Alayashai (Elisha) the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) qaraa (called) achad (one) of the banay (my son) of the nabayaayam (prophets), and amar (said) to him, “chagar (put) your belt on your waist, laqach (take / seize) this pak (vial) of shaman (oil) in your yad (hand), and yalak (go) to Ramath-Galaid (Ramoth Gilead).
When you bawaa (bring) there, find Yahawaa (Jehu) the ban (son) of Yahawashapat (Jehoshaphat) the ban (son) of Namashay (Nimshi), and bawaa (bring) in, and make him qawam (rise up) up from thawak (midst) his ach (brother/kinsman), and bawaa (bring) him to an chadar (inner) room.
Then laqach (take / seize) the pak (vial) of shaman (oil), and yatzaq (pour) it on his raash (head), and amar (spoke), ‘Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), “I have mashach (anointed) you malak (king) over Yashar-Al (Israel).”’ Then pathach (open) the dalath (door), nawas (flee), and don't chakah (wait).”
So the nair (young) man, even the nair (young) man the nabayaa (prophet/prophecy), yalak (went) to Ramath-Galaid (Ramoth Gilead).
When he bawaa (bring), behold, the sharay (captains) of the chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) were sitting. Then he amar (said), “I have a dabar (word / matter) for you, shar (prince / ruler).” Yahawaa (Jehu) amar (said), “To which of us all?” He amar (said), “To you, O shar (prince / ruler).”
He qawam (rise up), and bawaa (come) into the bayath (house). Then he yatzaq (poured) the shaman (oil) on his raash (head), and amar (spoke) to him, “Thus amar (spoke) Yahawah (), the Alahayam () of Yashar-Al (Israel), ‘I have mashach (anointed) you malak (king) over the im (nation / people) of Yahawah (), even over Yashar-Al (Israel).
You shall nakah (strike) the bayath (house) of Achaab (Ahab) your adawan (master / lord), that I may naqam (avenge) the dam (blood) of my ibaday (servants) the nabayaayam (prophets), and the dam (blood) of all the ibaday (servants) of Yahawah (), at the yad (hand) of Ayazabal (Jezebel).
For the whole bayath (house) of Achaab (Ahab) shall abad (destroy / perish). I will karath (cut) off from Achaab (Ahab) everyone who urinates against a qayar (wall), both him who is itzar (shut) up and him who is izab (left) at large in Yashar-Al (Israel).
I will nathan (give) the bayath (house) of Achaab (Ahab) like the bayath (house) of Yarabaim (Jeroboam) the ban (son) of Nabat (Nebat), and like the bayath (house) of Baishaa (Baasha) the ban (son) of Achayah (Ahijah).
The kalabayam (dogs) will akal (eat) Ayazabal (Jezebel) on the plot of ground of Yazaraial (Jezreel), and there shall be none to qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) her.’” He pathach (opened) the dalath (door), and nawas (fled).
Then Yahawaa (Jehu) yatzaa (go out / come out) forth to the ibaday (servants) of his Adawan (): and one amar (spoke) to him, “Is shalawam (peace / safety) well? Why did this shagai (mad) fellow bawaa (come) to you?” He amar (spoke) to them, “You yadai (know) the ayash (man / husband) and what his shayach (talk) was.”
They amar (spoke), “That is a shaqar (lie). Nagad (tell) us now.” He amar (spoke), “He amar (spoke) to me, ‘Thus yaamaraw (says) Yahawah (), I have mashach (anointed) you malak (king) over Yashar-Al (Israel).’”
Then they hurried, and laqach (take / seize) every ayash (man / husband) his bagad (garment), and shawam (place / establish / appoint) it under him on the garam (top) of the mailawath (stairs), and thaqai (blow / sound alarm) the shawapar (Shofar / Ram's horn), amar (said), “Yahawaa (Jehu) is malak (king).”
