Deuteronomy 11 — English–Hebrew Parallel

Therefore you shall ahab (love) Yahawah () your Alahayam (), and shamar (keep/guard) his instructions, and his chaqah (statutes), and his mashapat (ordinances), and his matzawah (commandments), yamayam (always).

Yadai (know) this yawam (day): for I don't speak with your ban (son) who yadai (have) not known, and who raah (see) not seen the mawasar (chastisement) of Yahawah () your Alahayam (), his gadal (greatness), his chazaq (mighty) yad (hand), and his natah (outstretched) zarawai (arm),

And his awath (sign / mark / miracle), and his maishah (works), which he ishah (make) in the thawak (midst) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt) to Paraih (Pharaoh) the malak (king) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), and to all his aratz (Earth/land);

And what he ishah (make) to the chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) of Matzarayam (Egypt), to their sawas (horses), and to their rakab (chariots); how he made the mayam (Waters) of the sawap (red) yam (sea/waters) to overflow them as they radap (pursued) achar (other) you, and how Yahawah () abad (destroy / perish) destroyed them to this yawam (day);

And what he ishah (make) to you in the madabar (wilderness), until you bawaa (bring) to this maqawam (place);

And what he ishah (make) to Dathan (Dathan) and Abayaram (Abiram), the banay (my son) of Alayaab (Eliab), the ban (son) of Raawaban (Reuben); how the aratz (Earth/land) patzah (opened) its pah (mouth), and balai (swallowed) them up, and their bayath (house), and their ahal (tents), and every living thing that ragal (feet / foot) them, in the qarab (among / near) of all Yashar-Al (Israel):

But your iyan (eye) raah (see) seen all the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) maishah (work) of Yahawah () which he ishah (make).

Therefore you shall shamar (keep/guard) all the matzawah (commandment) which I tzawah (command) you this yawam (day), that you may be chazaq (strong), and bawaa (bring) in and yarash (possess) the aratz (Earth/land), where you ibar (pass over/through) over to yarash (possess) it;

And that you may prolong your yamayam (days) in the adamah (land), which Yahawah () shabai (swear / take oath) to your ab (father) to nathan (give) to them and to their zarai (seed), a aratz (Earth/land) zawab (flow) with chalab (milk) and dabash (honey).

For the aratz (Earth/land), where you bawaa (bring) in to yarash (possess) it, isn't as the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Matzarayam / Egypt), that you yatzaa (go out / come out) out from, where you zarai (sowed) your zarai (seed), and shaqah (watered) it with your ragal (feet / foot), as a gan (garden) of yaraq (herbs);

But the aratz (Earth/land), where you ibar (pass over/through) over to yarash (possess) it, is a aratz (Earth/land) of harayam (hills) and baqaith (valleys) which shathah (drinks) mayam (Waters) of the matar (rain) of the sky,

A aratz (Earth/land) which Yahawah () your Alahayam () darash (cares) for: the iyanay (eyes) of Yahawah () your Alahayam () are thamayad (always) on it, from the raashayath (beginning) of the shanah (year) even to the acharayath (end) of the shanah (year).

It shall happen, if you shall shamai (hearken / hear) shamai (hearken / hear) to my matzawah (commandments) which I tzawah (command) you this yawam (day), to ahab (love) Yahawah () your Alahayam (), and to ibad (servant) him with all your labab (heart) and with all your napash (soul),

That I will nathan (give) the matar (rain) of your aratz (Earth/land) in its ith (season), the yawarah (former) rain and the latter yawarah (rain), that you may asap (gather) in your grain, and your new thayarawash (wine), and your yatzahar (fresh oil).

I will nathan (give) ishab (grass) in your shadah (fields) for your livestock, and you shall akal (eat) and be shabai (full).

