingdom) was chazaq (established) in his yad (hand), that he nakah (killed) his ibad (servant) who had nakah (slain) the malak (king) his ab (father):
But the banay (children) of the makayam (murderers) he didn't put to mawath (death); according to that which is kathab (write) in the sapar (book / scribed document) of the thawarah (instruction) of Mashah (Moses), as Yahawah () tzawah (commanded), amar (spoke), “The abawath (fathers) shall not be put to mawath (death) for the banay (children), nor the banay (children) be put to mawath (death) for the abawath (fathers); but every ayash (man / husband) shall mawath (death) for his own chataa (sin).”
He nakah (killed) of Adawam (Edom) in the gayaa (valley) of malach (salt) ishar (ten) alap (thousand), and thapash (took) salai (sela) by malachamah (war), and qaraa (called) its sham (name) Yaqathaal (Joktheel), to this yawam (day).
Then Amatzayah (Amaziah) shalach (send) malaakayam (messengers) to Yahawaash (Jehoash), the ban (son) of Yahawaachaz (Jehoahaz) ban (son) of Yahawaa (Jehu), malak (king) of Yashar-Al (Israel), amar (said), “yalak (come), raah (see / saw) us look one another in the panayam (face).”
Yahawaash (Jehoash) the malak (king) of Yashar-Al (Israel) shalach (send) to Amatzayah (Amaziah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), amar (said), “The chawach (thistle) that was in Labanawan (Lebanon) shalach (send) to the araz (cedar) that was in Labanawan (Lebanon), amar (said), ‘nathan (give) your banath (daughter) to my ban (son) as ayashah (woman / wife). Then a shadah (wild) animal that was in Labanawan (Lebanon) ibar (pass over/through) by, and ramas (trampled) down the chawach (thistle).
You have nakah (indeed) nakah (struck) Adawam (Edom), and your lab (heart) has nashaa (lift) you up. Enjoy the glory of it, and stay at bayath (house); for why should you garah (meddle) to your rai (harm), that you should napal (fall / be cast down), even you, and Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) with you?’”
But Amatzayah (Amaziah) would not shamai (hearken / hear). So Yahawaash (Jehoash) malak (king) of Yashar-Al (Israel) ilah (go up / offer) up; and he and Amatzayah (Amaziah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) raah (see / saw) one another in the panayam (face) at Bayath-Shamash (Beth Shemesh), which belongs to Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah).
Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) was defeated by Yashar-Al (Israel); and they nawas (fled) every ayash (man / husband) to his ahal (tent).
Yahawaash (Jehoash) malak (king) of Yashar-Al (Israel) thapash (took) Amatzayah (Amaziah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), the ban (son) of Yahawaash (Jehoash) the ban (son) of Achazayah (Ahaziah), at Bayath-Shamash (Beth Shemesh), and bawaa (bring) to Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), and paratz (broke) down the chawamah (wall) of Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem) from the shair (gate) of Aparayam (Ephraim) to the panah (turn) shair (gate), arabai (four) maah (hundred) amah (cubits).
He laqach (take / seize) all the zahab (gold) and kasap (silver), and all the kalayam (vessels) that were matzaa (found) in the bayath (house) of Yahawah (), and in the atzarawath (treasures) of the malak (king) bayath (house), the hostages also, and shawab (turn back / repent) to Shamarawan (Samaria).
Now the yathar (rest) of the dabaray (acts) of Yahawaash (Jehoash) which he ishah (make), and his gabawarah (might), and how he lacham (fought) with Amatzayah (Amaziah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), aren't they kathab (write) in the sapar (book / scribed document) of the dabaray (chronicles) of the malakay (kings) of Yashar-Al (Israel)?
Yahawaash (Jehoash) shakab (slept) with his ab (father), and was qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) in Shamarawan (Samaria) with the malakay (kings) of Yashar-Al (Israel); and Yarabaim (Jeroboam) his ban (son) malak (king) in his place.

They made a qashar (conspiracy) against him in Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem); and he nawas (fled) to Lakayash (Lachish): but they shalach (send) achar (other) him to Lakayash (Lachish), and mawath (death) him there.
They nashaa (lift) him on sawasayam (horses); and he was qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) at Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem) with his ab (father) in the iyar (city) of Dawad (David).
All the im (nation / people) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) laqach (take / seize) Izarayah (Azariah), who was sixteen shanah (years) ban (son), and made him malak (king) in the place of his ab (father) Amatzayah (Amaziah).
He banah (build) Ayalawath (Elath), and shawab (turn) it to Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), achar (other) that the malak (king) shakab (slept) with his ab (father).

He ishah (make) that which was rai (evil) in the iyan (eye) of Yahawah (): he didn't sawar (depart) from all the chataawath (sins) of Yarabaim (Jeroboam) the ban (son) of Nabat (Nebat), with which he made Yashar-Al (Israel) to chataa (sin).
He shawab (turn back / repent) the gabawal (border/boundary) of Yashar-Al (Israel) from the entrance of Chamath (Hamath) to the yam (sea/waters) of the irabah (arabah), according to the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), which he dabar (word / matter) by his ibad (servant) Yawanah (Jonah) the ban (son) of Amathay (Amittai), the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), who was of Gathahachapar (Gath Hepher).
For Yahawah () raah (see) the inay (affliction) of Yashar-Al (Israel), that it was very marah (bitter); for there was apas (none) itzar (shut) up nor izab (left) at large, neither was there any helper for Yashar-Al (Israel).
Yahawah () didn't dabar (word / matter) that he would machah (blot) out the sham (name) of Yashar-Al (Israel) from under the sky; but he yashai (salvation) them by the yad (hand) of Yarabaim (Jeroboam) the ban (son) of Yawaash (Joash).