So Yahawaa (Jehu) the ban (son) of Yahawashapat (Jehoshaphat) the ban (son) of Namashay (Nimshi) qashar (conspired) against Yawaram (Joram). (Now Yawaram (Joram) was shamar (keep/guard) Ramath-Galaid (Ramoth Gilead), he and all Yashar-Al (Israel), panayam (face) of Chazaal (Hazael) malak (king) of Aram (Syria);
But malak (king) Yahawaram (Joram) was shawab (turn) to be rapaa (healed) in Yazaraial (Jezreel) of the makayam (wounds) which the Aramay (Syrians) had nakah (given) him, when he lacham (fought) with Chazaal (Hazael) malak (king) of Aram (Syria).) Yahawaa (Jehu) amar (said), “If this is your thinking, then let no al (toward) palayat (escape) and yatzaa (go out / come out) out of the iyar (city), to yalak (go) to nagad (tell) it in Yazaraial (Jezreel).”
So Yahawaa (Jehu) rakab (rode) in a chariot, and yalak (went) to Yazaraial (Jezreel); for Yawaram (Joram) shakab (lay) there. Achazayah (Ahaziah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) had yarad (come) down to raah (see / saw) Yawaram (Joram).
Now the tzapah (watchman / keep watch) was imad (standing) on the magadal (tower) in Yazaraial (Jezreel), and he raah (see / saw) the shapaih (company) of Yahawaa (Jehu) as he bawaa (bring), and amar (said), “I raah (see / saw) a shapaih (company).” Yahawaram (Joram) amar (said), “laqach (take / seize) a rakab (horseman), and shalach (send) to qaraah (meet) them, and let him amar (said), ‘Is it shalawam (peace / safety)?’”
So there yalak (went) one on rakab (horseback) to qaraah (meet) him, and amar (said), “Thus amar (said) the malak (king), ‘Is it shalawam (peace / safety)?’” Yahawaa (Jehu) amar (said), “What do you have to do with shalawam (peace / safety)? Fall in achar (other) me!” The tzapah (watchman / keep watch) said, “The malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) bawaa (bring) to them, but he isn't shawab (turn) back.”
Then he shalach (send) out a shanay (second) on rakab (horseback), who bawaa (bring) to them, and amar (said), “Thus amar (said) the malak (king), ‘Is it shalawam (peace / safety)?’” Yahawaa (Jehu) amar (said), “What do you have to do with shalawam (peace / safety)? Fall in achar (other) me!”
The tzapah (watchman / keep watch) said, “He bawaa (bring) to them, and isn't shawab (turn) back. The manahag (driving) is like the manahag (driving) of Yahawaa (Jehu) the ban (son) of Namashay (Nimshi); for he nahag (drives) shagaiwan (furiously).”
Yahawaram (Joram) amar (said), “Get asar (ready)!” They got his rakab (chariot) asar (ready). Yahawaram (Joram) malak (king) of Yashar-Al (Israel) and Achazayah (Ahaziah) malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) yatzaa (go out / come out) out, ayash (man / husband) in his rakab (chariot), and they yatzaa (go out / come out) out to qaraah (meet) Yahawaa (Jehu), and matzaa (found) him in the chalaqah (portion) of Nabawath (Naboth) the yazaraialay (jezreelite).
It happened, when Yahawaram (Joram) raah (see / saw) Yahawaa (Jehu), that he amar (said), “Is it shalawam (peace / safety), Yahawaa (Jehu)?” He amar (said), “What shalawam (peace / safety), so id (until / as far as) as the prostitution of your am (mother) Ayazabal (Jezebel) and her kashap (witchcraft) rab (abound)?”
Yahawaram (Joram) hapak (turned) his yad (hand), and nawas (fled), and amar (said) to Achazayah (Ahaziah), “There is treason, Achazayah (Ahaziah)!”
