Yahawah () amar (spoke) to Mashah (Moses), “Tell Aharawan (Aaron), ‘laqach (take / seize) your matah (staff / rod / tribe), and natah (stretch) out your yad (hand) over the mayamay (waters) of Matzarayam (Egypt), over their yaar (rivers), over their streams, and over their maqawah (gathering / collection), and over all their agam (ponds) of mayam (Waters), that they may become dam (blood); and there shall be dam (blood) throughout all the aratz (Earth/land) of Matzarayam (Egypt), both in vessels of itz (wood) and in vessels of aban (stone).’”
