In the shalawash (three) shanah (year) of the malakawath (reign) of malak (king) Balashaatzar (Belshazzar) a chazawan (vision) raah (see / saw) to me, even to me, Danayaal (Daniel), achar (other) that which raah (see / saw) to me at the thachalah (first).
I raah (see / saw) in the chazawan (vision); now it was so, that when I raah (see / saw), I was in the citadel of Shawashan (Susa), which is in the madayanah (province) of Iyalam (Elam); and I raah (see / saw) in the chazawan (vision), and I was by the awabal (river) Awalay (Ulai).
Then I nashaa (lift) up my iyan (eye), and raah (see / saw), and behold, there imad (stood) panayam (face) the awabal (river) a ayal (ram) which had two qaranayam (horns): and the two qaranayam (horns) were gabah (high); but achad (one) was gabah (higher) than the other, and the gabah (higher) ilah (go up / offer) up acharawan (last).
I raah (see / saw) the ayal (ram) nagach (pushing) westward, and northward, and southward; and no animals could imad (stand) panayam (face) him, neither was there any who could natzal (deliver) out of his yad (hand); but he ishah (make) according to his ratzawan (will), and gadal (magnified) himself.
As I was bayan (between), behold, a male tzapayar (goat) bawaa (bring) from the mairab (west) over the surface of the whole aratz (Earth/land), and didn't nagai (touch) the aratz (Earth/land): and the tzapayar (goat) had a chazawath (notable) qaran (horn) between his iyan (eye).
He bawaa (bring) to the ayal (ram) that bail (had) the two qaranayam (horns), which I raah (see / saw) imad (standing) panayam (face) the awabal (river), and rawatz (ran) on him in the fury of his kach (strength / mighty / power).
I raah (see / saw) him nagai (come) close to the ayal (ram), and he was marar (moved) with anger against him, and nakah (struck) the ayal (ram), and shabar (broke) his shanayam (two) qaran (horn); and there was no kach (strength / mighty / power) in the ayal (ram) to imad (stand) panayam (face) him; but he shalak (cast) him down to the aratz (Earth/land), and ramas (trampled) on him; and there was none who could natzal (deliver) the ayal (ram) out of his yad (hand).
The male iz (goat) gadal (magnified) himself maad (exceedingly): and when he was itzam (strong), the gadal (great) qaran (horn) was shabar (broken); and instead of it there ilah (go up / offer) up arabai (four) notable horns toward the arabai (four) rawachawath (winds) of the sky.
Out of achad (one) of them yatzaa (go out / come out) forth a matzaiyarah (little) qaran (horn), which grew yathar (exceeding) gadal (great), toward the nagab (south), and toward the mazarach (east), and toward the tzabay (glorious) land.
It gadal (grew) great, even to the tzabaa (troop) of the sky; and some of the tzabaa (troop) and of the kawakabayam (stars) it napal (fall / be cast down) down to the aratz (Earth/land), and ramas (trampled) on them.
Yes, it gadal (magnified) itself, even to the shar (prince / ruler) of the tzabaa (troop); and it rawam (will lift up) away from him the thamayad (continual) burnt offering, and the makawan (place) of his maqadash (sanctuary) was shalak (cast) down.
The tzabaa (troop) was nathan (give) over to it together with the thamayad (continual) burnt pashai (offering) through disobedience; and it shalak (cast) down amath (truth) to the aratz (Earth/land), and it ishah (make) its pleasure and tzalach (prospered).
Then I shamai (hearken / hear) a qadawash (holy) one dabar (word / matter); and another holy one amar (said) to that palamawanay (certain) one who dabar (word / matter), “How long shall be the chazawan (vision) concerning the thamayad (continual) burnt pashai (offering), and the disobedience that shamam (makes) desolate, to nathan (give) both the qadash (set apart / make holy) and the tzabaa (troop) to be trodden under maramas (foot)?”
He amar (said) to me, “To two alap (thousand) and shalawash (three) maah (hundred) irab (evening) and mornings; then shall the qadash (set apart / make holy) be tzadaq (righteous / just / fair).”
It happened, when I, even I Danayaal (Daniel), raah (see / saw) seen the chazawan (vision), that I baqash (sought) to understand it; and behold, there imad (stood) before me as the maraah (appearance) of a gabar (man).
I shamai (hearken / hear) a adam (man's) qawal (sound / voice) between the banks of the Awalay (Ulai), which qaraa (called), and amar (said), “Gabarayaal (Gabriel), make halaz (this) bayan (between) to understand the maraah (vision).”
So he bawaa (bring) atzal (near) where I imad (stood); and when he bawaa (bring), I was frightened, and napal (fall / be cast down) on my panayam (face): but he amar (said) to me, “bayan (between), ban (son) of adam (man); for the chazawan (vision) belongs to the ith (time) of the qatz (end).”
Now as he was dabar (word / matter) with me, I fell into a radam (deep) sleep with my panayam (face) toward the aratz (Earth/land); but he nagai (touched) me, and imad (set) me upright.
He amar (said), “Behold, I yadai (will) make you know what shall be in the acharayath (latter) time of the zaim (indignation); for it belongs to the mawaid (Feast/Holy Day) time of the qatz (end).
The ayal (ram) which you raah (see / saw), that bail (had) the two qaranayam (horns), they are the malakay (kings) of Maday (Media) and Paras (Persia).
The shaiyar (rough) male tzapayar (goat) is the malak (king) of Yawan (Greece): and the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) qaran (horn) that is between his iyan (eye) is the raashawan (first) malak (king).
As for that which was shabar (broken), in the place where arabai (four) imad (stood) up, arabai (four) malakayawath (kingdoms) shall imad (stand) up out of the gaway (heathen / nation), but not with his kach (strength / mighty / power).
“In the acharayath (latter) time of their malakawath (kingdom), when the transgressors thamam (have) come to the full, a malak (king) of iz (fierce) panayam (face), and bayan (between) chayadah (dark) sentences, shall imad (stand) up.
His kach (strength / mighty / power) shall be itzam (mighty), but not by his own kach (strength / mighty / power); and he shall shachath (destroy) wonderfully, and shall tzalach (prosper) and ishah (make) his pleasure; and he shall shachath (destroy) the itzawam (mighty) ones and the qadawash (holy) im (nation / people).
Through his shakal (policy) he shall cause maramah (craft) to tzalach (prosper) in his yad (hand); and he shall gadal (magnify) himself in his labab (heart), and in their security shall he shachath (destroy) many: he shall also imad (stand) up against the shar (prince / ruler) of sharayam (princes); but he shall be shabar (broken) apas (without) yad (hand).
“The maraah (vision) of the irab (evening) and baqar (morning) which has been amar (said) is amath (truth): but seal up the chazawan (vision); for it belongs to many yamayam (days) to come.”
I, Danayaal (Daniel), hayah (came to pass), and was chalah (afflict) certain yamayam (days); then I qawam (rise up) up, and ishah (make) the malak (king) malaakah (business): and I shamam (wondered) at the maraah (vision), but none bayan (between) it.