Yahawaa (Jehu) drew his qashath (bow) with his malaa (full) yad (hand), and nakah (struck) Yahawaram (Joram) between his zarawai (arms); and the chatzay (arrow) yatzaa (go out / come out) out at his lab (heart), and he karai (sunk) down in his rakab (chariot).
Then Yahawaa (Jehu) amar (spoke) to Badaqar (Bidkar) his shalayash (captain), “Pick him up, and shalak (throw) him in the plot of the shadah (field) of Nabawath (Naboth) the yazaraialay (jezreelite); for zakar (remember) how, when you and I rakab (rode) tzamad (together) achar (other) Achaab (Ahab) his ab (father), Yahawah () nashaa (lift) this mashaa (burden) on him:
‘Raah (see) I have seen amash (yesterday) the dam (blood) of Nabawath (Naboth), and the dam (blood) of his ban (son),’ naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (); ‘and I will shalam (repay) you in this plot of ground,’ naam (declares prophetically) Yahawah (). Now therefore nashaa (lift) and shalak (cast) him onto the plot of ground, according to the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah ().”
But when Achazayah (Ahaziah) the malak (king) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah) raah (see / saw) this, he nawas (fled) by the darak (way) of the gan (garden) bayath (house). Yahawaa (Jehu) radap (followed) achar (other) him, and amar (said), “nakah (strike) him also in the marakabah (chariot)!” They struck him at the mailah (ascent) of Gawar (Gur), which is by Yabalaim (Ibleam). He nawas (fled) to Magadawan (Megiddo), and mawath (death) there.
His ibad (servant) rakab (carried) him in a chariot to Yarawashalam (Yarawashalam / Jerusalem), and qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) him in his tomb with his ab (father) in the iyar (city) of Dawad (David).
In the ishar (-teen) shanah (year) of Yawaram (Joram) the ban (son) of Achaab (Ahab) began Achazayah (Ahaziah) to malak (king) over Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah).
When Yahawaa (Jehu) bawaa (bring) come to Yazaraial (Jezreel), Ayazabal (Jezebel) shamai (hearken / hear) of it; and she shawam (place / establish / appoint) her iyan (eye), and attired her raash (head), and shaqap (looked) out at the chalawan (window).
As Yahawaa (Jehu) bawaa (bring) in at the shair (gate), she amar (said), “Do you come in shalawam (peace / safety), Zamaray (Zimri), you harag (kill) of your adawan (master / lord)?”
He nashaa (lift) up his panayam (face) to the chalawan (window), and amar (said), “Who is on my side? Who?” Shanayam (two) or shalawash (three) sarayasayam (eunuchs) shaqap (looked) out at him.
He amar (said), “shamat (throw) her down!” So they shamat (threw) her down; and some of her dam (blood) was nazah (sprinkled) on the qayar (wall), and on the sawasayam (horses). Then he ramas (trampled) her under foot.
When he bawaa (bring) come in, he akal (eat) and shathah (drinks); and he amar (said), “paqad (visit) now to this arar (cursed) woman, and qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) her; for she is a malak (king) banath (daughter).”
They yalak (went) to qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) her; but they matzaa (found) no more of her am (mother) the galagalath (skull), and the ragalayam (feet), and the kapawath (palms) of her yadayam (hands).
Therefore they shawab (turn back / repent) back, and nagad (told) him. He amar (spoke), “This is the dabar (word / matter) of Yahawah (), which he dabar (word / matter) by his ibad (servant) Alayah (Elijah) the thashabay (tishbite), amar (spoke), ‘The kalabayam (dogs) will akal (eat) the bashar (flesh) of Ayazabal (Jezebel) on the plot of Yazaraial (Jezreel),
And the nabalah (body) of Ayazabal (Jezebel) shall be as daman (dung) on the panayam (face) of the shadah (field) in the chalaq (portion) of Yazaraial (Jezreel), so that they shall not amar (said), “This is Ayazabal (Jezebel).”’”
