Deuteronomy 34 — English–Hebrew Parallel

Mashah (Moses) ilah (go up / offer) up from the irabath (plains) of Mawaab (Moab) to har (mountain) Nabaw (Nebo), to the raash (head) of Pasagah (Pisgah), that is over panayam (face) Yarayachaw (Jericho). Yahawah () showed him all the aratz (Earth/land) of Galaid (Gilead), to Dan (Dan),

And all Napathalay (Naphtali), and the aratz (Earth/land) of Aparayam (Ephraim) and Manashah (Manasseh), and all the aratz (Earth/land) of Yahawadah (Yahawadah / Judah), to the hinder yam (sea/waters),

And the nagab (south), and the kakar (plain) of the baqaih (valley) of Yarayachaw (Jericho) the iyar (city) of thamar (palm) trees, to Tzair (Zoar).

Yahawah () amar (spoke) to him, “This is the aratz (Earth/land) which I shabai (swear / take oath) to Abaraham (Abraham), to Yatzachaq (Isaac), and to Yaiqab (Jacob), amar (spoke), ‘I will nathan (give) it to your zarai (seed).’ I raah (see) caused you to see it with your iyan (eye), but you shall not ibar (pass over/through) over there.”

So Mashah (Moses) the ibad (servant) of Yahawah () mawath (death) there in the aratz (Earth/land) of Mawaab (Moab), according to the pah (word) of Yahawah ().

He qabar (grave / tomb / sepulcher) him in the gayaa (valley) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Mawaab (Moab) over mawal (against) Bayathapaiwar (Beth Peor): but no ayash (man / husband) yadai (knows) of his tomb to this yawam (day).

Mashah (Moses) was one maah (hundred) isharayam (twenty) shanah (years) ban (son) when he mawath (death): his iyan (eye) was not kahah (dim), nor his lach (natural) force nawas (abated).

The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) bakah (wept) for Mashah (Moses) in the irabath (plains) of Mawaab (Moab) shalawashayam (thirty) yamay (days): so the yamay (days) of bakay (weeping) in the abal (mourning) for Mashah (Moses) were thamam (ended).

Yahawashawai (Joshua) the ban (son) of Nawan (Nun) malaa (was) full of the rawach (spirit / wind) of chakamah (wisdom); for Mashah (Moses) had samak (laid) his yad (hand) on him: and the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) shamai (hearken / hear) to him, and ishah (make) as Yahawah () tzawah (commanded) Mashah (Moses).

There has not arisen a nabayaa (prophet/prophecy) iwad (more/again) in Yashar-Al (Israel) like Mashah (Moses), whom Yahawah () yadai (knew) panayam (face) to panayam (face),

In all the athawath (signs) and the mawapathayam (wonders), which Yahawah () shalach (send) him to ishah (make) in the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt), to Paraih (Pharaoh), and to all his ibad (servant), and to all his aratz (Earth/land),

And in all the chazaq (mighty) yad (hand), and in all the gadawal (very great/important/mighty) mawaraa (terror), which Mashah (Moses) ishah (make) in the iyan (eye) of all Yashar-Al (Israel).
