Yahawah () dabar (word / matter) to Mashah (Moses), “Depart, ilah (go up / offer) up from here, you and the im (nation / people) that you have ilah (go up / offer) up out of the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt), to the aratz (Earth/land) of which I shabai (swear / take oath) to Abaraham (Abraham), to Yatzachaq (Isaac), and to Yaiqab (Jacob), amar (spoke), ‘I will nathan (give) it to your zarai (seed).’
I will shalach (send) an malaak (angel / messenger of Yah) panayam (face) you; and I will garash (drive) out the Kanainay (Canaanite), the Amaray (Amaray / Amorite), and the Chathay (Hittite), and the Parazay (Perizzite), the Chaway (Hivite), and the Yabawasay (Jebusite):
To a aratz (Earth/land) zawab (flow) with chalab (milk) and dabash (honey): for I will not ilah (go up / offer) up in the qarab (among / near) of you, for you are a stiff-necked im (nation / people), lest I kalah (complete / finish) you in the darak (way).”
When the im (nation / people) shamai (hearken / hear) this rai (evil) news, they abal (mourned): and no ayash (man / husband) shayath (put / appoint / make) on his jewelry.
Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “amar (spoke) the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel), ‘You are a stiff-necked im (nation / people). If I were to ilah (go up / offer) up into your qarab (among / near) for achad (one) ragai (in an instance), I would kalah (complete / finish) you. Therefore now yarad (take) off your jewelry from you, that I may yadai (know) what to ishah (make) to you.’”
The banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel) natzal (stripped) themselves of their jewelry from har (mountain) Charab (Horeb) onward.
Now Mashah (Moses) used to laqach (take / seize) the ahal (tent) and to natah (pitch) it outside the machanah (camp), rachaq (far) away from the machanah (camp), and he qaraa (called) it “The ahal (tent) of Meeting.” It happened that everyone who baqash (sought) Yahawah () yatzaa (go out / come out) out to the ahal (tent) of Meeting, which was outside the machanah (camp).
It happened that when Mashah (Moses) yatzaa (go out / come out) out to the ahal (tent), that all the im (nation / people) qawam (rise up) up, and natzab (stood), everyone at their ahal (tent) pathach (door), and watched Mashah (Moses), until he bawaa (bring) gone into the ahal (tent).
It happened, when Mashah (Moses) bawaa (bring) into the ahal (tent), that the imawad (pillar) of inan (cloud) descended, imad (stood) at the pathach (door) of the ahal (tent), and dabar (word / matter) with Mashah (Moses).
All the im (nation / people) raah (see / saw) the imawad (pillar) of inan (cloud) imad (stand) at the pathach (door) of the ahal (tent), and all the im (nation / people) qawam (rise up) up and shachah (worshiped), everyone at their ahal (tent) pathach (door).
Yahawah () dabar (word / matter) to Mashah (Moses) panayam (face) to panayam (face), as a ayash (man / husband) dabar (word / matter) to his rai (neigbor/another person). He shawab (turn back / repent) again into the machanah (camp), but his sharath (servant) Yahawashawai (Joshua), the ban (son) of Nawan (Nun), a nair (young) man, didn't depart out of the ahal (tent).
Mashah (Moses) amar (spoke) to Yahawah (), “raah (see), you amar (spoke) me, ‘ilah (go up / offer) up this im (nation / people):’ and you haven't yadai (let) me know whom you will shalach (send) with me. Yet you have amar (spoke), ‘I yadai (know) you by sham (name), and you matzaa (have) also found favor in my iyan (eye).’
Now therefore, if I matzaa (have) found favor in your iyan (eye), please show me now your darak (ways), that I may yadai (know) you, so that I may matzaa (find) favor in your iyan (eye): and raah (see / saw) that this gaway (heathen / nation) is your im (nation / people).”
He amar (said), “My panayam (face) will yalak (go) with you, and I will give you nawach (rest).”
He amar (said) to him, “If your panayam (face) doesn't halak (move) with me, don't ilah (go up / offer) us up from here.
For how would people yadai (know) that I matzaa (have) found favor in your iyan (eye), I and your im (nation / people)? Isn't it in that you yalak (go) with us, so that we are palah (separated), I and your im (nation / people), from all the im (nation / people) who are on the surface of the adamah (earth)?”
Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “I will ishah (make) this thing also that you have dabar (word / matter); for you matzaa (have) found favor in my iyan (eye), and I yadai (know) you by sham (name).”
He amar (said), “Please show me your kabawad (glory).”
He amar (spoke), “I will make all my goodness ibar (pass over/through) before you, and will qaraa (called) the sham (name) of Yahawah () panayam (face) you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show racham (show mercy / love) on whom I will show racham (show mercy / love).”
He amar (said), “You cannot raah (see / saw) my panayam (face), for adam (man) may not raah (see / saw) me and chayay (life).”
Yahawah () also amar (spoke), “Behold, there is a maqawam (place) by me, and you shall natzab (stand) on the tzawar (rock).
It will happen, while my kabawad (glory) passes by, that I will shawam (place / establish / appoint) you in a naqarah (cleft) of the tzawar (rock), and will sakak (cover) you with my kap (hand) id (until / as far as) I ibar (pass over/through) passed by;
Then I will sawar (take) away my kap (hand), and you will raah (see / saw) my achawar (back); but my panayam (face) shall not be raah (see / saw).”