Shamar (keep/guard) heed to yourselves, lest your labab (heart) be pathah (deceived), and you sawar (turn) aside, and ibad (servant) other Alahayam (), and shachah (worship) them;

And the ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting) of Yahawah () be charah (hot with anger) against you, and he itzar (shut) up the sky, so that there shall be no matar (rain), and the adamah (land) shall not nathan (give) its yabawal (fruit); and you abad (destroy / perish) maharah (quickly) from off the tawab (good / proper function) aratz (Earth/land) which Yahawah () nathan (give) you.

Therefore you shall shawam (place / establish / appoint) up these my dabar (word / matter) in your labab (heart) and in your napash (soul); and you shall qashar (bind) them for a awath (sign / mark / miracle) on your yad (hand), and they shall be for symbols between your iyan (eye).

You shall lamad (teach / instruct) them your ban (son), dabar (word / matter) of them, when you yashab (inhabit/dwell) in your bayath (house), and when you yalak (walk) by the darak (way), and when you shakab (lie) down, and when you qawam (rise up) up.

You shall kathab (write) them on the mazawazah (door) posts of your bayath (house), and on your shair (gates);

That your yamay (days) may be rabah (multiplied), and the yamay (days) of your ban (son), in the adamah (land) which Yahawah () shabai (swear / take oath) to your ab (father) to nathan (give) them, as the yamay (days) of the shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens) above the aratz (Earth/land).

For if you shall diligently shamar (keep/guard) all this matzawah (commandment) which I tzawah (command) you, to ishah (make) it, to ahab (love) Yahawah () your Alahayam (), to yalak (walk) in all his darak (ways), and to cling to him;

Then will Yahawah () yarash (drive) out all these gawayam (nations) from panayam (face) you, and you shall yarash (dispossess) gawayam (nations) greater and mightier than yourselves.

Every maqawam (place) whereon the kap (sole) of your ragal (feet / foot) shall darak (tread) shall be yours: from the madabar (wilderness), and Labanawan (Lebanon), from the nahar (river), the nahar (river) Parath (Euphrates), even to the hinder yam (sea/waters) shall be your gabawal (border/boundary).

No ayash (man / husband) shall be yatzab (able) to stand panayam (face) you: Yahawah () your Alahayam () shall nathan (give) the pachad (fear / dread) of you and the mawaraa (dread) of you on all the aratz (Earth/land) that you shall darak (tread) on, as he has dabar (word / matter) to you.

Raah (see / saw), I nathan (give) panayam (face) you this yawam (day) a barakah (blessing) and a qalalah (curse):

The barakah (blessing), if you shall shamai (hearken / hear) to the matzawath (commandments) of Yahawah () your Alahayam (), which I tzawah (command) you this yawam (day);

And the qalalah (curse), if you shall not shamai (hearken / hear) to the matzawath (commandments) of Yahawah () your Alahayam (), but sawar (turn) aside out of the darak (way) which I tzawah (command) you this yawam (day), to yalak (go) achar (other) other Alahayam (), which you yadai (have) not known.

It shall happen, when Yahawah () your Alahayam () shall bawaa (come) you into the aratz (Earth/land) where you bawaa (come) to yarash (possess) it, that you shall nathan (give) the barakah (blessing) on har (mountain) Garazayam (Gerizim), and the qalalah (curse) on har (mountain) Iyabal (Ebal).

Aren't they ibar (beyond) the Yaradan (Jordan), achar (other) the darak (way) of the mabawaa (going) down of the shamash (sun), in the aratz (Earth/land) of the Kanainay (Canaanite) who yashab (inhabit/dwell) in the irabah (arabah), over mawal (against) Galagal (Gilgal), beside the oaks of Mawarah (Moreh)?

For you are to ibar (pass over/through) over the Yaradan (Jordan) to bawaa (come) in to yarash (possess) the aratz (Earth/land) which Yahawah () your Alahayam () nathan (give) you, and you shall yarash (possess) it, and yashab (inhabit/dwell) therein.

You shall shamar (keep/guard) to ishah (make) all the chaqayam (statutes) and the mashapatayam (ordinances) which I nathan (give) panayam (face) you this yawam (day).
