When Yahawah () your Alahayam () shall karath (cut) off the gawayam (nations), whose aratz (Earth/land) Yahawah () your Alahayam () nathan (give) you, and you yarash (succeed) them, and yashab (inhabit/dwell) in their iyar (cities), and in their bayath (house);
You shall set apart shalawash (three) irayam (cities) for you in the thawak (midst) of your aratz (Earth/land), which Yahawah () your Alahayam () nathan (give) you to yarash (possess) it.
You shall kawan (prepare) you the darak (way), and divide the gabawal (border/boundary) of your aratz (Earth/land), which Yahawah () your Alahayam () nachal (causes) you to inherit, into shalash (three) parts, that every manslayer may nawas (flee) there.
This is the dabar (word / matter) of the manslayer, that shall nawas (flee) there and chayay (life): whoever nakah (kills) his neighbor unawares, and didn't shanaa (hate) him in thamawal (time) shalashawam (past);
As when a man bawaa (bring) into the yair (forest) with his neighbor to chop itz (wood), and his yad (hand) fetches a nadach (stroke) with the axe to karath (cut) down the itz (tree), and the barazal (head) nashal (slips) from the handle, and matzaa (lights) on his neighbor, so that he mawath (death); he shall nawas (flee) to achad (one) of these irayam (cities) and chayay (life):
Lest the gaal (avenger) of dam (blood) radap (pursue) the manslayer, kay (surely) his labab (heart) is yacham (hot), and nashag (overtake) him, because the darak (way) is rabah (long), and strike him mortally; whereas he was not mashapat (worthy) of mawath (death), kay (surely) as he didn't shanaa (hate) him in thamawal (time) shalashawam (past).
Therefore I tzawah (command) you, amar (said), You shall set apart shalawash (three) irayam (cities) for yourselves.
If Yahawah () your Alahayam () enlarges your gabawal (border/boundary), as he has shabai (swear / take oath) to your ab (father), and nathan (give) you all the aratz (Earth/land) which he dabar (word / matter) to nathan (give) to your ab (father);
If you shamar (keep/guard) all this matzawah (commandment) to ishah (make) it, which I tzawah (command) you this yawam (day), to ahab (love) Yahawah () your Alahayam (), and to yalak (walk) yawam (day) in his darak (ways); then you shall yasap (add) shalawash (three) irayam (cities) more for yourselves, besides these shalawash (three):
That naqay (innocent) dam (blood) not be shapak (shed) in the midst of your aratz (Earth/land), which Yahawah () your Alahayam () nathan (give) you for an nachalah (inheritance), and so dam (blood) be on you.
But if any ayash (man / husband) shanaa (hate) his neighbor, and lies in arab (wait) for him, and qawam (rise up) up against him, and nakah (strikes) him napash (soul) so that he mawath (death), and he nawas (flees) into achad (one) of these irayam (cities);
Then the zaqanay (elders) of his iyar (city) shall shalach (send) and laqach (take / seize) him there, and nathan (give) him into the yad (hand) of the gaal (avenger) of dam (blood), that he may mawath (death).
Your iyan (eye) shall not chawas (pity) him, but you shall bair (put) away the naqay (innocent) dam (blood) from Yashar-Al (Israel), that it may go well with you.
You shall not nasag (remove) your neighbor's gabawal (border/boundary), which they of raashawan (old) time have gabal (set), in your nachalah (inheritance) which you shall nachal (inherit), in the aratz (Earth/land) that Yahawah () your Alahayam () nathan (give) you to yarash (possess) it.
Achad (one) id (until / as far as) shall not qawam (rise up) up against a ayash (man / husband) for any iwan (guilt/iniquity), or for any chataah (sin), in any chataa (sin) that he chataa (sins): at the pah (mouth) of shanayam (two) witnesses, or at the pah (mouth) of shalawash (three) witnesses, shall a dabar (word / matter) be qawam (rise up).
If an chamas (unrighteous) id (until / as far as) qawam (rise up) up against any ayash (man / husband) to inah (answer / respond) against him of wrongdoing,
Then shanayam (two) the anashayam (men), between whom the rayab (controversy) is, shall imad (stand) panayam (face) Yahawah (), panayam (face) the kahanayam (priests) and the shapatayam (judges) who shall be in those yamayam (days);
And the shapatayam (judges) shall yatab (make) diligent darash (inquisition): and, behold, if the id (until / as far as) is a shaqar (false) id (until / as far as), and has inah (answer / respond) falsely against his ach (brother/kinsman);
Then you shall ishah (make) to him as he had zamam (thought) to ishah (make) to his ach (brother/kinsman): so you shall bair (put) bair (away) the rai (evil) from the qarab (among / near) of you.
Those who shaar (remain) shall shamai (hearken / hear), and yaraa (fear / be afraid), and shall yasap (henceforth) ishah (make) no more any such rai (evil) in the qarab (among / near) of you.
Your iyan (eye) shall not chawas (pity): napash (soul) for napash (soul), iyan (eye) for iyan (eye), shan (tooth) for shan (tooth), yad (hand) for yad (hand), ragal (feet / foot) for ragal (feet / foot).
